my office needed a new kitchen counter and cabinets. Picasso had beautiful counters and gray cabinets with self closing pulls. Frank also told us where to buy drawer pulls with lots of selections and low prices. They finished the job in two days. read more

No project at home is too small to think that things won't go wrong - because inevitably, things do! We "thought" we had selected the Crema Marfil granite counter tops that we wanted to accompany a shower that we recently re-did but when it came in, it looked nothing like the sample we had seen a few short weeks before. Sure enough, it wasn't. Our subcontractor cut the wrong piece and either tried to pass it off as Crema Marfil or he really didn't know what Crema Marfil was supposed to look like. Our General Contractor (who was fantastic btw) suggested that we start looking at stone in the area to see what was available and to confirm if we still liked the Crema Marfil. One of the vendors that he asked us to check out was Picasso which specializes in pre-fabricated granite countertops. Since our needs were straight forward, we just needed to find a stone that matched our flooring and crema marfil tile that we just installed in a nearby shower. The choices here were great and very easy to rule out the one's we didn't like and focus on the one's we did. We found two slabs that we really liked and with Ricki and Jimmy's help, we were able to select the one that we ultimately wanted to purchase. Once you select a slab, they won't let you pull it out unless it is paid for in full. They will help you flip through to choose a pattern that best suits your needs but they will not pull it out completely for you to look at. This is completely understandable because if the piece breaks, it's ruined. The less they handle, the less of a chance they get damaged. The piece we selected was the Colonial Cream and we could not be happier. The granite was finally installed just yesterday and it looks fantastic. We are more than pleased with our choice. The best thing - we paid less in fabrication costs because most of the work was already done. Score! A huge shout out to Jimmy and Ricki for providing excellent customer service while we were there. We will be back when we are ready to tackle other projects in the house. Can't wait! read more

They are a great business! I bought cabinets and countertops in 2010 and had a problem with the drawer glides recently. Literally 4 drawers would not close or open without a struggle. I called them up and they were more than happy to give me new drawer glides for FREE ! They were so pleasant and accommodating. It's rare when a business won't charge you after 12 years when you go back for help. An outstanding experience. They stand behind their work and the product. Thank you, Frank !!! read more

After looking at about a million granite yards and cabinet suppliers we found perfect shade of dark green granite at Picasso with prefab pieces at a fair price! They were super helpful showing us the selections in the warehouse and giving me a quote based on my sketches. I turned the estimate over to my general contractor and let them work directly on the measurements and installation. The final product is beautiful! read more

Incredibly disappointed in the lack of professionalism of this company. We had multiple issues with the installation/delivery of the cabinets and counter top with this company during our kitchen remodel. I totally understand that issues do arise but from start to finish working with them was a nightmare. Every single time someone was supposed to meet us or come to our house they were late. The counter top installers were supposed to be there at 9 am but showed up after 5 pm. Danielle who was in charge of scheduling completely dropped the ball and misinformed me on multiple occasions. Her boss Diane was even worse to work with. She was incredibly disrespectful on the phone and showed no sense or responsibility for her team. The cabinets/counter tops were installed to low to fit our dishwasher so if when we have an issue with it we will have to pull up and replace the floor in front of the dishwasher. I brought this up to them and they didn't even return my phone calls. A cabinet came broken and I had to call over 15 times to get it replaced and installed. Of course the day after it was installed after harassing them constantly they called for payment. Do yourself a favor and don't choose this company. SERIOUSLY. You will regret it. read more

We needed new cabinets, sinks, granite in our two upstairs bathrooms and selected Picasso based upon the recommendation of a neighbor. They did a great job for us working fast and clean at a reasonable price. Our sales rep, Mason, and the owner-supt., Frank, we're wonderful. They worked with us in every imaginable way and did everything they promised. I think the whole job was done in a couple of weeks without any hassle whatsoever. Highly recommended! read more

