I came here with my wife for valentines dinner. They gave all the ladies a single red rose. Everyone was very helpful from the moment we arrived. The staff was very pleasant and was able to make some accommodations and recommendations. The bartender is very sweet guy as well. The ambience is a hidden gym with romance. I'm glad we found the place. We will definitely be back.

Dessert sampler platter with lava cake, banana, foster cheesecake, and tiramisu

We had an absolutely wonderful meal. Everything was perfect from the pasta to this dessert sampler.Kseniia, our waitress was charming and very attentive. The chef, Brian, introduced himself and was open to new suggestions for meals. next time, if we order ahead of time, he will have clams, brought in fresh for linguine and clam sauce. The desserts were fabulous. We had a sampler. Everything was absolutely delicious, but especially the lava cake made fresh every day. ambience was delightful.

Excellent excellent excellent! Ate here for dinner with family, 9 of us total. There was ample parking in the shopping plaza, it had nice ambience, and very friendly service. Everything we ate was ON POINT. This is a fantastic Italian restaurant ---we are considering eating here again before we leave at the end of the week. Yes, it was THAT good. The complimentary bread and GARLIC butter was outstanding and fresh out of the oven. The puff pastry lobster bisque was divine -- 4 of us ordered it! But honestly, EVERYTHING was divine and their desserts were also of top quality--very decadent. I even got served a birthday tiramisu. The foods tasted just like the pictures look! We would highly recommend eating here if you are in the area. It exceeded all of our expectations!

Baked salmon over gnocchi

Piatti Hilton Head is not to be missed. To start we enjoyed fresh baked bread, olive oil and garlic butter complimented by Aperol Spritz and Daou from the extensive wine list. Appetizers included Cesar salad and lobster bisque topped with a light pastry. For dinner we enjoyed several selection including baked salmon, shrimp linguine and chicken with pesto pasta. For desert we shared moulton lava cake which was among the best we'd ever had. Service was great provided by a sweet Italian young lady. And ambiance was standard Italian well within expectation. Overall the food and experience were top notch, among Hilton Head's best.

Wow, wow wow! In a plaza, but don't let that deter you. First class. Terrific. Ambiance, decor, service, menus, quality dishes, reasonably priced. This place hits all the important points. We had chicken and pasta and tagliatelle with mushrooms. Absolutely fabulous!!!!!!...the bread was exquisite.

Pan seared halibut over risotto with shrimp and sweet peas in a lobster cream sauce.

The food, service and ambiance of this gourmet Italian restaurant is second to none!! The staff is so friendly and attentive and the dining experience is wonderful. My wife and I both had pan seared halibut over a bed of risotto with sweet peas and shrimp in a lobster cream sauce. The portions were so large that my wife took most of hers home. To say the food is delicious is an understatement. When you come to visit Hilton Head you MUST dine at Piatti Restaurante. You will be so happy you did!

Great service, great atmosphere and decor, and great food. Neat little hidden gem tucked away in a corner of a small strip center.

Fresh Bread

The food was AMAZING. We had Karina as our server and the service she provided was OUTSTANDING . The location and size of the restaurant were perfect . We made a reservation the morning of for that evening . From the beginning of the dinner to the end, drinks were full and food was absolutely delicious. I will be back to visit !

Dessert trio

Every plate at the table was clean. The food was amazing. The service was excellent. If you don't make the time to come to this place for dinner you are doing yourself a disservice. The sous chef (Bryan) was our server as he wanted to get feedback for the dishes and he was excellent. The Ravioli Di Aragosta is an award winning dish. The sous chef won first place for it when he was 17. We got the trio dessert platter for dessert as well. Amazing. It came with tiramisu, bananas foster cheesecake, and molten lava cake. There can't possibly be anything that comes out of the kitchen that's bad. Make the stop if you're in town you won't regret it!

Dessert sampler - perfect for a taste of everything!

We had a great experience at Piatti. The homemade pasta is definitely the star of any meal, so highly recommend. Our server was one of the chef's and was therefore very knowledgeable of the menu. While they do not have a kids menu, they are very accommodating and welcoming to kids (my kids loved it!), and could really prepare most anything. We ended our delicious meal with the sample dessert platter. Definitely recommend!

Dinner for 3 on a weeknight. Empty restaurant, but terrific food and service, both. Best Italian on Hilton Head Island.

The staff continues to impress--attentive, warm, and they actually remembered us, which made the experience feel even more special. We even saw the young gentleman from Croatia again who had taken care of us on a previous visit--he was just as pleasant and even stopped by our table to say hello, which was such a nice touch. We dined later in the evening this time, and it was really special to see the staff, managers, and I believe even the owner all still there together. It felt less like coworkers and more like a family--which says a lot about a place. Food-wise, everything held up to our first visit (which is rare!). I couldn't resist and ordered the beef bourguignon again--still absolutely incredible. We also had escargot (note: it comes with béchamel unless you ask otherwise), and that amazing cassoulet loaded with different meats from the evening--it was spectacular. Safe to say this place is officially our favorite on the island... and yes, I'm still tempted to keep it a secret .

Lots on the menu, but the Oscar goes to Travel Tip: Order SOUPE A L'OIGabNON. Always, the service is best in Hilton Head. Always, the kitchen is among best in Hilton Head.

There are always fresh seafood specials, and they are always good. That's why you have to make a reservation to dine here ... it's always crowded. We enjoy the bar as well (imagine that). It is situated in a beautiful space under the trees and white lights adorn the exterior. When you approach the entrance, there are outdoor diners, enjoying themselves and when you enter, you can take a left into a very cozy bar area in its own building to the left. If you turn right, it will take you to the hostess stand and the traditional dining room. On the first evening, we enjoyed sitting at the bar. The bartenders are extremely busy yet make you feel welcome and know their menu and drinks very well. The service was exceptional, as was the food. We enjoyed a salad with mahi and delicious cocktails, and wine selection. On our second visit, we sat in the main dining room. This was as enjoyable as the bar, but a little bit more private. The server was well-versed in the menu and was able to provide helpful suggestions. The meal was well timed and the service was exceptional from all staff. We enjoyed the duck and the triple tail/scallops. I also had a cup of sheet crab soup and found it to be the best version on the island. While this restaurant is not cheap, it is extremely well priced for the quality of the food and the sides and salad that a company most dishes. I'm looking forward to returning to Hilton Head specifically to eat here. What an enjoyable experience!

This was the most expensive meal of the week at over $200 for a Jamaican chicken sandwich, bbq chicken sandwich, 2 orders of shrimp tacos, and 2 appetizers. Let's start the atmosphere was pretty nice. They had live music but not loud enough for the entire restaurant. Now to the food: I had the Jamaican Chicken sandwich and tater tots. It came out on a huge bun and I was thinking man this is going to be a huge sandwich. Nope. Over half the sandwich was nothing but bread. The chicken was like 1 chicken tenders size basically. Hey the tater tots were good. My daughters had the shrimp tacos. Comes with 2 tacos, they were very good My wife had the bbq chicken sandwich and tater tots. She said it was good but nothing special. The appetizer was shrimp cocktail which was good and the dip trio. Your basic bar food dip trip. We had a few drinks and they were average at best. We had to ask for a shot to go along with the daiquiri because we were pretty sure we got a virgin. Overall not a good experience and the $20 parking fee blew my mind, atleast reimburse or give a free appetizer to compensate. For tourist we don't necessarily know there is free parking elsewhere and the people didn't even mention it.
