Booked appointment two weeks ahead using site. Appointment on a Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. They close at 2:00 p.m. Walked in at 1:40 p.m. checked in using the Kiosk. Literally, like one minute after checking in and sitting down I was called up by the assistant at 1:45 p.m. exactly. Gave them my order. They immediately instructed me to come into the back and get my labs done; urine and blood for annual physical. Nurse did a good job didn't hurt or have any after soreness. I was done and out by 1:53 p.m. No complaints on my visit. Easy, free parking also. Plan ahead make appointment if no hurry. Fill out the insurance info they request from you ahead of time. Bring your orders. Use the Kiosk and they text you when they're ready to see you so you can walk around or sit in your car if extremely busy. read more

This place was bad. I am assuming they are short staffed? But this review is solely on my own experience. They have no windows for appointments, fully booked for the whole week. They should've started turning walk-ins away, because it just made everyone and myself more angry. I had come in for a lab order given to me THAT Monday morning for a pre-op labs for a surgery I was going to have on Thursday. The week was fully booked out. So, I arrive as a walk in. People are complaining the whole time, and I just ignore it because I'm a patient person. An hour and a half later, some old guy comes out and tells "THREE HOURS I WAITED. THREE HOURS!" I immediately think what?! So I go in and ask them how many people are before me. Of course they have attitude, then tell me I have 17 PEOPLE ahead of me and that doesn't include appointments. Once appointments show up then wait list gets pushed down. Mind you this point it is 12:30pm AND they close at 2:00pm. Mathematically, it doesn't make sense if there are 17 people before me (not including appointments) and lord knows how many people behind me to say you are going to get to all of us by 2:00pm? There was no customer service or care quality here. They should have started referring people to go to other locations or start turning people away, instead of having us waste our entire day waiting. Not only that, there were no more seats. Inside was packed and the picture attached is outside with not enough chairs for older folks and people with pre-existing health conditions. I could not stay because I had an interview and was leaving for a work trip that same day. I did my labs in my destination city for work and NO WAIT. Place doesn't even have the decency to reschedule appointments when they decide to close on a working day. Had an appointment at 7am just to show up to a sign saying they're closed. No emails, no notifications. Just waking up and wasting time and gas for nothing. If they didn't notify me, I'm assuming they didn't notify anyone else that took PTO to get their lab work done later in the day. Being Monday I thought (my bad) and only saw Thursday appt. Showed up today...packed again...only to find out a simple blood draw appt. was not this Thursday but but the following Thursday...10 days booking lead time for simple blood draw. We didn't have an appointment but were seen in less than 10 minutes after check-in at kiosk. We had a "fasting" Blood Draw as well, and were in and out in less than 3 minutes. We did a Walk-in, because no appointments were avail able on-line, but still were in and out quickly, despite over half the lobby filled upon arrival. Lines were out the hallway, completely packed. Should have a few more check in tablets, sometimes people take long. Always make an appointment, someone said they had been waiting for over 2 hours as a walk in. Older ladies in the back were kinda rude and made me feel bad about instead of explaining nicely they pretty much got mad.. maybe the office should give out information to prepare for your visit so these viejas don't get mad. Wow. I was a walk-in for a fasting blood test at 8:12. Walked out, test completed, at 8:25. The check-in process was easy, receptionists pleasant, and the lab tech, Lexi, just awesome. I took a fecal specimen into this facility for my wife. It was properly placed in the sealed envelope with all the associated paperwork. The woman behind the desk, that I've had interactions with before, refused to accept the envelope. I was in rush and all I wanted to do was give her the envelope but she insisted I check in first and sit and wait for my name to be called. I told her that all I wanted her to do was do whatever she would normally do if I spent the time checking in, and that would be to take it out of my hand and send it for processing. She refused to do that so, being in a rush, I left it on the desk top. She then THREW IT IN THE TRASH, so we never received any results. I'm sure I am not the only person to have poor service from this one woman. I'm sure everyone knows who this woman is. She has very poor communication skills with her customers. read more