Seemed reputable at first. We negotiated a price on a off cut item. Once we had it loaded and all set he decided he wanted to charge an extra 50 dollars. Very dishonest approach to business. I can't imagine ever working with this store again. BEWARE of dishonesty here read more

Wow. What an awful experience I had with this company. After calling many times and trying to hunt down Hector-Project Manager. He completely dropped the ball in the middle of our potential job. He had someone come to my condo to take a look at it-COMPLETELY failed to take the correct measurements, and sent me a rushed quote. When I called back to tell him we were missing some more information, he asked for the measurements. After giving him that, he said he would send me an email. I kept calling, as it was time sensitive, and he said he was sending it after hanging up. HE NEVER DID. What a complete waste of my time. It looks like they are too busy to care about potential new customers. What a shame. read more

I'd rate the granite an 'A'. It looks very nice. The installers did a good job, with good attention to detail and the install went well except for one error which was rectified quickly. The granite was dry cut and the dust made a big mess both inside and outside. But that is probably normal on any granite job. I just wasn't expecting it and the resulting clean up I had to do. However, I'm disappointed with the cabs and would only rate them a 'D'. They look nice, but the wood is too soft and the hinges only secured with one small screw. One hinge pulled loose a few days after the install, which they fixed. Now a few other hinge (screws) are starting to pull out of the wood, less than 6 months later. Also, the frame edges dent quite easily if accidentally bumped while removing a dish or pan. This is in a household with 2 adults who don't use the kitchen heavily. In a home with kids, these cabs would likely be trashed within a year. I realize this isn't top end stuff, but one should be able to use the cabs without fear of damaging them. Instead of a trendy, marginally useful feature like soft-close drawers, I'd rather see better quality wood and hinges being used. read more

These guys have a HUGE selection of cabinets and granite!! I've gone to literally every slab yard and cabinet seller in town and I really like their selection and prices. We're working on two kitchens and I ended up doing the upstairs kitchen with a granite from here and it looks great! They have a nice sink selection as well. Given the lack of sales associates around to help you, I'd give them 4 stars but I decided on 5 just because the guys in the back of the warehouse are so friendly and helpful, they get 5!!! read more

Great prices, super friendly and great with communication. Felt like a "family business", although I don't know if it is. We got prefab granite countertops put in by them and it looks fantastic. I would definitely use them again! read more

I needed to get a prefabbed granite countertop and some granite backsplashes for a bathroom remodel. After getting the run around and terribly rude service from Rainbow stone I tried Picasso. Not only were they cheaper than Rainbow but they actually treated me like a valued customer. Brenda was very polite on the phone and even nicer in person. I had to special order my countertop since I wanted square edging and also because I needed two additional backsplashes for accents. My project was at a stand still until I could get the backsplashes and I didn't want to wait the extra days for my order to come in. The office manager Amy gave me two matching backsplashes they had in stock so I could move forward while we waited for my special order to come in. Absolutely splendid service and great prices! My new "go to" for granite. Thank you Brenda and Amy, and thank you Picasso. read more

Outstanding customer service. I was trying to get a small piece of mostly finished granite for our wood block kitchen cart; in other words, a really small job. Manny at Picasso was extraordinarily helpful. I visited there a couple times and was not able to find what I was looking for. Finally on the third visit, Manny was able to get me one of their display pieces which was the perfect size for our small cart. Manny went over and beyond to help a customer with a really really small job; the helpful attitude was simply amazing. I called several other places and did not even bother visiting based on the mostly indifferent responses I received over the phone. Picasso Cabinet worked wonders, and Manny especially, was most extraordinary in his level of customer service! read more

Do yourself a favor don't use this company. Go across the street they're more affordable and reliable. Picasso messed up my orders and took an extra 2 weeks to receive them. They also sent the wrong parts and shorted us. Waste of time and money what a joke read more

