    Signature Fruit Tea (50% sugar)
    Eva S.

I came here with my husband between running errands and 45 Degree Tea is a great place for fast casual when you're in a pinch but craving a warm bowl of ramen. I was not a huge fan of their drinks (I tried two) but so far, their ramen was not bad. I ordered the spicy garlic miso ramen, my husband ordered the black garlic ramen, and we shared the veggie egg roles. The ramen noodles were cooked to order and served in disposable soup bowls. There were self-serve chopsticks/cutlery by a station near the pick-up counter. For under $15 a bowl of ramen, it's a great value. There were plenty of noodles and toppings, and the pork was nothing to write home about but it got the job done. I personally was not a fan of two drinks that I tried, and for that, 3 stars. Perhaps I'm used to my milk tea spots in the city. I ordered their "signature fruit tea" with 50% sugar and it was a little too saturated for my taste. What I mean by that is it tasted like the fruit rinds were soaking in the tea for too long and the citrus bordered on bitter, so they added a pump of guava or passionfruit syrup to cover it up. The result was a pungent bitter-citrus artificial floral combination that was hard to drink. The next day, I got classic milk tea for redemption but it didn't happen. I think their food menu items outshine their drinks, but I'm glad this place is offers what they do, and is so easily accessible in the large plaza on Showplace Dr. TL;DR Their food menu items are great for a quick fast-casual meal. Their ramen bowls are great value but are not the same as restaurant that only serves ramen. They have a wide selection of drinks and styles (milk teas, fruit teas, pure teas, yakult, cheese foam, etc.) and this is a great spot if you're craving Asian snacks, want a quick bite, or need a hang out spot before/after a movie.

I was surprised to find such an interesting spot in Naperville with a full menu of tea options that includes everything from grass jelly to cheese foam to yakult to egg pudding. This will save me a trip to Chinatown as I can enjoy the more interesting options, but with a much easier time parking. In addition to all the great drink options, I was pleasantly surprised to see a huge menu of different food items such as chicken wings, fried pork chop, tako yaki, ramen, curry, hibachi, unagi, and more! This really makes this a nice one stop shop with a good amount of seating to enjoy a conversation and your food. Overall, worth a stop if you're looking to enjoy a large variety of drinks and a vast menu of different Asian food options all in one spot and at reasonable prices.

As it starts getting chillier, join me in grabbing a bowl of delicious tonkatsu udon from 45 Degree Tea When 45 Degree Tea first opened in Naperville I was not the biggest fan of their ramen and takoyaki but I'm so glad I gave them another shot! The tonkatsu pork bone broth was flavorful and not watery, the chashu pork and other toppings were all cooked well - I would genuinely order this again!

Our first time here on Friday evening and it was really packed. We barely got a table. The hell ramen highest spicy was good and pretty spicy. The black garlic ramen was really good if you like garlic ramen. The roasted oolong boba was really good too. A side note, when you leave the restaurant, your clothes will smell like food. A good place to go after movies or a date.

My husband and I went to 45 Degree Tea with a friend on a visit to the Naperville Crossings shopping center. We decided to stop at 45 Degree Tea before visiting the Chessfest in the shopping center. 45 Degree Tea is a cozy restaurant serving drinks and snacks. The tables and chairs remind me of a coffee house. My husband and I shared a MANGO FRUIT TEA (mango flavored jasmine green tea with mango chunks and natural cane sugar syrup). Once mixed thoroughly, this was a pretty good drink. After trying a drink, I'm excited to comeback and try another drink and some food. I recommend 45 Degree Tea!

I was looking at the menu and theres so many food choice from rice bowl to ramen choice. I also had the Passionfruit Watermelon Fruit Tea with Crystal Boba and I liked it! Im definitely coming back to try more stuff on the menu. Happy Eating!

A few friends and I visited 45 Degree Tea before heading to Chessfest in the shopping center. This charming spot offers a variety of drinks and snacks, with a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a coffee house. I tried the passion fruit mango tea, which was quite enjoyable. After that experience, I'm looking forward to returning to sample more drinks and some food. I definitely recommend checking out 45 Degree Tea!

45 Degree Tea is a tale of two stories in one place. Located in a plaza in South Naperville by the Showplace Theater, you'll be happy if you want a quick bite and some boba drinks. The variety of drink options from milk teas, fruit teas, yakult, coconut milk, and all sorts of options to customize your drink. Boba lovers will be happy. On the other hand, temper your expectations with the ramen. Whether you dine in or take out, your food will be served in to go containers. The broth in all the ramens don't have much depth. It'll do in a pinch, but there are better places for ramen literally down the road. There are plenty of toppings in any of the ramen bowls, and the noodles are okay, but for the money and better quality, go elsewhere.

