First time visiting this place. We placed our order. Waited and waited and no one brought us our water. We finally asked a waiter and he brings our water. Shortly after that, our first dish came out, the chicken wings. No utensils and had to ask them for it. We ordered the fried chicken leg quarter and had to send it back 2 times because it was uncooked. The second time they came back with the chicken, it was 2 smaller pieces. One of which was cooked, the other one wasn't. Sent that one back (they did tell me it was cooked but I'm no restaurant chef but I know what uncooked chicken looks like). On the third try they brought back the first and second pieces that we sent back, even after it was refried, the first piece wasn't cooked. My daughter just eat whatever was edible. The food is a little overpriced and service wasn't the best but I'll give it to them for trying to fix the chicken and taking 10% off our bill. Other than that, the food was good. Will I return? Probably not anytime soon. read more

Attractive-- very clean... pleasant friendly server... the small pho size was very generous... the beef broth was very flavorful and the beef slices very tender..the garnishes fresh...noticed a tiny bit of ice on the bean sprouts ... large amount of choices for vegetarians and vegans...the broth (meatlesss) seemed a little flavorless at first but gained flavor as it sat..the tofu was firm and appeared grilled..the spring rolls were very delicious and chilled properly with goodly amount of thick peanut sauce..the hot egg rolls were a little ho hum but the dipping sauce was tangy and delightful... Not a fan of plastic dishes and utensils... would have preferred regular..(we're not chopstick users)..the ice tea is lotus tea which I am unfamiliar with...(would prefer black tea)...so definitely looking forward to going back and trying other menu items... read more

Wasn't the biggest portions , but flavor was awesome. This was a to go order so cant expect 2 much. Had the pho combo soup. Awesome. And the Vietnamese sandwich I had was the best, even though a little small. Will go back to eat inside! Manager seemed pretty cool also. Go check it out ! read more

Very angry with pholicious today. Went there as soon as they opened in hopes to get a fresh bowl of chicken pho. Ordered not only 1 pho but 3. Total of $50!!! Which I don't mind paying but if you're going to charge that much at-least come through with the execution. Broth was super oily, chicken was more tough then the bottom of my feet, gave me 2 bites of noodles (which I'm sure is the cheapest not sure why they hold back on it). Please pholicious get it together! I'm sure the owner and the workers don't mean to do so but please take my advice and do right with your customers. read more

I love me the Pholicious Pho with the short rib! I practically crave it every week! Super clean and everything is made with top notch ingredients! read more

Haven't had much other than the pork banh mi but it's fantastic and you get a lot for the price. The egg rolls are also great but I wish they came with one more. Will be trying the pho and smoothies soon. read more

I thought the food was delicious and presented well! My pork was a little tough but tender once I reheated it. I absolutely loved the egg rolls and Thai ice tea!! Definitely would try this place again! read more

First time in Pholicious, got seated quickly. Not sure why their seats/ chairs seem low in relation to table level. Hard to eat pho when you're too low (I'm 5'7"). Server greeted warmly and took our order. Even tho we ordered Spring Rolls as starters, one of our entrees came out before the rolls. We waited about 15+ mins for my Avocado Rolls but my partner's Vietnamese Sausage rolls was a no-show. We had to ask. Taste of the rolls was good. Pho was very good with Ribeye, beefbroth & veggies w basil, sprouts, lime etc w good amount of vermichelli noodles served nice & hot. The store front decor is adequate but no barrier between tables so a bit on the loud, echo-y side. Could also use some Plant greenery to add 'life' to it. In the future, will probably just get 'take out' from here. Service or maybe kitchen staff needs a little more training on how to get food out properly to reflect 'in-person' prices. read more

Sizzling beef steak literally had 3 pieces of beef and comes with no rice or noodles. Service was friendly but $10+ for 3 pieces of beef is a ripoff on top of the time it took for it as well. Not going here again unless the portions get better, I can get the same dish at Pho Ha and have enough for lunch and dinner. Update: Was reached out to for a refund, however I had asked for no receipt. Either way not going back, there are cheaper options out there with bigger portions and with descriptions of their menu items. Not sure what I was supposed to do with a random loaf of bread as well. read more

Great service, GOOD food. I enjoyed the Pho Special with the short ribs. The broth made the dish, the meat was super tender. I also had the herbal tea, which apparently is good for the skin per the cashier. All our questions were answered promptly and courteously. Go here. read more

Went for pho on a chilly Friday evening and it hit the spot! To start we ordered a pot of hot tea that had a good flavor. We then ordered and order of spring rolls. To our surprise we could customize them the way we wanted and not just the options on the menu. As this was our first time at the restaurant we had couple questions about the menu and our waiter was very knowledgable and was able to answer our questions. We ordered two small build your own pho dishes. We were amazed at the size of them. Easily enough for 2 people to share. The pho had a great flavor. All the proteins that we got had plenty of flavor along with the broth which was delicious! By the end of our meal the restaurant was packed. The service and food were both great. Definitely will be going back! read more

So disappointed today. Ordered a bahn mi and a pho. Prices when up. Portion is smaller. Bread on the bahn mi was small and soft not the traditional crunchy bread. The pho was ok but smaller and more expensive than before. Asked for water and was given a tea cup of ice water, not even a glass. And service sucked. No one checked if we needed anything during the meal. read more

The Pho is SO GOOD! My vegetarian wife was equally pleased with the vegetarian win so that's a double win for us. We can't wait until they open again and we will be back soon!! read more

Best Pho noodles in the area. I love the flavor of the beef broth and their avocado smoothies are great too!