I was looking for a slab of quartz with an extra backsplash and I had limited time to get it. I worked with Manny and he was great. Quality of cabinets is great... with that being said... if you are doing cabinets without a contractor like we were I'd recommend going somewhere else. Although we had 2 measurement appointments once by an employee the other by the manager, neither of them accounted for the stove door needing to open and close without rubbing against the cabinets next to it. We had to purchase a smaller cabinet in addition to the cabinet that was too big. Picasso said we are liable for the cabinets once they order them... but why do I need 2 people to come out and get measurements if your not responsible for anything. H cabinets across the way carries cabinets in stock and although the service isn't the best at least you won't be disappointed and are able to DIY without any worries. read more

I was ready to order cabinets and my husband and son went in to talk to Dawn with some final questions. She was rude and condescending when he asked if they were soft closing. Important question You would think. She Responded with "I just saw it close softly". After a few more rude answers, standoffish and feeling like they bothered her, they left. Im sure if Dawn were spending $15,000 on her kitchen she might have a few questions as well. Well you lost our business Picasso because of her. Customer service matters it's not that difficult. read more

Dawn apparently the manager was extremely rude when I went in with questions for my kitchen remodel. Very condescending when asking questions and I felt like a bother. Our Granite contractor Jose recommended Picasso, and having dealt with other who do not deserve mention here, We must say we are very pleased. From Design with Darlyn to meticulous site measurements with Hector, to assembly and loading with Paul we would never deal with any other company for Granite and Cabinets.Amy mad sure when we picked up our order that it was exactly what we wanted and they said one of the cabinet doors arrived cracked so they would replace it with a matching door at no charge. they also custom sized two cabinets 3/4 of an inch to fit our size at no extra charge. What service. Go elsewhere and take your chances, assemble yourself and welcome to your nightmare. nnedless to say the cabinets installed quickly and saved us a ton of hourly costs since they were already assembled and we didn't have to pay for someone to assemble them in our home under less than ideal condition and if you lose a screw or small part you are stuck. Highly recommend all the good folks at Picasso Cabinet. We bought our beautiful Granite there also. read more

I was looking for a remnant to create a granite countertop for a bathroom vanity. The people at Picasso were helpful, professional, and had by far the best prices compared to the other places that I checked. Moreover (in a time when so many business owners are just looking to maximize their sales), the owner Frank suggested that since we are installing a vessel sink, we don't really need a backsplash, and if we decide we want one later, it's easy to install after the fact. His logic made sense to me and it saved me another $50 to $60. read more

A case could be made for a company's real value being defined when things go wrong. Not that it wouldn't be great to have every purchase and every installation be magnificent... it's just not likely to happen every time. So what happens when problems arise? With that in mind, I think Picasso did a really respectable job on my bathroom counter install. Their prices are really good and the materials are both attractive and durable. The install team had made a mistake on the install. It was the kind of mistake that I could not live with. Add to that the fact that no one caught it until the job was done. But my contact at Picasso, Hector, was very easy to work with. His attitude alone is worth five stars. In spite of the frustration and the extra time involved with the install, I would definitely go to them first if I were doing another counter job. read more

Bad experience ordering cabinets and granite. Customer service started out professional but quickly eroded away. The real disappointment occurred after a Picasso representative came out to do a final measurement before our order was placed. During this inspection, we agreed to make several changes based on recommendations made by the Picasso representative and our general contractor who was also onsite. This included bigger cabinets (36" - 42") and other small cosmetic changes (2 glass doors, granite support brackets, etc). Turns out that none of the changes were "processed" even though it was clear we had updated the order based on Picasso's own recommendations. They completely dropped the ball, rushed our order and then denied knowing otherwise. To top it off, staff (Hector) was very unprofessional and discourteous when trying to resolve the mix up. They ended up comping the difference in cost between 2.5" crown moulding and 4" cm but that was all they were willing to do. Our sink cabinet had to be altered because they mis-measured the dimensions and the doors were much smaller than in the original design (didn't even try to get corrected given the previous headaches). Picasso installed our granite countertops and butchered a good portion of drywall during the install and then said this butchering was standard. After all of this, I requested an itemized invoice which took nearly 2 months to receive! I do not recommend buying from Picasso. read more

