I've gone here several times and have always had a wonderful experience. Today, Frances, went above and beyond with helping me get my labs. Some things changed with my doctor and I needed my blood work done asap. For some reason, my doctor's office always says they sent my urinalysis paperwork over to Quest with my blood work but it never comes through; only my blood work does. Must be the way my doctor's office submits the forms. But anyway, I was scrambling to figure out why and Frances walked me through my health portal to download the orders and had me email her my forms while she help the next patient. So between being a one woman show today at Quest and helping the other patients who were scheduled after me, she artfully multi-tasked helping them and also making sure I got all of my labs done today so I didn't have to come back. Thank you Frances! I really appreciate your extra effort today in helping me. read more

I just went in as a walk in, no one was inside and I hear the nurses joking about "not taking me" and "taking her sweet ass time". Go anywhere else but here. I was waiting for over 40 minutes and 2 appointments came in and I was on standby waiting for nothing. Absolutely useless people work here given how complacent everyone was with not attending me. read more

Staff is extremely slow paced & unhappy. they are rude to all the patients and when you have a question for them, the staff acts like they don't work there and only respond back with "i don't know" . very unhappy with the quality of work pace as well as customer service to the patients . read more

Absolute worst service. They could not be more slow. The walk-in system is a total joke. They do not fit them in between appointments, they make them wait until appointments are finished. This used to be my favorite lab, but never again. Going to la corp from now on. read more

Quest has changed over the last few years and definitely become self service at check in which after sitting and watching while waiting I have noticed a lot of frustration especially from less tech savvy population and the techs pop in and out so quickly and look annoyed when asked for help in my opinion there should be a check in employee like they used to have to make this a less stressful experience for some. I personally checked in via the confirmation text they sent me, it took seconds and worked seamlessly however it's not this was for the people that check in at the location. Also I recommend making an appointment or you can be waiting hours, they have basically done away with being able to squeeze in walk ins, I heard the employee say it's a very long wait because they have scheduled appointments every 10 minutes and sometimes there is only one worker. These employees are run ragged and it's not their fault that Quest is under staffing. As for my appointment, I was called back within 10 minutes of my appointment after I checked in online and it was quick and easy, the phlebotomist was professional, fast and nice and I was back out the door. My take away if you plan on coming is make an appointment to save yourself hours and don't forget your doctors order! read more

I have been here twice as a walk in within the last month. I can say I like this one better than the Diamond Bar one. At first I got confused with the location because it is next to a hospital but it was easy to figure out. I have had had experiences like other reviews have mentioned (long wait times even with appointment). Although those bad experiences have not been here I understand the frustration because the wait time is the one thing I dread when requiring blood work. However, I have came around 2pm each time I have needed blood work that did not require me to fast and I have been in and out within 10 minutes. I do not make appointments I just walk in. It seems that 2pm is a good time if you need blood work without fasting. Each worker I have come in contact with is nice and gets the job done. Yes they take walk ins, however, be prepared to wait. I went in at 650am. They open at 7am. TWO ladies working. I check in. Only me and another lady there waiting who is also a walk in. You would think they would call us in because there is nobody else there. Nope. 20 minutes later first appoint comes and they take them. Could have been done with our labs in time we waited! I'm taking part in a research study. My phlebotomist was very nice and patient as we worked together to get everything together for the box I was given. My appointment was at 10 and I was seen on time. The check in process was easy. I just had to scan my ID and insurance card. I will not hesitate to use this location again. read more

I was told that I was lucky to get my blood work done today this location is only allowed to take appointments only. I will be changing to labcorp for my blood work. 1. No signage on outside of building. 2. No signage in the interior of building. 3. No receptionist. No human help anywhere. 4. Only 1 sign-in kiosk, which wasn't working properly. (QR code scanner was broken.) 5. Spent 5-7 minutes behind someone trying to get the kiosk to work. They ended up leaving angry. 6. Because there is only 1 kiosk, waiting for it made me late (by literally 1 minute). That meant my appointment was canceled. 7. Tried calling the phone number listed on the kiosk to appeal and no one answered.a 8. Like the people in front of me, I ended up leaving angry. Of course, my insurance only uses Quest, which means they have no incentive to get better. read more

Went about 2 months ago but didn't follow through. I got to my appointment early and was the only one there at first. The wait took about 20 minutes and I couldn't speak to anyone since it's self service. No one came out and when they did it, another lady showed up and asked them a question. This company needs to actually spend more money so they can get a better rating. The people that work there are experts ( they truly are amazing at what they do) and they should not have to deal with computer issues or secretarial issues. You don't even have a person running the front desk - it's boarded up. You are greeted by a screen. They have an intake system that doesn't always work. The workers are expected to fix it in between the 10 minutes they have for each person. That's crazy. I'm not impressed and I'm going to be telling my insurance as well. Those poor workers have to deal with way too much and obviously the company only cares about the bottle line. It could be made a great experience for the patient and the workers there just by having a person at the window. The workers get five stars, and the company that they work for get 1 star for having a reminder phone system. Just don't expect the check-in system to always work. read more