I was there recently and the receptionist needs to get a heart and a new job! A grandmother said her 10ish year old grand son was pale a feeling faint after a blood draw he received there. The receptionist said the only thing we can do is call 911. The grandmother wanted to if she speak to the phlebotomist and asked her to go get her...the receptionist just sat there. Finally the grandmother rolled her eyes and went back on her own. Geez! If you cannot be responsible for your patients after you draw their blood- get out of the business!!!! The phlebotomist took him back and gave him water, but the grandma asked those of us in the lobby if anyone had a piece of gum or a piece of candy... can't Labcorp provide any of that???? I got to the place at open time at 7a. Unfortunately, I still didn't get seen until 10:15 am. They only had one person registering patients and 2 phlebotomist. Also the wait set up is horrible. No space for waiting. Only like 4 chairs then a small room down the hall that allows maybe like 6 others. Then the rest of people just line up down the hallway. Not practical. It's tiny, but I've had good luck with this place. I've managed to skate in here with my friend and have happy people behind the counter. And there is either no people waiting or just a couple in front of her. Soooo, "YES" easy in and easy out.. Same with the needle...Easy in and easy out. Could say that for the blood too. So I noticed a lot of reviewers talking about how bad the customer service is. This is very true lol. They hardly make eye contact and act like doing their jobs is inconvenient, so they treat you this way. The phlebotomist was actually good, but the front desk lady was awful. NOT TO MENTION: I took a blood test at this location 3 weeks ago and I never got results back. The paper you get says "UP TO 14 days" and we are on day 21. The worst part is that they don't answer their phones either so I have no idea how to get my test results. DO NOT COME HERE!!! read more

While waiting for my mom to be called for lab work, I couldn't help but notice the way the receptionist was treating people! Review for the Phlebotomist Nora who has always been professional and caring whenever I've seen her for drawing blood. Nora is very experienced. She doesn't poke and prod with the needle and definitely does not insert the needle and probe for the vein (as happened to me couple of times by different Phlebotomists). Today I visited the LabCorp office in the Glendora for my annual blookwork and I was very pleased with the efficiency of how this office operates. The automated check-in process was quick and easy. The front desk employee was smiling and very attentive. Julia, the lab technician who drew my blood took very good care of me - she was focused on her work, yet engaged in light conversation...she helped me relax and made me chuckle. I knew I was in good hands. It literally took 10 minutes from the time I checked-in until I was on my way! read more

Make an appointment online or by phone. Staff is friendly. Short wait time with appointment. They take you right in. They always find my veins which is good because other places always have trouble. You get your results online within a week. Its on the 3rd floor. There is always parking. Plenty of seats inside waiting room. read more

After my experience at this LabCorp I will now be visiting a different location. Today I accompanied my father who has mobility issues and all doctor's visits and appointments require a lot of effort. We forgot the hard copy of our order so one receptionist kindly offered to look it up manually with my father's name. A second and much less kind receptionist communicated that there was no order in their system and sent us home. Before giving up I located a picture of the order on my phone but she said--"how is looking at your phone supposed to help?" I was appalled. I thought she could at last look for an order number in the picture of the order since she didn't find the order when she looked it up using my father's name. Later this morning my dad's doctor's office confirmed they had indeed sent the order. I appreciate the courtesy of other receptionists who go the extra mile for patients--especially those with disabilities-- by listening and trying to find a solution. Or at least communicate with kindness. That was not my experience here today. read more

Wow. As a general rule, I try to follow the "if you don't have anything nice to say..." guideline when it comes to Yelping. But sometimes, I feel the pull to make a PSA. Let me start with the one good thing about this office (and which warranted the one star), and that was that the phlebotomist who drew my blood did not leave any scar or unusual pain to deal with. That might be all that's important to some of you and if so, I totally get it. And you should come here if it's convenient (which is why I did). It's like going to a great doctor who employs a terrible front desk staff. What's important, right? The rest is all downhill. As other Yelpers have mentioned, it's pretty clear most of the staff working here do not see it as their "calling" (to put it nicely). For anyone in the medical field, please choose another career path if you loathe dealing with people so much. Really. PLEASE. Patients who have to use your facility are typically coming in under some unnerving circumstances...anything on the spectrum from total wuss/scared of needles kind of anxiety to...trying to uncover a possible life threatening/game changing ordeal. The last thing these folks need is to be treated as though they are being an immense bother to you. Furthermore, please learn the value of respecting individual privacy. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the staff having a very personal convo with me in front of other patients. I came here because its closest. I came here a second time...different day, different staff, same experience. I'll be traveling a bit further next time I need lab work done. read more

