If I could rate this less than 1 star, I would. Front office staff is very rude and does not even help the transition from front office to back office. I was told "go sit in room 3" and I said "room 3?" So I walked through a walkway which is what I could only think was where I was supposed to go, given that she didn't even tell me what direction I was supposed to go. I sat down in this cubicle and 3 different people came to me and just peaked their head in, I was waiting for almost 10 minutes before somebody finally came over and stated "so I guess none of your information is in the system, can you write down your address, phone number and date of birth? And now there is going to be a longer wait" and then she left before I could say anything. I proceeded to write down my information and multiple other people walked past my cubicle before somebody came and said "has anybody been over here yet?" and so I handed her the clipboard and I said "I was told to write down my information" and she left. After a few minutes, somebody came and didn't even say a word or look at me. I came for a TB QuantiFERON blood test. She did not even tell me her name, thankfully I was able to get a good look at her name tag. So I watched JIMMA put her gloves on, LEAVE the draw station, step inside this closet, and then grab the test kit. She came back to the station, kept the same gloves on, after going into the closet and touching the outside of this test kit that I know for fact is not clean. She then proceeded to wrap the tourniquet not even an inch above my antecubital region. Not only was it not properly placed, it was not tight enough at all. She palpated all of my veins and I informed her that people have the best luck with my cephalic vein. She ignored me and decided she wanted to go for my basilic. She palpated again, wiped my arm clean AND THEN PALPATED AGAIN AFTER THAT which everybody who draws blood knows you never do, unless you plan on cleaning the area for a second time. After contaminating my arm with her already dirty gloves, she then went for my basilic vein and inserted the needle slower than I've ever experienced and MISSED. She went fishing inside my arm, hit my nerve and that hurt. Then somehow, she was able to finally get my vein and she said "did you drink enough water today?" and I said "yes, I've been drinking water all morning" and she really said "you must have not been because your blood flow is really slow" as if she was with me all morning when I was drinking water. She finally finished collecting the blood and said "well, hopefully that's enough to get the reading" and then she just wrapped my arm and said "we're done" and I said "ok, thank you" and she didn't say anything and then I said "have a good rest of your day" and she still said...nothing. Everybody at this place was so unorganized and so unprofessional and just flat out rude. If you live in the area, I highly recommend making a little bit of a farther drive for better service than ever coming to this horrible location. Do better. read more

This place is extremely hard to find. Address is incorrect on maps. The reception desk is also extremely rude. I have been here a few times and every time I come the front desk attitude is always the same. By the way if you have an emailed requisition, it won't suffice. They are OLD SCHOOL and need a hard copy and they don't work with email. I noticed they are especially unhelpful with the elderly, who sometimes walk in here instead of quest. Avoid coming here if possible. If I had another location near by I would not ever come to this location. read more

Today, I had to take my 1 year old son in to get his blood work done. I was terrified because I have heard so many horror stories about the technician not knowing how to work with kids, or having to poke them a million times. To my surprise, they were so good with my son and myself. Of course my son freaked out and was scared but they helped me calm him down. Yes, they had to poke him twice but they tried as hard as they could to only poke him once. Unfortunately, he has his mommy's viens. I couldn't have been more satisfied with my visit. I've had blood work done here 3 times and I've never had a problem. The people working here are nice, and there was no problem drawing my blood. It's a very small place, I'd suggest making an appt beforehand (even though they take walk ins) because it can be a long wait. I had to wait 40 min without an appt. read more

This place is rude and impolite and you can just see the people that work here making fun of the patients. When I got here I specifically asked please use a butterfly as my veins are really small and they roll it was almost as if on purpose she took the biggest needle she could find shoved it in my arm missed the vein then pulled it out causing the blood to squirt all over the place and then said oh maybe we need to try again. I was so upset I said in the first place I asked you not to use the big needle so that didn't help I also told you my veins throw away and you paid no attention of what I said. If that had not been so busy or that I would have to go back to the doctors office to get another form for a blood request somewhere else I would have got up and left it was so horrible I do not recommend this place to anybody. This was my second worst experience in the same location I will never go back again. I'm all for second chances but this was their second chance. Moved to 210 S Grand Ave. In same parking lot in the Foothill Medical Arts bldg 3rd floor NEXT to Foothill Presbyterian hospital. I've seen the bad reviews about his place so I was hesitant to come but they are Amazing!!! Super fast, professional, and nice!!! The nurse drew my blood, filled to viles and bandaged my arm in lest then 3mins. read more

