As the IT Manager for a company with over 300 employees, partnering with TechWorks for Co-Managed…read moreIT Services was one of the best decisions we've made. Before we even officially onboarded, they audited our expenses and identified cost savings in the high five figures annually... effectively paying for their own services! They are far more than just support; they are strategic partners. We previously had a split environment, and TechWorks helped us seamlessly migrate 70+ users from Google Workspace into our existing Microsoft 365 solution. Consolidating everyone onto a single platform has been huge for our collaboration and resulted in significant licensing cost savings. Beyond the migration, they managed a cost-saving transition to a new CCTV surveillance system, and secured our network with a WatchGuard firewall and advanced spam prevention and phishing protection. Whether it's negotiating Microsoft licensing discounts, deploying solar-powered remote cameras, or providing 24/7 coverage so I can actually take a vacation, TechWorks is an invaluable extension of my team. Highly recommended for any organization looking to reduce IT costs while improving security.

As a busy dental office, we rely heavily on OpenDental, Carestream, and our 3D imaging systems and TechWorks ensures everything runs seamlessly. They recently managed a complex Windows 11 migration for our workstations to meet the October 2025 deadline, ensuring we maintained strict HIPAA compliance without disrupting patient care. When our physical server failed previously, their emergency backup and disaster recovery protocols kicked in immediately. They virtualized our server so fast we didn't even experience downtime. What I appreciate most is their flat-rate Managed IT Services model. Whether they are upgrading our Wi-Fi and network security, managing vendor relationships for our phone and internet, or performing maintenance after hours, the price never changes. Before I integrate any new software, I make sure to get them involved so that it is all taken care of properly. They are the experts! It truly feels like our IT is on autopilot. Highly recommended for any medical or dental practice needing reliable support!

Practically everything in the follow up response by the owner is a blatant lie, further proving my…read morepoint that the guy has no integrity. 1. Original quote given did not specify a "covered cable" install. I would have declined right then and there. My router is located inside a room with no exterior walls. 2. I never "insisted" on using the mount that I bought. If it was indeed not suitable (which of course was not the case), it should have been explained exactly why. All this particular mount needed was a small block of 2x4 behind it, to clear the edge of tile roof. But Chris was too lazy and rushed to think it through. Instead, he claimed that it needed "an extension" (nope, it didn't), and proceeded to butcher my brand new fascia by driving six (!) lag bolts through the mount at haphazard angles. When I re-mounted the dish properly myself a few days later, I was appalled at the damage that was inflicted. 3. He is obviously not used to his customers checking the quality of his installs. He came up with "oh, it's not finished yet" line only after I showed him the photo of the shoddy work he has done, got up the ladder myself, and demonstrated how wobbly the mount still was. Before then, he kept insisting that the mount was installed perfectly. 4. Before he left, he did offer to install his "professional" mount for $100. It was NOT free of charge, as he claims. This sleazy used car salesman's last ditch upsell was the final straw for me. That's when I knew I had to post my review. I have nothing more to say - it is up to the reader to decide who is telling the truth. If you still decide to hire Empire Satellites to work on your home, be prepared to live with the consequences.