I was really happy with my time at labcorp. I showed up about 5 min. late. The lady was working with 2 other people. I signed in and sat down. Just a bit later she came to the window and signed me in, found my paperwork and I waited maybe 3 min. before she called me back. She was very nice and made me feel calm ( i hate needles) She said I have really small veins but she got it in one stick! Thank God! hehe It didn't hurt at all and she was fast about it. This is the best Labcorp I've ever been to. It is quite a drive for me (20 mins), but every time I go, I get in either right away, or within 5-10 minutes. I'm a "hard stick", but both of the ladies that work there always get me in one poke. Have had no problems in regards to insurance with them, and they are always very friendly and polite. I would gladly make the drive for such excellent service. read more

If I could rate this less than 1 star, I would. Front office staff is very rude and does not even help the transition from front office to back office. I was told "go sit in room 3" and I said "room 3?" So I walked through a walkway which is what I could only think was where I was supposed to go, given that she didn't even tell me what direction I was supposed to go. I sat down in this cubicle and 3 different people came to me and just peaked their head in, I was waiting for almost 10 minutes before somebody finally came over and stated "so I guess none of your information is in the system, can you write down your address, phone number and date of birth? And now there is going to be a longer wait" and then she left before I could say anything. I proceeded to write down my information and multiple other people walked past my cubicle before somebody came and said "has anybody been over here yet?" and so I handed her the clipboard and I said "I was told to write down my information" and she left. After a few minutes, somebody came and didn't even say a word or look at me. I came for a TB QuantiFERON blood test. She did not even tell me her name, thankfully I was able to get a good look at her name tag. So I watched JIMMA put her gloves on, LEAVE the draw station, step inside this closet, and then grab the test kit. She came back to the station, kept the same gloves on, after going into the closet and touching the outside of this test kit that I know for fact is not clean. She then proceeded to wrap the tourniquet not even an inch above my antecubital region. Not only was it not properly placed, it was not tight enough at all. She palpated all of my veins and I informed her that people have the best luck with my cephalic vein. She ignored me and decided she wanted to go for my basilic. She palpated again, wiped my arm clean AND THEN PALPATED AGAIN AFTER THAT which everybody who draws blood knows you never do, unless you plan on cleaning the area for a second time. After contaminating my arm with her already dirty gloves, she then went for my basilic vein and inserted the needle slower than I've ever experienced and MISSED. She went fishing inside my arm, hit my nerve and that hurt. Then somehow, she was able to finally get my vein and she said "did you drink enough water today?" and I said "yes, I've been drinking water all morning" and she really said "you must have not been because your blood flow is really slow" as if she was with me all morning when I was drinking water. She finally finished collecting the blood and said "well, hopefully that's enough to get the reading" and then she just wrapped my arm and said "we're done" and I said "ok, thank you" and she didn't say anything and then I said "have a good rest of your day" and she still said...nothing. Everybody at this place was so unorganized and so unprofessional and just flat out rude. If you live in the area, I highly recommend making a little bit of a farther drive for better service than ever coming to this horrible location. Do better. read more

This place is extremely hard to find. Address is incorrect on maps. The reception desk is also extremely rude. I have been here a few times and every time I come the front desk attitude is always the same. By the way if you have an emailed requisition, it won't suffice. They are OLD SCHOOL and need a hard copy and they don't work with email. I noticed they are especially unhelpful with the elderly, who sometimes walk in here instead of quest. Avoid coming here if possible. If I had another location near by I would not ever come to this location. read more

Today, I had to take my 1 year old son in to get his blood work done. I was terrified because I have heard so many horror stories about the technician not knowing how to work with kids, or having to poke them a million times. To my surprise, they were so good with my son and myself. Of course my son freaked out and was scared but they helped me calm him down. Yes, they had to poke him twice but they tried as hard as they could to only poke him once. Unfortunately, he has his mommy's viens. I couldn't have been more satisfied with my visit.
