This was a pretty decent spot for ramen considering there are not a whole lot in the Lisle area. There is shared parking. They have a decent amount of seating, I don't think they get super busy. They also have a special Chinese menu so I guess this is a good Chinese and Japanese place. I'll have to return to try their Chinese dishes. We ordered gyoza, kaarage shoyu ramen, and tonkotsu ramen. The broths were well seasoned. The kaarage chicken was very juicy in the middle and crispy on the outside. The chashu was very tender and little chew. Gyozas were tasty. They had a nice crunch to them. Service was okay, not much of a service. Prices were good.

Solid ramen, but nothing jaw dropping I'd say. Filling, tasty bits of chicken, and nice broth. Service was fast and place is chill and casual!

Great ambiance! Bright and colorful. Number 9 udon with shrimp and vegetable tempura served on the side so it doesn't get soggy was delicious! Highly recommend. Katsu with curry served on the side and rice was great. Beef bowl was tasty and came with miso soup. Service was fast and pleasant. They also have counter service. Price was reasonable for dinners and bubble tea and soda. $63 before tip.

This is the third time I have tried rice noodles after it reopened. The first two time I ordered hongshao beef rice noodles 红烧牛肉粉 and beef ribs rice noodles牛排牛肉粉。Today I tried the Mala rice noodles 麻辣牛肉粉。All three were very delicious and authentic. If you like beef soft, I recommend beef ribs one, the Hongshao one. The beef in Mala one is a little hard, and I asked the boss Ms. Abu and she said that's a specialty in Hunan (a Chinese province famous for spicy food) style. Definitely worth trying all three if you like authentic Chinese food, I guarantee you will love them! I will come and try the stir fry rice noodles too. I forgot to take photos for the first two. Will add them when I order them again.

This is some of the best Ramen noodles in the Chicago area. They also have Chinese noodles, which I really like! The service is great and the owners are very caring about their customers. It's also has a great atmosphere about it. You feel like you're among friends here.

Yes! Clean, friendly, super comfy environment and absolutely delicious. We'll be back for sure!! You can tell it's authentic by who's filling the seats. Authenticity is key!

Stopped in for a quick lunch and got the tempura udon. The vegetable tempura sides include sweet potato and onion rings; slightly on the greasy side, but the udon had a great texture and the soup is umami while not being too salty. You can also ask the server to mix and match soup based with the ramen/toppings (eg. Tantanmen soup based with tonkatsu toppings)! The restaurant was overall very clean with a kiosk at the front for more introverted customers.

Friendly and great service. They knew without asking me to serve me warm water and my husband cold water. Now that's pretty amazing. My husband got the Tonkotsu ramen with extra noodles and egg (which is half an egg). Pretty decent size bowl with a good amount of toppings. Got the spicy beef ramen. Very spicy and were cooked perfectly. Not soggy. Had lots of meat and bok chocolate (not just one stalk) Also got the tempura combination as an appetizer, but it came after we were halfway through our ramen. There were 2 pieces of each vegetable and shrimp. They were delicious and crunchy. It was very warm inside. They only had booths that can seat up to 4ppl. Lots of parking space available. Definitely will have to try coming back to try the fried rice or rice bowl.

I've been by the restaurant 3 times since I posted my first review. They appear to be permanently closed. No sign in the window, online ordering no longer available and they do not answer the telephone.

Came for lunch since we live nearby and I was very satisfied! They actually offer a few different kinds of noodles which is nice. It's still in the soft opening phase, but I ordered the tantan ramen and shared the tempura combo appetizer with my family. I liked that their broth is not too salty or thick, and the noodles were bouncy, and the tantan specifically had a little bit of a kick which was really nice in the winter. I really loved their tempura -- it was super fresh and crispy and it was a great portion size for the price! The vibe inside was cozy and relaxed with calming piano music playing in the background. We were one of a couple customers there at a time so service was fast. Our waiter forgot to give us napkins and utensils when the tempura came but we just asked for it later. Would come back whenever in the area and need a casual meal to try their other menu items!

Great little place, mostly ramen but some other Japanese entrees too. We had tantan and vegetable miso ramen, both quite tasty and not overloaded with salt like some places. Among the best we've had outside Jspan.