This place is awesome! Strongly recommended for anyone who loves Pho noodle soups, killer spring rolls and also smoothies too! Go figure, the best hot and cold in the business! My wife and I frequent this place at least once per week just to see the smiling faces with great service, a clean and modern dining room, and of course the very best in Vietnamese food (always fresh). Try the Avocado smoothie, for real. Totally took me by surprise! read more

First time here and it was amazing! Really good Banh Mi and the Egg Rolls were just as good. I'll be back soon!

It's overpriced and not even comparable to pho on the west coast. The portions are small and service is terrible. They cater to favorite customers first, everyone else 3rd... especially if you are white. read more

I went to the soft opening and it was amazing. The owner is extra nice. You could see your food front in front of you. If iam in town again I would be back in an instant read more

The goi cuon here is amazing. The peanut dipping sauce that is served with it is unique and thicker than the more hoisin heavy ones found at other restaurants. Highly recommend! read more

Awesome taste, good portion and friendly wait staff. Best Vietnamese restaurant around town. You will miss the broth flavor before during and after your visit. read more

For a banh mi sandwich in the suburbs, it was pretty good. The protein-based ham was great in the Veggie and "ham" option, but the sandwich could do with a little more flavor. Usually there's more of a pickled flavor to the carrots and daikon. The staff was very friendly. Major plus! read more

Stopped in for lunch with my son. First time trying Vietnamese food and did not disappoint. First, they are following COVID rules. All staff had masks on. Witnessed staff disinfecting tables and menus. Since this was our first time at this establishment, we let our server know. He was very helpful in explaining the dishes and making suggestions which we appreciated immensely. Started out with an order of grilled pork spring rolls. They come with a side of a peanut butter type dipping sauce. Sooo good. The grilled pork Banh Mi sandwich was wonderful. The meat was tender and flavorful. The French baguette was toasted to perfection. There was a mixture of shredded daikon and carrots that added a nice mild and tangy bite to the sandwich. My son tried the Pho Bowl, big enough to feed two in my opinion. Based on the servers recommendation he had steak , brisket, quail egg and shrimp. He added green onions, lime and culantro. This herb is similar to cilantro but has a stronger flavor and is used in smaller amounts. He had a choice of beef or vegetable broth and went with the beef. Of course when it came out I had to try it. The broth was rich and had good flavor. The meat was melt in your mouth and the quail egg was cooked perfectly. When you bit into it the yolk was running and rich and mixed perfectly with the broth, noodles and meat. We also tried their tropical tea that had bits of chopped fruit in it and was very refreshing. Since this was our first time trying Vietnamese food I have nothing to compare it too. But I can tell you the food was fresh, the place was clean and friendly and we will be going back. read more

Wow. All I have to say is that the broth of the pho is the best in Chicago hands down. I have eaten at every single pho restaurant from Chinatown to argyle Street to the suburbs and this new place has the best tasting broth which for me is everything in a good bowl of pho. I only wish it were closer to my home as I would be going here everyday. My mouth is salivating over just writing this review. read more

this place is more of a sit down and eat. i placed a pickup order and ordered v12 the vegan dish and the tofu had like a cinnamon flavor to it and the dip for the spring rolls started off tasting on the sour side before it got good. i had to mix a hot sauce in it to be able to eat out of it. didn't finish the tofu... i ate the noodles plain due to the fact i had nothing to go with it. the salad was okay idk overall mid read more

I love Pholicious! Pork belly rice dish is my allll time fav great food and drinks too! I got the milk tea with bobba and it was delicious!

good food but awful customer service!!! spilled my four boba drinks because of their shallow and flimsy cup holder (see photo insert) but they were unwilling to replace it. first time i've experienced that a restaurant is not willing to replace spilled drinks. most would be willing to replace it with no questions asked. they even made excuses like it's not on them but i would have to talked with yelp/grubhub for a refund. tsk tsk tsk!!! this is my second time to order from them through yelp/grubhub and i've noticed that they are not organized with their ordering system. first time i ordered and picked up i have to wait 15 minutes inside their place (probably exposing me to the virus) although it says on my yelp that it is ready for pick up already. for all i know somebody has picked up my order already by mistake thus the long wait. no compensation was even given. my second order was the same problem. they seem confused whenever i pick up my order. and to top it all after the spilled drink incident when i opened & checked my order after picking it up, there was no bread included with the beef briskett order. this is not good for a new and upcoming business!!!i you guys lose me & my friends as customers!!! hope you change your ways. my advise to others: pppllleeeaaassseee ssstttaaayyy aaawwwaaayyy!!!! no stars if there was an option! grrrrrr!!! read more
