Pho Ha is a very casual, cozy family owned Vietnamese restaurant. They have a parking lot out front with plenty of spaces. They have a wide variety of options and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the combination pho and the bahn xeo which were really good. The service is fast.

Pho Ha Restaurant - A Phenomenal, Flavor-Packed Find Pho Ha absolutely hit the spot. It's the kind of Vietnamese restaurant that feels authentic the moment you sit down--casual, bustling, and focused on what matters most: deeply satisfying food with clean, layered flavors. What I Ordered - Egg rolls - Brisket pho - Iced Vietnamese coffee Food Highlights - Egg rolls: Golden and blistered with a shatter-crisp wrapper. The filling was savory and well-seasoned, and the nuoc cham dipping sauce had that perfect sweet-salty-tangy balance with a little garlic kick. Addictive. - Brisket pho: The broth was the star--clear yet full-bodied, aromatic with star anise and charred onion notes. The brisket slices were tender with just enough marbling to enrich the soup without feeling heavy. Fresh herbs (basil, cilantro), bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños were crisp and vibrant, letting you dial in your own brightness and heat. Every sip was comforting and deeply flavorful. - Iced Vietnamese coffee: Bold and smooth, the strong coffee stood up beautifully to the sweetened condensed milk. Over ice, it was balanced--dessert-like without being cloying. The perfect finish. Service and Atmosphere - Service was quick, friendly, and attentive without hovering. - The vibe is warm and lively--great for a casual meal, solo slurp, or an easy meet-up with friends. - Dishes arrived hot, fresh, and well-timed. Why It Works - Authentic flavors executed with care. - Thoughtful textures--crisp where you want crisp, silky where you want silky. - A broth that's clearly simmered with intention; it tastes like time and technique. Pro Tips - Taste the broth first before adding hoisin, chili paste, or lime--then adjust to your preference. - Ask for extra herbs if you love a brighter, more aromatic bowl. - Pair the egg rolls with fresh herbs and a splash of nuoc cham for the best bite. Verdict Phenomenal. If you're craving real-deal Vietnamese comfort, Pho Ha delivers--big time. The egg rolls, brisket pho, and iced coffee made for a knockout trio. I'll be back soon.

Pho Ha was a genuine surprise to me. The outside is unassuming, and the inside has a home style feel. Sitting down, it felt welcoming. Service was fast and to the point, and the servers were quick to bring everything out. The Bun Bo was pretty good, not record setting but solid. The Bo Kho, on the other hand, was not what I knew Bo Kho to be or what I've had for the majority of my life. Very soupy, and overall was missing something. What makes up for this is the portion size (bowl is massive) and the meat. If Pho Ha does one thing well it's their cuts of meat. Normal Viet restaurants cut the meat as thin as possible. Pho Ha cuts that meat thick so you can taste it. For that, a 4/5 is where they land in my books.

This place is a nice cheap homey pho place. I got takeout this time and the wings, spring rolls, and shrimp rolls were delicious. Spring rolls and the peanut sauce were fresh. Shrimp rolls came out crispy and are pretty similar to the shrimp rolls in dim sum restaurants. My personal favorite is the crispy chicken wings. They are savory, just crispy enough, and the sauce adds a good bit of sweetness. I highly recommend these. The service is a bit slow though.

I got pho ga and it just was really average. average to sub par, honestly. I also thought adding an egg to it was a little strange. The chicken was brown and white meat. the restaurant is small, but accommodated everyone when i was there. i'm not too familiar with the area, but there were two men screaming at each other and threatening to get into a physical altercation outside. service was also non existent. nobody came around to check on me once. i did not particularly like this meal and feel like there are better options if you drive a little closer to chicago.

I'm meeting a friend here because he's never had Vietnamese food. I've gone here before and thought it was good. It's a small mom and pop restaurant with a laid-back vibe and nothing to brag about, yet it has everything I need to enjoy my meal. We tried the cha gio tom (001), which is a four-piece shrimp egg roll served with a side of fish sauce. The outside is crispy, but I'm not a fan of the stuffing, which was scarce. My main course I had pho dac biet (202) which was basically a house special. The broth was light and clear, but it had a strong beef flavor; Rice noodles that are firm and chewy. The brisket, tendon, and meatball are all extremely tender. I also ordered banh mi thit nuong (102) to go with my pho. The baguette was well toasted and flaky. The pork is flavorful and has a wonderful char grilled scent. The ingredients are fresh, and it complements the sandwich perfectly. It's an enjoyable comfort food that hits the spot, and I'm pleased to hear my friend liked it; I know he appreciates Vietnamese cuisine after this visit.