I signed in at 950am. I didn't have an appointment. They drew my blood and I walked out at 957! Best experience ever. At other locations, I've waited at least an hour. I asked my mother in law to watch my kids and told her I would be back in about an hour and a half. Now I have all this extra free time. :) Maybe I'll go shopping! I've had my blood work done here for nearly 10 years. Everyone is very professional and very good. I run on the D hydrated side and it's very hard to get blood out of me. They moved to a new location. My wife went today. She said Britney was nice but there was another girl that was disrespectedful. 15 people in the waiting room a girl walks in and is allowed to jump in front of everyone else. The labcorp employee whispers" it's okay this people are half dead anyway, they can't hear". 2 Customers called the labcorp corporate office and complained. She was very nice!but the front desk receptionist Jenny PIR, if you're going to talk down to people about their deductibles, and how much we have to pay, don't be so rude about it. Smelling your breath was bad enough. Then you proceed tell me I had to pay for my labs. Its routine labs. I never pay for those. This place is so dirty and the staff looks sloppy too. It doesn't have to be this trashy and gross. I don't know why I don't take the drive to another location but I come here since it's close to my parents home. Every time this location is closed due to power outage, no air conditioning or whatever it is. Happens quit often here in Glendora. They put a sign outside their door. They should put a sign downstairs so elderly don't have to walk a mile to the lab and find out it's closed. A walk up is a journey for a lot of people. Have some sense of courtesy! My review is a difficult one. The positive responses are put to the top of the reading list.Judging from the overall score the lab gets a very low rating. A little higher than two stars. There was a receptionist who punished me for not printing my name on the sign in sheet. She skipped me letting two other people go ahead of me. I asked her why she skipped me. She yell out at me that I did not follow her directions. The lady has the spirit of rage in her. We had words. The other ladies wore there nametags. This lady sorry to say she is the fat one. Short. Nasty person who will put a patient at risk because he made an honest mistake. I fairness the phebotimist was excellent. The others were quite and did their jobs. I won't go there again. Labcorp did not strictly follow social distance. At 75 years of age, I cannot afford laxness in this area. My experience with Labcorp at Magan clinic was a sweet dream compared with "rage lady." Uncalled for. Especially being punitive. I won't be going there again. read more

Disorganized. Asked if I could email information and I was told they had no internet connection. What business has NO internet connection these days? I had an appointment and still waited 20 minutes, I was the only client in the office. Called back next day to confirm something that was on the doctor's order, they couldn't find their copy. I'd gone to the Lab Corp office on Green St., in Pasadena and had a good experience but this didn't compare. Won't go back here if I can avoid it. On the other hand the phlebotomist was nice, and did a good job, one stick. I left the place not fully trusting that everything was in good hands, and that the orders would be handled and processed accurately. That's because there was no air of professionalism in the front office. read more

The technicians were professional enough but the front office is disorganized at best. The day after I went in, they called to say my samples were unusable and I would need to do the tests again. So I drove all the way out there and took the test again. Then, a month, later they charge me for both sets of tests! Despite my complaints that I should not have to pay for their mistake, they (LabCorp billing) turned a deaf ear and said there was nothing they could do and I would just have to pay for it. I went to complain to the Better Business Bureau and found there were already HUNDREDS of complaints like mine. (Not all in Glendora but all for Labcorp). I will never use LabCorp again. read more

Usually I love coming to Labcorp, but I had such a bad experience today. I don't like needles so most of the time I come in and the ladies are always very kind and try to distract me. But today we walked in and Jenny told us they didn't take our insurance and we had to either pay out of pocket or leave, and was not very kind about it. We left to quest down stairs to be told they didn't take our orders. So we went back up stairs to labcorp and Jenny was still at the counter. She called both my mother and I up. My mother stood there for about 5 minutes and Jenny did not say a word. She didn't say for us to sit down or head to the back, so she called me up and said to go back and my mother asked "so after you handed me the paper work I could have gone back and you just didn't tell me?" And Jenny looked very annoyed and said bluntly Yes. If I come back and Jenny is there I will probably end up going somewhere else. Very very rude. read more

I usually go to quest, but my new doctor wrote the order on a labcorp form so I went there. Wait time was ok (Thursday morning with no appointment waited about 40 min). Place was really open so there was no privacy. It was dirty, considering the techs would go from patient to patient or front desk, back and forth drawing blood or entering insurance in the computer then answer phones. There were no sinks and I never saw any one wash hands, not even once. And I saw about 20 patients come and go. They put on gloves touch everything, then get and alcohol wipe with one quick swipe "clean" the skin...then use the glove to feel for the vein...bad bad bad. So gross. And no one had me check my personal information to be sure it was correct (something I guess I got used to at quest) I will not be going to a labcorp again. Quest is much cleaner, more professional, even their website was easier to make an appointment. read more

I walked in as a walk-in patient and asked how long the wait was and the staff had informed me that it was a 20 to 30 minute wait. Since the waiting area was completely full I waited in the hallway where there was extra seating. After waiting 25 minutes I went back into the office to see if they had called my name. The front desk girl said yes that they had yelled my name really loud and that I didn't respond. I'm thinking to myself why can't they just get their behinds and pop their head into the waiting area outside and call my name are they lazy? If the policy is that you have to be in there specific waiting room why is it not posted in there. As a patient I should feel confident that you would come outside and double check to make sure that I had not left. Then they said that they don't have a copy of my insurance paperwork and it went downhill from there. I came in fasting, left with no blood drawn and annoyed of their poor customer service.