Lizeth in Room #2 is amazing! My appointment was today, Mon 10/3/22 at 9:30am. I was called in within 5 minutes of waiting! I scheduled my appointment the night before and received text messages regarding my appt right away. The next morning, Quest sent me a text to check-in online once I'm at the location. Once checked in, the website directed me to go to the waiting area on the 2nd floor. Definitely the best experience I've had with Quest since 2012. As a "walk in" I realize there would be a wait but he treated me with such disregard, he needs another line of work, definitely should now be working with the public. My 4 yr old needs annual CBC & since we switched insurance, we needed to get it done. His physician requested Quest so I decided to try it out. I haven't used Quest in a long time since getting any bloodwork done is usually corresponded with a long wait time. We made an appt for 8:15 just to be safe. I brought books, water, stuffed animal and a ice pack just to be prepared. We get there and there's only 2 other people ahead of me. I scanned my code and waited for my 8:15 appt. I was there by 8 am. They promptly called me in at 8:15. I was in and out in 5 minutes. My little one didn't even need an ice pack. A Where's Waldo was enough for him. Quest is located on the 2nd floor of the building. The entire building was practically empty by the time we left. If you go in from Covina Blvd, turn to your left. The building is on the far left side of the campus. LabCorp is on the other side (in case you don't know which one is which). read more

DO NOT show up without an appointment! And, if you show up with an appointment, don't expect to be seen on time. I was on standby for 3 HOURS. I asked one of the workers if they could update their stand-by list. She said it was up to date and that they work in the people from the standby list if someone doesn't show up for their appointment. This was a bold face LIE. There were 6 people on standby since 8 am when I arrived, and the list never changed. Furthermore, there were at least three names called where nobody responded. Yet they didn't call anyone from the standby list. I know this because the people who were there before me, who were also on standby, had given up and left. One lady with an appointment was upset that she wasn't seen on time, so she told the worker to cancel her appointment, and she left. Again, nobody was called from the standby list. This place is a mismanaged disappointment, and the staff clearly don't care about customer service or Quest Diagnostics customers. DO BETTER QUEST DIAGNOSTICS! DO BETTER! read more

This place is a real nightmare. The phlebotomists give wrong information. The phlebotomist I saw the day before told me to return to drop off a sample and join the walk-in list. I checked in as a walk-in like she instructed and waited for hours. When I finally asked one of the phlebotomists about dropping off the sample, she said I needed to have made an appointment. She said that they schedule patients every 10 minutes, and only take walk-ins if there's a cancellation. So, THERE IS NO WALK-in system that makes sense. Who knows which phlebotomist knows the correct information. Each one says something different. Apparently, There is no way to just drop off a sample without making an appointment or joining a walk-in list and waiting for hours. But, this information should be clear either on the website, or given by the phlebotomist. This is a terrible system. I was number 3 on the walk-in list for two hours. I left after two hours and could not leave my sample. I will never return to this location. I do not recommend that anyone come this location if they expect to be treated with respect and dignity. This is not a patient friendly or patient service oriented location! Do NOT go to this San Dimas location!!!! read more

Took my 10 month old daughter in for blood work, Ofcourse she had no idea what was about to happen BUT I was a nervous wreck! I made an appointment and service was super fast, Reina introduced herself and she was very nice. Simon came in to help hold my daughter's arm and they both were just amazing! My baby didn't CRY!! Getting blood drawn here has been painless. I have had to have blood tests drawn every month for past 3 months. HOWEVER, recently the woman behind the desk has 1) Asked me to pay balance for that days blood draw IN ADVANCE before billing my insurance (which pays for 99%) of cost. 2) Brings up last bill due of $2.00 (Yes, that's right Two Dollars) which I had just received from Quest, and tried to get me to pay before they would draw blood. I explained that my husband pays all co-pays out of his medical savings from work. She then proceeds to tell me that "in the future I had better be prepared to pay up front." REALLY!!!!! I came for an appointment. I had the doctors order on an email with a QR code. Even though I had a real order, the girl at the front desk said she wouldn't accept it and that I needed to print it out or have it faxed by the doctor. She said I have to contact the doctor on my own time. I couldn't get a hold of my doctor because she busy during this pandemic and had to leave for work. I found out later that Quest is supposed to contact the doctor first if they have any order issues. I don't see why she wouldn't accept an email order with a code and doctor's signature. I got the feeling she didn't want to help me and possibly do extra work to view my order. I even said I'd email it to her. She said no. I found out that other locations take the email form. I won't be coming back to this place. So if you need to go to this place and have an order on your phone, don't let them try to lie to you and tell you it's not valid. They DO accept it.
