After not coming here for several years, I feel as if I should update my review. We came on a Tuesday night around 7:30 pm. The menu looked updated as in they had pictures showing the food, which I really appreciated. There were a steady flow of people and their phone was ringing nonstop which I took in as a great sign for the shop!! We ordered the beef Pho and a grilled pork banh mi. We sat down and not 5 minutes later, our food came out. The large beef Pho was A LOT smaller of a bowl then I remembered. My hubby and I used to have to split a large but this time, we both regretted not ordering our own. The banh mi and little to no meat in it but was still very delicious. Needless to say, we left hungry when in the past we were always miserably full. I do understand business has to be a little tough with all of the construction going on so I am pretty surprised they are still in business. Inside smells like manure. The soups are not that great. I believe they use powder flavor to make there bun bo hue not with any pork meat and bones because it does not have any porky aftertaste for the bun bo hue. Came here for an early dinner with a friend. As we walked in, the person behind the register stared at us but didn't speak. We ordered and sat down. They brought us our food but still no communication from the person who delivered our food. I got the spring rolls and my friend got a pho. The old man who took our order was super disrespectful. He got our order wrong and when my husband went up to tell him he didn't apologize, he accused my husband of saying the order wrong and then started to mumble in Vietnamese and said "oh my god" with a disgruntled look on his face. I think this place probably fits people new to Pho. New to Asian food and young kids. You order at the register and they bring the food to the table. Food was fast. It was just not tasty and everything we ordered was slightly off on ingredients. I got flat noodles with beef. It had sauce but was tasteless. Beef tasted like something you would make at home. Sprouts were the main ingredient in the dish. Tons and tons of sprouts. Guest got seafood pho. Not sure if the seafood was over cooked or cheap but it was rubbery. Again the dish was editable but it lacked flavors you would normally taste in Pho. If you never had Pho, are not big into spices or want your very young kids to experience something new this might be your place. I prefer authentic and veggie-full Asian food and sometimes some Asian restaurants will skimp me on the veggies so I was concerned my first time meal here would be subpar to say the least. But EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious! My husband and daughter devoured their Pho Vegetarian and my Lo Mein was the best I've ever had. Also, I got the Lychee boba and it was fresh lychee fruit smoothie- I repeat: it was real fruit, not a flavored syrup. Yum! This is now one of our favorite places to eat. Their prices were pretty reasonable and then we walked in and we're not greeted at all. They saw us but looked as if we had walked onto private property. The service is awful. The cashier gave us looks and all the workers looked as if they hated us. I don't know what's going on. Very open and spacious layout. You order first then seat anywhere. I tried the vermicelli bun deluxe which came with all the meats:pork, beef, chicken and shrimp. Normally, I always get the pork at most places but decided to try this out. Served in cute bowl plate! It was so much food for the price! The meats were flavorful and had good amount of fish sauce. With all the cold weather, I've had an unusual craving for broth. Several weeks back I ordered a chicken rice platter through Ubereats. It was a bit above average, though the chicken was tough and chewy. The menu listed it came with broth and I was so disappointed when it was missing. The following week, I had a sore throat and decided to call in the order. I checked the menu on a different delivery site to be sure. I asked about the rice platter coming with broth and was told I don't get broth. I said 'oh, it's on the menu though' and was met with a 'nuh uh' followed by silence. Seriously? I was going to just get pho, but after the attitude, I ordered from somewhere else that day. Not impressed. Last week I decided to give them another shot. I ordered through the Yelp app and the menu seemed to be more accurate. I don't get pho often, but it suited the weather and my sinuses. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet for $8.24 and 2 chicken egg rolls for $3.75. I thought the sturdy to go bowl and separate packaging was done well. The broth was fragrant and I liked the noodles. The meat seems very low grade though, even the meatball was very tough. It was a decent portion for a small, but it would have been more enjoyable with better quality meat. The chicken egg rolls were pretty large, but not worth the price. The edges were crispy, but one of the egg rolls was flat out slimy and neither had any other flavor. I would not order this again. The price and portion are fine but the quality and attitude leave a lot to be desired. You may get a different experience, especially if you dine in. I just don't see enough from 3 meals to justify any more chances, at least for a while. read more