Banh mi thit nuong - grilled pork sandwich

Recently moved from California where pho restaurants were found in abundanceee, I'm talking about multiple Vietnamese restaurants in every plaza/mile radius. Since moving here, it's been hard to find some solid Vietnamese food but Pho Ha was worth the 10 mile drive. Bun Bo hue - 4.5/5 stars Oh man, one sip of the broth and it brought back memories. The broth was delicious and well developed, plenty of meat, and had a mild spice to it. You can ask for sate if you want it spicier, but make sure to add a little at a time because it's easy to go overboard and make it SPICYYY (speaking from experience haha) Banh mi thit nuong - 4/5 Grilled pork sandwich - can't really go wrong. It had a good ratio of meat to veggies, but the sandwich was a little on the skinnier side haha. But this is coming from someone who just eat a lot lol Customer service was great - attentive and kept refilling water. We ordered a ca phe sua da (iced coffee) and it never came until we mentioned it at the register while paying but that's okay. I would have given this place a 5 stars but I feel like we were mischarged somehow..? Two bowls of BBH 12x2 = $24, two banh mi thit nuong 7.25x2 = $14.50, one coffee $3.50 all together = $42 with tax maybe $46 ish, but our total was about $52... They also give a 4% off as incentive if you pay with cash so I'm not sure how our total came out to $52 but oh well. In the end, delicious food and I would come here every week if it wasn't so far. 10/10 recommend

Per suggestion from a friend, we came to Pho Ha looking for some Vietnamese food. Let's just say we did not leave disappointed! Started with an order of spring rolls which were fresh and served a tasty peanut sauce. The combination pho with all the fixings were great. Broth was solid and had a good depth of flavor. Noodles were cooked through and didn't clump together. The vermicelli with grilled pork(or possibly chicken can't recall which one) and a fried egg roll was also really good. Lastly, we had ordered a ban mi for the kiddo which he thoroughly enjoyed. Big fan of the bread here, because sometimes you get those shops that serve up that really tough baguette that cuts up the roof of your mouth. But not here! Also we did order an iced coffee from here which was great and definitely kept me up in the evening. Anyways, after seeing some pictures of the bun bo hue, we'll definitely need to make another trip out. 'Til next time, cheers!

Inside of the restaurant hasn't changed much in years

My favorite Vietnamese place anywhere. This place hasn't changed much in 10 years inside but that's fine as long as the food is still good. Price has gone up a lot unfortunately but at least it's still pretty good. Meat in the soup had a bit of an off taste like it was in plastic bowl or something but otherwise everything tasted so good and nostalgic. I've been coming here for years and it's still a favorite. Was craving this pork and egg patty plate. Not a fan of the string skin years later (very dry and flavorless and a weird texture) but otherwise love this plate. The pork has so much flavor. Was a bit too fatty this time tho. Love their spring rolls so fresh and has mint so it's refreshing.

This creature that works here at Pho Ha is fantastic ! Foods great and customer service is very kind

It didn't feel air conditioned. Maybe for one of the times when you go out to eat or order food, you can try doing veggie and support this lovely place. :-) For the appetizer, we were recommended the Mushroom Pani Puri. Right now this is my opportunity trying them and so far it's been a quaint and ambience on the declar if they're playing soft jazz music. So far service was pretty quick. I ordered the pho with the beef tendon and it was a meh ok. I think it could have been a little more flavorful with their pho broth but it wasn't bland either. Needs more cinnamon. What's also unique was the fact that they kept their soup spoons and their regular spoons and chopsticks in this wooden box and then another peculiarity was you had to get the condiments of basil chili pepper bean sprouts and lime up in a tray versus for them to bring it to you. The line in the basil didn't seem that fresh which is why I was a little disappointed other than that it was okay. I don't know if I would come here more often but there are other places I tried that are Vietnamese in which the pho had more flavor and was better. I probably would come here for their dim sum

I've repeatedly asked that they don't include so much rice in the chicken rice soup since it ends up more like wet chicken and rice, and yet they continue to do it. The flavor was pretty bad this time around anyway, so I will not be ordering it again. Strangely enough, the egg drop soup, which I do not normally care for, was quite good. So the quality varies, I guess. Speaking of quality, the vegetable eggrolls were over-cooked and dry, but the shrimp eggroll, which was part of a lunch order, was good. I also tried the fried rice for the first time and was not impressed at all. It looked like Panda Express fried rice, except Panda Express is better. Usually Chinese fried rice is much better than any chain. As for the main dishes, the sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken were good, but the broccoli chicken was just so-so. In the photos online it has a brown sauce, but it came with a white sauce. I'm not sure if that has to do with my special instructions asking to put garlic in it or not, though. I also asked in my special instructions not to provide utensils or any sauce but sweet and sour but they threw in hot mustard, soy sauce, and utensils anyway. So I still don't know if they can see the special instructions or just choose to ignore them. In any case, I will probably still order here occasionally since the location is convenient, but I'm not as thrilled with the food as I was in the past. You've got your choice of various fruit lemonades, bubble teas, popping bubble teas, jellies, etc. Desserts include flan, Vietnamese yogurt, coconut jelly - none of which you'll be eating onsite as you'll be too full after your entree. Portions are on the large side - even the papaya salad is a meal. I got the peach lemonade, vegetable spring rolls and the tofu, vegetable and noodles, which turned out to be a soup, basically Vietnamese ramen. The spring rolls are tasty and come with peanut sauce; the vegetable broth was savory with lots of baby bok choy, plenty of noodles and cubes of fried tofu - it was even better with some of the homemade hot sauce, which I highly recommend. The lemonade comes in a bubble tea disposable cup and contains tiny pieces of fruit - very fruity, not very citrusy. Service was friendly and very personable, which helps if you're serving 16 people. All of whom were happy.
