As a local who had frequented this "Circus" with very mixed results in the past, it was with great trepidation I decided to give this place another shot. Besides, Fred's was packed. So, my family and I went in with our fingers crossed. Unfortunately, we had one of our worst restaurant experiences in recent history. The owner of this fine establishment, a crotchety old cuss, decided it would be smart for him to be bartender, waiter (using this word somewhat loosely) and cook (using this word very loosely). He failed at all three jobs. He did seat us and take our drink order quickly. I ordered a beer (he didn't screw that up) and my wife ordered a lemon drop. Her drink was so lemony it was undrinkable. Even though I had finished my beer before the food arrived, I was never offered another drink throughout our meal. About our meal. My wife did enjoy her "Pastie", but the veggies on her plate were clearly of the frozen bag variety and her mashed potatoes were cold. My cheeseburger was terrible and my fries were limp and tasted like they had been sitting around for a long time. The "server" never asked how our food was or if we needed anything. Every time he sat something down, he was turning around and running the other way. I had to yell twice to get his attention to tell him I wanted some ranch (which he never brought). This is supposed to be kind of an English sport's pub, but all four TVs were off (or not working) while we were there. This despite the fact that both the Mariners and the NBA playoffs being on TV that day. In the past, all I've seen on the TVs is soccer--gag. This just in, braniac, you live in the U.S. now so maybe not everyone wants to watch this lame sport. In closing, this grumpy old goat tried to do three jobs, and really wasn't good at any of them. I mean this was a sunny Sunday afternoon in Snohomish--this is supposed to be go time. Why even have a business if this is all the effort you're going to put into it? C'mon you old buzzard, hire a waitress. And I know the English aren't known for fine cuisine, but this mess is a new low. If you do waste your time and money in this "pub", don't say I didn't warn you. Go to Fred's down the street. You're welcome. read more

this place is seriously not that bad, yes sometimes the owner old man will be the only one working but give him a break, times are tough and he's trying to save money, stop being a cry baby. His alcohol selection the nice, I enjoyed the food, i had a pastie, never had one before but I liked it. There was a younger female bartender there the second time I went that knew how to make the drinks I instructed her to. Maybe I went at a bad time, but in reading other reviews, maybe anytime is a bad time for Piccadilly Circus The food was didn't taste fresh or well prepared. It was terribly overpriced and small in size. Although we were the only ones in the restaurant, the service was incredibly slow. There appeared to be only one person working in the restaurant, and he was unfriendly and inattentive. Most of his time was spent reading a newspaper at a corner table. How about cleaning up your dirty restaurant or figuring out how to make it better? This place must survive on first time tourists, because I can't imagine they have many regulars. read more

Turned out we waited anyway after we walked in to a restaurant with 3 tables being served. Took forever to get our order and then it was mediocre. This used to be a decent pub. I mean like, years ago. Now I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. The last time we went, as others have said, the owner was doing everything. Bartending, serving, and cooking. Not doing a good job at any. He has a horrible attitude and makes you want to be anyplace but there. Even back when it was a decent place, he was visibly cruel to his female servers. I never saw another male there. We did see more than one woman crying as he berated her though. When he had a staff, they always did a great job. I have no idea why he yelled at everybody so much. He just has a mean demeanor about him. And yes, there is a dog. It will walk around under your table sniffing your feet and begging for food. Not exactly pleasant. Since it's a one-man show, the dog pretty much follows him everywhere, which I would imagine means into the kitchen as well. Not only is this disgusting, but it's illegal in Washington to have pets in restaurants. So, on to the food. If you want to call it that. It used to be good food, but it went progressively downhill until our last visit. We had our meals, and then I ordered an "English Tea" to go. It's not on the menu but could be ordered anyway. He boxed it up for me and we paid and went on our way. The meals at the restaurant were lackluster, but the boxed up food was inedible. The fruit was mushy, to the point of being rotten. The desserts tasted like refrigerator. The bread the sandwiches were on was so stale I couldn't eat it. No respectable restaurant would serve food that was that low-quality. I think he figured since we were taking it home, why not rip us off? The last couple of times we visited, there were no other customers the whole time we were there. It's never been a real busy place, but there'd at least be a few people. I have no idea how this guy has managed to stay in business this long. He's got to be surviving on tourism. He's tried leaving several fake 5-star reviews here, but Yelp keeps removing them because they are so obvious that it's him. Bottom line, the guy isn't nice to his staff or his customers, he does everything he can to take your money when he gets you there, not seeming to care if you ever return, he's tried several times to mislead Yelp readers, and for all that - the food isn't good any more. The place was not busy but the lady working there was friendly and chatty. She recommended the rosemary lentil soup. I got that with a pork dumpling. It was really good! The soup was very savory. Had the Bangers and Mash. The sausage was fine and the mash potatoes did not taste instant. However, I don't like carrots with my bangers and mash. It should just be peas.... read more