I bought granite from them last year when I walked in they didn't acknowledge me and when I had questions I had to chase down employees to help me, it looks like they want customers to beg for their help. Since I was already there I decided to continue with my purchase and leave. Today nine months later I needed another countertop and decided to give them a try again thinking maybe last time was just one of those bad days they were having but I was wrong. I called and asked for one of their basic countertops in a 10' size which I know they always have in stock in 8' and they have remnants they sell to cover the 2' needed. I was told it needed to be order, I asked for another basic granite and was told the same that they didn't have it. I know for a fact that they sell remnants but still asked the lady what other options I had she responded to just order it and would take 10-14 days to arrive. Bad answer since across the street there's another countertop business where I could get it at the same or better price, why would I want to wait 10-14 days. It looks like they don't like helping customers out and their rudeness is what is making people go elsewhere. This business needs to change all their employees or teach them good customer service skills in order to stay in business. I ended buying it across the street at H Cabinets and got a good deal and all their employees try hard to accommodate the customers needs by giving them options and good prices read more

Picasso cabinets made my 2 bathroom cabinets and granite counter tops. Curtis did my cabinet. He is very professional and made my bathroom cabinet perfectly as we wanted. Thanks also to Darlyn who is very accomodating and professional handling a client without her I did not meet this excellent guys. 4 stars for picasso company because it lacks more communications that I need to call almost all the time to follow up instead of them informing me current updates regarding the project. It's been almost two weeks and I've yet to get a response to my two emails to "Manny" and the form submitted through their website. We are not happy customers due to an issue with a back splash. We requested that all three pieces - bath counter top and two new back splashes all come together from the shipping yard in Long Beach. We purchased an additional one that somehow did not get loaded onto the fabricators truck. After a phone call to find out what happened they stated they did have the second backsplash so the fabricator had to make a second trip. However, the piece they provided - while technically the same pattern - is very different. It looks like the one in the show room which we had declined. Prior to all this there was no follow up phone call to see if we were happy, okay, etc. While we did not spend big money (under 800.00) it was a long awaited project for my mom to tackle. Very disappointed and would not use this company again. read more

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! Similar to others who reviewed Picasso they started out with great customer service. Once the contract and deposit was received the tables turned. First, I have a problem with paying for a service before customer satisfaction is obtained. The granite "installers" failed to make holes in the template for the fawcett etc. My plumber stated it was the installers job and as a result I waited ONE Week without an operable kitchen. Finally, Picasso came out to fix the problem but by then I found a second plumber to complete what Picasso failed to do. The granite "installers" damaged surrounding woodwork and stated that was to be expected but I had to pay to fix this damage. Throughout this process Christine was argumentative and RUDE! I finally refused to deal with her. Hector was not rude but showed little empathy for my plight. Bottom Line: DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH PICASSO! read more

I was very satisfied with the service of the company. When we first started looking into remodeling our kitchen, their sales person Darlyn came over to our house. She measured every corner, every inch, everywhere. Then she gave us a written detailed estaimate with a layout of how our remodeled kitchen would look like. We decided to keep our current cabinets, but replace our countertops instead. We visited the Picasso location one day, and Darlyn was very patient with us as we looked at color after color. We ended up selecting a color, but unfortunately I found out that my kitchen could NOT accomodate Pre-Fabricated Granite slabs. They are made to a specific width dimension that would have required putting 2 separate pieces together to fit. It concerned me that the colors might not match so I didn't hire them to replace my countertops. Not out of poor service, but because the materials they had available wouldn't be wide enough to fit my kitchen and be a single color (I have a very wide countertop). I still highly recommend anyone to give them a visit if you are able to use pre-fabricate slabs in your kitchen. Darlyn was very professional, and very patient with us, and gave us a very detailed estimate instead of a bottom line price. It helped to have a detailed itemized estimate to figure out what exactly would cost for the work. read more