WOULD PUT 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE. I have been here several times before and it's pretty hot or miss on both service and food. I called tonight to put in an order for pickup and after calling 3 times. Someone actually answers the phone instead of picking it up and immediately hanging up. HE SAID "NO, WE ARE BUSY?!" ..... oh, so because you're busy you don't want my money? I have eaten here several times and had delivery also. The Chicken and Veggie Pho is my favorite. I've tried the low mein, fried rice, egg rolls and spring rolls. All were exceptionally good. Ordered dinner at this place for the first time today over the phone I'm half vietnamese I could understand 100% of what they're saying. The person on the phone asked me to wait while she was yelling at her co-workers. I'm honestly shocked to see how low the reviews are for this place. My wife and I came here after a long day at Sea Life and Legoland. We are huge fans of pho and this place is very close to that Grapevine Mills Shopping Mall. We got our orders to go since we were both ready to kick our shoes off and chow down in the comfort of our home and the food was STILL delicious by the time we ate it. The price is a tad higher than other pho places but the portion is decent and there is a decent amount of rice noodles and meat in their large bowls. We ordered their P2. Beef Filet Mignon (Pho Tai) and P13. Spicy Beef Pho (Bun Bo Hue). Both were fantastic. Maybe there are just some pho snobs in the area - but we had a wonderful time tasting and eating their food. We're both half Korean so we grew each group up on various Asian cuisine. We've been to dozens of pho places and PhoXpress is pretty darn good. And yeah. I think that gives our review a little more weight. Lol. read more

Don't know what's going on, but the last several visits have resulted in messed up/inconsistent orders and sloppiness. I order the same thing, nearly every time: chicken pho, (sometimes) no noodles, add tofu and veggies. I prefer the chicken broth, and don't mind the chicken with a TON of veggies. Sometimes I'm charged for veggies, sometimes I'm not. Sometimes I'm given tofu, sometimes I'm not (like today). Sometimes I'm given lots of chicken, today I was given two slices. Sometimes I'm given carrots, sometimes I'm not. I really don't consider my order that hard. And when I AM charged the $1.50 for tofu+veg, according to the receipt, I expect to get tofu. Also, it seems like no one but the young kid (whom I can actually understand and is patient!) wants to work there. At the register, I try to make it as simple and quick as possible - almost completely because I seriously dislike the impersonal, distracted, rude attitude they usually have. I'm ordering, enunciating and speaking clearly, please listen to me! I even repeat myself with no qualms, and I still get no eye contact and sporadic accuracy on orders. Bummer. THAT was just service. The food is going off these days. I ordered grilled pork spring rolls and they were busted open and falling apart when I went to ate them! Sloppy! Normally they're very tight and neat. Unfortunate. The broccoli has been brown the past couple times, and this time I got a weird, tough chicken rib meat piece. Not the best in Pho. Placed a togo order with uber eats. The curry pad thai had a soapy flavor. After eating about a quarter of it, i couldnt eat anymore of it. The pho broth had a hint of sweet, which didnt make sense. I haven't been here in a while, so I thought I'd give them a shot again. I wish I had better news to report. I needed to be home for a Habitat for Humanity pickup, so I decided to grab some take out. I got a grilled pork Bahn Mi and the traditional spring rolls. The spring rolls were normal, nothing special, but tasted exactly like I assumed they would. It was a little strange that they were in a to go container, but wrapped in cellophane. It felt very pre-made. I'm sure it is, but I don't want to feel like it is. Not a big deal though. The Bahn Mi was very disappointing. My first bite was fat and grisly. I pulled that meat out and tossed it in the trash. After a couple bites of just bread, the next piece of meat was almost all fat. So I opened up the sandwich and examined each piece of meat and found none that I would eat. So I basically had a carrot slice sandwich. When I came here to review, I realized my last review almost three years ago said the same thing. I won't be back, I hate the idea of buying food to throw it away. First time here and I'm impressed for the most part. I ordered the pork rice plate. The pork was great with an amazing flavor and was tender enough to cut with a fork. We also go the dumplings and I think they are the best dumplings I've ever had. And the sauce went well with them. The hubby had some kind of pho and he seemed to like it. With that being said, if you go during a busy time don't expect to get the smoothies with boba you will be disappointed. I was told it is too busy for them to make the smoothies . I like this place because it's close to my work and the food is pretty good. I don't have to drive out to Irving or Arlington. Today I tried the pho bo vien. It goes under the build your own pho since it's not an actual item on the menu. It was pretty good. I like this place because the food comes out fast and the pho is always hot. I also tried the curry dish with tofu. It was good as well. Very rich flavor. But a lot of onions, maybe next time I'll skip on them. Before I've tried the bang mi thit nuong and the deluxe banh mi. They were both good:-) They're drinks are also good as well. I like their avocado boba and their Vietnamese iced coffee, which comes with condensed milk:-) The cons of this place is the price is higher than some places. This place is alright. The Pho broth is good but the beef taste a little weird to me personally. At this establishment you walk up and order, they give you a number and then they bring you your meal. This is very different than traditional Vietnamese places. FYI, if you order chicken pho you get breast meat in the dish. You serve your own drinks here too, so if you like to be waited on hand and foot this place is not for you. Plenty of parking outside and quick service by the staff. No real complaints here.