Wait staff was kind and friendly. As previously stated, 2 large, friendly dogs were roaming about. My husband and I both ordered the special of the night, chicken parmigiana. When our dinner arrived, the rice and peas mixture seemed like it came from a box and the chicken cutlets on both plates were raw in the middle. We sent them back and they returned the same exact pieces of chicken, still raw in the middle and cool to the touch. We will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

So sad. The owners are a sweet older couple but their bar tender is ruining their business. I watched her leave customers unattended to go smoke. When she came back she stunk of cigarette smell and didn't wash her hands as she proceeded to hand me a drink touching the rim of my glass. OMG, try the breakfast potatoes! I've never had tastier potatoes. And the scrambled eggs are seasoned perfectly. They're open for breakfast, even starting at 8am on Sat and Sunday. Nice place for a cold beer. The English Pub theme adds a bit of character to the establishment. I suppose it's a nice way to distinguish this place from the other pubs in town. Service was OK but the food disappointing. On a hot summer day I didn't feel up to trying the trad. Brit. pub grub so I ordered a Prime Rib dip. I was served a little 5" French roll with a few slices of dried out roast beef and a piece of Cheddar cheese. The burger we ordered was passable but hardly exceptional. The food in England has really improved in the last 10 years, in keeping with authenticity to the theme, Piccadilly Circus needs to step up the food quality. read more

This place is not your typical bar, it's definitely unique. From the moment you walk in the door you realize this when you are greeted by a friendly dog. After you sit down you won't find your typical Budweiser, or Miller on tap but a wonderful selection of beers that you usually won't find at other spots. 16 taps to be exact, and if your unfamiliar with any of them they are happy to give you samples. The menu has authentic English dishes along with American ones so there is something for everyone. The Sheperds Pie, and Fish and Chips were wonderful. The cook came out to get some Newcastle for the beer batter. Which was a plus to know the fish is battered fresh with each order. My server was friendly and gave great service, I would definitely recommend coming in for a beer, and something to eat. read more

I have been here several times over the past couple years. A while ago it used to be just a nice hangout bar mostly for the older crowd. At that time the service and drinks were pretty good, though the food was still just typical dive bar food. Now however, even though it seems to be doing more business, the bar has really gone down hill. The service absolutely just sucks. As some people have mentioned, the customer will have to be the one to get out of their chair and go up to the bar to order. Oh, and then they will have to wait forever unless they are a regular. The drinks are way over priced. I had ordered 4 shots of Patron for my friends & I, and the price came out to $40, that's concert pricing, Just up the street we got the same 4 shots for $30. Also I tried to order either a Crown or Bushmills Manhattan but they said they were out. So I ordered a Pendleton Manhattan instead. I have no idea what the bartender gave to me though. The color was off, and the flavor was absolutely horrible. All in all, the place has just gotten horrid. The only reason we went there and stayed was for the DJ doing karaoke. He is very good. My opinion is everyone should avoid this place unless you only want to have a great time doing karaoke, which was still fun even with all the rest of the bad stuff. Honestly when I walked in I thought that this place seemed like somewhere I'd want to be. It's my friends 21st birthday so she wanted to bar crawl on 1st. So we ended up here at some point. Long story short the owner I'm guessing tried to bully me into buying a drink. I've had a few at this point and I know I need to drive home. I tell him this and he says why are you in here if you're not gonna drink. I tell him I have to drive and very rudly he says he has to drive to. He goes over and switches on the light saying last call. This happened after all our male companions had stepped out for a smoke. After me and my friends walk out because we are offended, he then flips the lights back off because we left. I will never return here neither will any of my friends. read more