Ambiance was so cute and cozy. Spicy beef ramen and yakiniku beef were both incredible! Will be back. Food was generous portions and so delicious

Absolutely terrible service. Came in for a family Valentine's Day dinner. We had an early…read morereservation (4:30p) for our family of 4 (two school age children). We were barely greeted when walking in and making immediate eye contact with the host but yet nothing was said - no "hello," no "welcome in", no nothing. After an awkward 10-15 seconds of standing there face to face, all that was said was "how many?" in the most irritated and unwelcoming of acknowledgements from the host. Dinner was decent and food and side options were good, although service was lackluster. Nothing really wowed me but I also don't really have complaints of the meal itself. We were sitting and eating for about 45 minutes when my husband asked for the check. We are "early payers," making sure to square away the bill if most of us are finished. We do this as a courtesy to staff so that the minute the last of our family is finished, we don't need to wait for the server to get our bill and wait to pay, we quickly leave so they can turn over the table (my family has owned a restaurant so I understand this need). My one child was not entirely done although 3 of us were. We are still under an hour of being at the table when the host comes over to do a general clean up then says, "now if you can please take the conversation outside, it's busy." Normally I would respect this method as turnover is importance, however, we had been at the table for LESS THAN an hour - not obnoxiously exceeding their 90-minute rule. My husband looked at him and said, "that's really rude, we've barely been here an hour." To which the host responds, "Yea, but don't you see it's busy? I have tables waiting" while pointing to the host stand. My husband and I are shocked at the comment so we end up seeing the owner helping tables and my husband tells him, "We understand the need to free up tables but his delivery was extremely unprofessional. There could have been a better way to have said that, we've only been here for 50 minutes." The owner was shocked himself that his host said that considering we were not there all that long. But the host came back hovering and telling him, "but they paid so I assume they should have left knowing there's tables waiting and they've already paid the bill." Again - shocked at the delivery. The owner was very apologetic but he should consider a better front of the house host/manager. It completely turned us away from ever coming back, it has been over 2 weeks and we still talk about how rude service was. All of that disrespect when here we were trying to make turnover quicker for them by paying right away. We were willing to give them another chance to enjoy a second meal there but not anymore.

It was undoubtedly the best quality hot pot meat I've ever had. A major highlight was the Wagyu Sushi. It was so unbelievably good that I would return just for that! They have a wide variety of sauces. The atmosphere is clean and nice, creating a comfortable and enjoyable setting. Additionally, the server was highly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. My only minor note is that the selection of fresh vegetables could have been a bit wider. However, the superior quality and abundance of the Wagyu more than made up for this small drawback.

It was plenty of food, topped off with smores for dessert. The meat was fresh. Lots of meat, good beef, some pork, and a few shrimp. Spicy chiggae soup was yummy, nice and spicy. So much food. Super yummy. Park in the structure around the corner on Chicago Ave.

After 10 minutes the host comes and tells the couple they have tables but they aren't cleaned yet and he's waiting. Mind you the restaurant isn't packed, but there are a few tables dining. I'm guessing they were understaffed. Anyhow, after another 10 minutes the guy ahead of us gets seated. Nothing was said to us. Another party of two came and they were also waiting and they flagged someone down. The host said the same thing as earlier, they have tables that haven't been cleaned. 10 mins later he goes to try to seat them knowing we were there first. The lady even told him, well they were here first. He went ahead and seated them anyway then came back and got us. It's 245. I told him we had a reservation for 230. The lack of communication from the host was off putting. We were hungry and my son really wanted bbq. I would have gone to SGD, but they are closed on Mondays. Anyhow, we wait around a good 10 mins before a server comes to take a drink order. Again, they weren't completely packed, I counted 3 servers and a host. We order ribeye, chicken, filet, kalbi and the hirami in a pot for our meats. We also got corn, spinach, a salad and the fried rice and an order of white rice. I ask him if that's enough food and he says yes, but you can keep a menu in case you want more. Our table was 2 adults and 2 kids who are 11 and 9. Fried rice comes out first and the meats. I ask him to bring the white rice too for my son. He said he forgot and will grab it right away. Let's just say he brought the white rice a good 15 mins after...and I had to remind him. So my son is sitting there eating his meat with no rice. The hirami in the pot was a good size but there were 5 pieces of ribeye and 5 pieces of filet and 5 pieces of chicken and maybe 8 pieces of the kalbi. How is this enough for 4 people? So we order another 2 orders of kalbi. I don't know the happy hour portions are tiny. We also needed refills and that took a couple reminders. We also ordered another order of rice. We are pretty much done eating when I ask him what happened to our rice order? He said he will check and that he ordered it awhile ago. He comes back within 2 minutes with our rice saying there was a mix up in the kitchen? Was it really a mix up or did you just forget? By the time we get our check it's 445. Why did this take so long? We have been there before and we are usually in and out in an hour and a half. So they took the fried rice off our bill. Then for tip, it's asking if we want to tip 18, 22 or 22%? Are you being serious? This guy had to constantly be reminded of everything, service was so slow and he had only two other tables. Someone else was picking up our dirty plates and bringing us the meats. I've never had a bad experience here until now. The visit wasn't worth the $180. Food was good except the filet. That had no flavor at all and had to be drenched with the sauces on the table. We have gotten delivery from here before and the portions were bigger during delivery. One other thing to note, the server never even changed out our grill...they usually do that half way through.
