The people who work there are never very friendly, and they talk to people like they're stupid. When I have been in the waiting room waiting for mother, I hear the way they speak to people, and it's unprofessional. Today, I had to drop off a sample for my mother, and the woman at the front desk seemed very put off that she didn't come herself, I was given an attitude about it. When I was dropping off the sample in the back, one of the phlebotomists screeched at me: YOU HAVE TO CHECK THAT IN!! YOU CANNOT JUST LEAVE IT!! I was not sure if she was talking to me, so I turned around and she screeched at me again. I sort of laughed and said: yes, I know. That is why I am waiting here for the tech to take the specimen from me. As I walked out, I said: I think you all need to stop drinking coffee because you're wound up way too tight. I just hope I can get my mother's doctor to send her to Quest next time because they are friendly there. Never had an issue.

My 93-year-old mother arrived 10 minutes early this morning for her 8:15 AM appointment. Early. With timestamped proof. But the front desk staff confidently, and incorrectly, declared she was "extremely late." Bold move, considering their computers apparently exist purely for decoration. When we tried to show them the evidence, they gave the universal "I don't get paid enough for this" eye roll and refused to even look. Facts? Evidence? Reality? Absolutely not. Not on their watch. Then, because nothing says "we messed up" like doubling down on arrogance, they made her wait 1 hour and 15 minutes as punishment for their mistake. A 93-year-old. Sitting. Waiting. Because staff couldn't be bothered to admit they were wrong. If you enjoy chaos, incorrect accusations, and customer service so bad it could be used in training videos labeled "Never Do This," this is your place. If not, consider literally any other LabCorp, or honestly, a dartboard and a home blood draw kit might be more accurate.

Literally, like one minute after checking in and sitting down I was called up by the assistant at 1:45 p.m. exactly. Gave them my order. They immediately instructed me to come into the back and get my labs done; urine and blood for annual physical. Nurse did a good job didn't hurt or have any after soreness. I was done and out by 1:53 p.m. No complaints on my visit. Easy, free parking also. Plan ahead make appointment if no hurry. Fill out the insurance info they request from you ahead of time. Bring your orders. Use the Kiosk and they text you when they're ready to see you so you can walk around or sit in your car if extremely busy.

This place was bad…read more I am assuming they are short staffed? But this review is solely on my own experience. They have no windows for appointments, fully booked for the whole week. They should've started turning walk-ins away, because it just made everyone and myself more angry. I had come in for a lab order given to me THAT Monday morning for a pre-op labs for a surgery I was going to have on Thursday. The week was fully booked out. So, I arrive as a walk in. People are complaining the whole time, and I just ignore it because I'm a patient person. An hour and a half later, some old guy comes out and tells "THREE HOURS I WAITED. THREE HOURS!" I immediately think what?! So I go in and ask them how many people are before me. Of course they have attitude, then tell me I have 17 PEOPLE ahead of me and that doesn't include appointments. Once appointments show up then wait list gets pushed down. Mind you this point it is 12:30pm AND they close at 2:00pm. Mathematically, it doesn't make sense if there are 17 people before me (not including appointments) and lord knows how many people behind me to say you are going to get to all of us by 2:00pm? There was no customer service or care quality here. They should have started referring people to go to other locations or start turning people away, instead of having us waste our entire day waiting. Not only that, there were no more seats. Inside was packed and the picture attached is outside with not enough chairs for older folks and people with pre-existing health conditions. I could not stay because I had an interview and was leaving for a work trip that same day. I did my labs in my destination city for work and NO WAIT. Hospitable and everything I had hoped my own lab corp in my city would be. Not coming back, sorry.

I'm giving this Quest Diagnostics location on San Bernardino Rd in Covina five stars. I've been…read morehere more than ten times at this point, and honestly my experiences have consistently been smooth and efficient despite what some of the other reviews say. I think timing really matters here. I never come in for fasting labs and I almost always book afternoon appointments, which I suspect avoids the morning rush. Most of the time I'm able to get a next day appointment, and today I even got a same day slot, so it's hard for me to complain when the scheduling has been that convenient. The phlebotomist experience can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes they're chatty and friendly, other times it feels very quiet and strictly by the book. That doesn't bother me though. I'm not there to make friends, and as a healthcare worker myself I get that they see a high volume of people and need to keep things moving. They're always clear and thorough with instructions, which I actually appreciate, especially since I'm not the biggest fan of blood draws on myself. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it doesn't, but overall the process is quick and professional. The online check in system is a huge plus. It can feel a little tedious since they ask for a lot of information, and I'll probably just make an account to make it easier next time, but once you get the text and check in on your phone, you don't even need to use the kiosk. Even when my name didn't show up on the waiting screen, I was still the next person called. This location is super convenient to my home, the care feels standard and solid, and even when I've had to cancel appointments it's never been a big issue. For me, this place does exactly what it needs to do, and it does it well.