This is absolutely the worst pub I have been to. I was with a group of 8. Drinks took a very long time to arrive. Our meals took well over 30 minutes and mediocre at best. I Ordered the shepherds pie which was supposedly very popular. It came swimming in fat. One taste I could not eat it. Returned to the kitchen. The 'chef' if you can call him that /owner came out and berated the entire table. He claimed it was the most popular item on the menu. So not to cause a scene, we paid the check. I would urge customers to pass this one by. If I could have given this pub a 'negative' I would have. Very poor customer service.! read more

I've been to Snohomish lots of times since around 1980 but somehow never noticed this place. Maybe we were lucky on a Sunday afternoon, but the service was just awesome. Heather is full of spunk and was very attentive to our desires. Her dog was almost as charismatic as she was! She had lots of Snohomish local stories to share while we ate the pasties and meat pie. Price was proportional to the portions. Next time we'll come for breakfast and hope for a repeat performance. DO. NOT. COME. HERE. This place is the worst pub I have ever been to. The water tasted so awful, like there was dirt inside of the drink. I closely inspected the glass and saw that there was a HAIR inside the water as well as the glass showing a large smudged LIPSTICK STAIN on the side. My friends and I also has said the drinks tasted terrible and we were worried we might even get sick because that's how bad it was. Don't ask for a cab if you wanted to do the right thing and not drive drunk. We took an Uber there. Phones died and couldn't call any one. They were too worried about closing the bar that they couldn't even call a cab. I was yelled at and told I was being stupid and drunk. Funny thing I had 2 drinks in 4 hours so that was a rude assumption. We hung out all night and asked for a cab and we were kicked out of the bar for good. Asked never to come back. This was our first and last time going there. There are so many other restaurants and bars in snohomish. Why waste your time!!! And getting kicked out of a bar because you need a cab?!!!!!!!! We stopped by there for the first time for an early dinner. We had the sampler platter (mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, fried mushrooms and sausage rolls bites), a dinner salad, fish 'n chips and the prime rib dip. Everything was good, but the dinner salad was a bit underwhelming at $4.50. Service was great and the waitress went above and beyond. My issue w/ the place is that when we tried to use a mobile Hometown Value coupon (which had a code and everything), we were told the owner wouldn't take the mobile coupon only paper ones. What? It's 2019 and you won't take the mobile version of a coupon service that you obviously opted to be involved in? Pretty baffling to us. The waitress made it right and thus we tipped her well. Went there for karaoke night. The place was pretty empty with only about 10 people there. Still, it seemed understaffed with just the one bartender. The food was way too expensive, but we bought a $6 piece of pie. It was sour, mushy, flavorless and lukewarm. The karaoke setup was pretty rinky-dink. Probably the worst dining experience I have ever had. The food was sub-par. The service was horrendous. My friend accidentally used the women's restroom and the owner charged the door, pounded on it and yelled at him that he was in the women's bathroom the entire time he was in there. After a couple of hours of checking out the Antique shops our group of 8 decided we wanted to sit and have a beer. Piccadilly was close so we meandered in... We found the biggest booth and doled the seats out to the 4 adults and 4 kids in our group. We ordered the "Bangers and Mash", along with a "Toad in the Hole" (Wich noted on the menu needed you to allow 30 minutes for it to arrive). I truly enjoyed the Mashed Potatoes that came with our meal, so much so that we ordered JUST a plate of mashed potatoes! They let us bring our toy poodle in with us, and our waitress was hospitiable, warm and welcoming. We did have to ask for waters and juice for our kids after we had ordered juice for the kids right off the bat. My waitress never did ask me what I wanted to drink, but in honesty I'm not sure that I would have known... so after succumbing to my thirst I bellied up to the bar for a Beer... I did notice the place was very slow, but we had a great time in our quiet little corner... we really enjoyed our food and the service was good save for the missed drinks. :) read more

We have only been here once and haven't gone back. Customer service is terrible, as you have heard in the other reviews. The place was dead, us and one other group playing pool, nobody sitting out front in the bar area, and still had to wait for our drinks while the two people working behind the bar finished their conversation. The two pool tables are cramped together, limited food that looked way over priced, and did I mention the slow service?
