To start off, the packer broke a vase that has been in our family for a decade, and then tried to cover it up in their photo try to make it look like it was repairable - judge for yourself to see if a freaking chinese vase can be repaired when it was broken into multiple small pieces like this. I immediately call them, to be told that it will be settled later with the invoice, guess what, the invoice came without any mentioning of this. And then we have the movers, who managed to scratch the floor in our new home, forgot boxes in the old house, and spent 1.5hour to have lunch before arriving at our place - of course they only had 30 mins lunch according to their invoice. Overall: lack of responsibility, poor service quality, and try to cheat customer of every dolar.

And at the end of the move they hit me with over $1,000 more than the price quoted when Carmen came to the house to assess how much labor and time would be needed. When I called in to discuss the damaged and missing items I was told it was 60 days since the move(1day past) that I needed to fill out a PDF form listing the damaged and missing items but "most likely would Not be compensated" . Sending the form was difficult since for some reason all the ink cartridges and internal components were taken out of the printer. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE REPREHENSIBLE SCAMMERS AND THIEVES.

The dresser was broken while it was being carried up the stairs by two of the workers. The two men used a dolly to help them(very heavy item) and while they were coming up the first flight of stairs, the dresser fell forward, down the stairs and shattered. The owner, Francis, assured me that it would be fixed or I would get the money for it, depending on what the insurance company said. I had been communicating with him a few times back and forth since November 9. He would send mini updates throughout the insurance process, saying it takes about 90 days to hear back about a claim. When he finally did text me about the item, he was asking for an address to pick up the dresser. The movers took the dresser with them after it broke. The dresser never even made it to my apartment. When I let Francis know this, he accused me of lying and saying his movers did not take the dresser! Why would I lie about having the dresser and then not getting it fixed?! What sense does that make?! I truly believe he had his movers take my dresser then discard of it because MY DRESSER WENT MISSING IN THIN AIR! He only wants to give me the loss percentage his company pays out for damaged or lost items. The percentage per pound is an absolute scam! This was my first time using a moving company and I'm so disappointed about my experience. I Understand the long hours and the bill but I did not understand is why they wanted me to pay them and my stuff was still on the truck and they weren't going to unload it until in the morning . Marco worked with me over the phone and discussed all the variables involved in detail and explained the process and fees associated. The prices were extremely fair and confirmed the move. On the day before the move Marco once again confirmed the move and on the morning of the move they called to advise us they were on their way. They arrived on time and brought the larger truck as I had ordered since we have extra "stuff" with all my children. We had boxed everything ahead of time and had most of it in garage but not all. They had the garage loaded in about 20 minutes. I was amazed at how quickly and delicately they got our washer and dryer from upstairs down to the truck. Everything was loaded in under 2 hours as Marco had suggested in the quote. The movers made it to the new house without incident and were quick actually beating us in our cars. They got everything moved into the new house without any issues and couldn't have been nicer and more efficient. They wrapped the items needing it and taped up drawers etc... I'm sorry I do not remember the names of the crew that did the move but they busted their butts with all our "stuff" and handled everything as promised... thank you Marco and your staff!! We will use them in the future and I highly recommend them after our experience.

They had one young guy named ARMANDO and two old men and one with a handicap. The young one in charge ARMANDO has the biggest attitude problem and wanted to argue with me and make smart remarks. He has an issue because I called and complained about his attitude to the office, so he further displayed one. His attitude changed once he saw there was men around and that I was a female on her own. After I complained, the office kindly stopped answering the phone. Before moving day, they had the opportunity to assess the size of our home and determine what equipment would be needed. Despite that, they arrived with a truck that was too small to complete the move. Instead of having a second truck available, a large portion of our day was spent searching for a U-Haul. The U-Haul they eventually rented was also too small, and the movers repeatedly pressured my husband to transport our belongings in our personal van because they didn't have enough room. What should have been a one-day move turned into a two-day move because AB failed to arrive properly equipped. The problems didn't end there. The movers lost the hardware needed to reassemble our refrigerator, leaving it unusable until the end of the second day. As a result, the refrigerated and frozen food we had carefully packed in coolers spoiled. We submitted receipts documenting our loss. Our Lovesac AnyTable was gouged and chipped during the move, and numerous other items were scratched or damaged. Instead of placing boxes and furniture into the correct rooms as we paid for, many rooms were simply filled with random stacks of belongings. Even worse, the garage was used as a dumping area, with heavy boxes, furniture, and miscellaneous items piled together. We have had to move many of those items ourselves just to unpack and determine what else may have been damaged. After I submitted a formal claim, AB did send a representative to inspect the refrigerator and the other damage. He looked everything over, told us the necessary refrigerator parts would be ordered, and made it seem as though he would be back the following week to complete the repairs. That was more than two weeks ago. Since then, we have repeatedly called, left messages, sent additional photos, and provided everything they requested. We have received virtually no communication, our calls have not been returned, and we have since learned the refrigerator parts were lost. We were never proactively informed of that or given a timeline for resolving the issue. Mistakes can happen during any move. What has been the most disappointing is the lack of accountability, communication, and follow-through. We paid for professional movers so we wouldn't have to finish the job ourselves or spend weeks chasing the company to honor its commitments. At this point, I cannot recommend AB based on our experience. I sincerely hope they will finally complete the repairs, resolve our claim, and stand behind the service they promised.

I contracted Out of the Box Moving and requested a 2-man team to move a 3 bedroom house. Donald and his colleague were efficient between moving out of my old house into my new house. They took care of the cushioning and wrapping for certain items such as the sofa, dining table top, and filing cabinet to prevent damage during transport.