I have been coming here every time I am in the area. This place makes amazing food, amazing drinks, and has amazing staff. This trip I only got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Cheese Foam. I kid you not, from the moment I walked up to the store, to the moment I got into my car, it only took three total minutes. The outside picture I took was at 3:43, and I walked out and into the car at 3:46. My drink is amazing. As always, it's beautiful looking, and is just super tasty. The staff was sooooo kind. I 100% recommend this location every time someone asks where to get good food/boba. I love you 45Degree

The food was good, the portion sizes are small. They call your name and you have to pick up your order and carry it to your table. If you don't mind doing that then you will love it here. The egg rolls were average, they were too temperature hot that they were not enjoyable to eat. Won't order them again for dine in. I don't think I will go out of my way to eat here... but if I am in the area I may consider dining here again. The bathrooms don't have changing tables so I would not consider this place infant friendly. The restaurant was decorated very nice, it was clean, and the employees were very friendly! I recommend giving it a try!

Citrus Lime Fruit Tea And Vegetarian Ramen
    Steve A.

After choosing here it would have been cool to bring a thermometer and take the temperature but I forgot to bring it. 45 Degree Tea is a cool place figuratively and literally. If you're into Asian tea you'll find some good stuff. Has a good menu also so try things like ramen. The prices are kind of high so that's the bad thing. Holy shit you can get a lot of tea from here. It has all kinds. There's cold and hot. A favorite is the Citrus Lime Fruit Tea, which is what we got. It's $5 for a medium. This is Jasmine green tea with fresh lime spices. As for the food it was limited for us to choose from. The pho is made with meat except one thing. It has a vegan friendly entree. The Vegetarian Ramen is in a vegetarian broth, not beef or chicken like the rest of these. It's $11 for a bowl. This has broccoli, cabbage, eggs, kale noodles, lotus root, mushrooms, naruto, pickled mustard greens, shallots, spinach, and sweet corn, whew. A whole lot. Leave out eggs to make it vegan. It has some good spice in it. This was quite a warm and full meal. Big ass bowls. It unfortunately is expensive for the pho which seems to be the main thing to eat here. They thankfully fill the bowl up with lots of stuff so that helps make up for this.

    Tako yaki balls
    Maggie M.

It is pretty pricy for the amount you get, but it isn't too bad for the location it is at. Tried the new yaki udon chasu bowl and it is stir fry filled with chasu, broccoli, and cabbage. Got the tako yaki balls and there was a good amount of octopus with mayo and lots of Bonito flakes on top. Husband had the spicy garlic miso ramen and he said it wasn't bad. He was still hungry and ate the rest of my udon. We also got the taro milk tea, which they are a popular spot for the drinks.

    Black garlic tonkotsu ramen....DELICIOUS
    Shannon M.

Best ramen I have had since Tokyo! I have been seeking black garlic tonkotsu ramen since eating at Yokohama Family Ramen (an unpretentious place in the Akihabara neighborhood of Tokyo with amazing black garlic tonkotsu broth). I've found some good tonkotsu ramen around here (Umai Aji-ya is nothing to sneer at), but was still questing for that black garlic umami depth of flavor. Then a friend told me about 45 Degree Tea, Ramen and Rice, in the old Wayback Burger space near the movie theater at 59 and 95th Street. I got there as quickly as I could to try their version. This is what I have been waiting for!!! So glad it's nearby too. Delectable roast pork, crisp bamboo shoots, crunchy green onion, and very thin squiggles of ramen noodles, all bathed in the mellow, creamy, garlicky broth. They have other dishes I'd like to try like an unagi bowl (eel) and chicken teriyaki but it would be hard to bypass the black garlic ramen!! They also make a variety of bubble teas; my standard, taro milk tea with tapioca, was tasty, not excessively sweet with chewy pearls of tapioca. Needless to say, I will be back soon!

Taro milk tea was very much powder and too sweet/fake tasting. Service was a bit slow. Left the place smelling like a kitchen.

I ordered their teriyaki skewers, agedashi tofu, and tan tan ramen. Sibling ordered the beef noodle soup. Ambiance is cozy, extremely large booths for family style seating or with friend groups. Tan Tan Ramen: Large portion, quite spicy for someone that can handle very mild spice (so ask for less if they can do it). Flavor is superb, something I'd definitely order again. Came with ground pork, bean sprout, veggies, and half a boiled egg. Teriyaki skewer: Not your traditional Japanese teriyaki flavor, however equally delicious. Tender chicken pieces glazed and seasoned. Agedashi tofu: Gave lots of pieces, I wanna say 8 or 6 pieces. Crunchy exterior, powdered with shichimi togarashi chili powder. Comes with agedashi sauce which is authentic to its flavor. (Very surprised because I've come across lots of restaurants that mess this up). Overall a positive experience, good food and ambiance. Have yet to try their Japanese menu items like tonkatsu ramen, but all my recs above are a safe bet!

The rice noodles with Hunan style are unique at our suburban areas. Another choice to make to the China town in the City. We have tried almost all flavored rice noodles soup. My favorites are Xiao chao Xiang and spicy ribs. Xiao chao Xiang can pair up with rice as well. Both delicious. Services are always quick and friendly. They have only 6 tables and a few bar seats. Very cozy in place to enjoy the meal.
