This option was not available for a "meal" that comes with a drink in the price. All bentos came with a soy braised egg (the yolk was jammy and perfect) and some pickled yellow daikon. You can 1) order at the kiosk by the cashier 2) place your order with the friendly woman behind the desk or 3) sit down at a table and order using the QR code at each table. The space was modern and clean, with a few tables near the front entrance that would fit a party of 4, but mostly tables and chairs along the side wall that would fit 2. Seating is similar to what you'd see at a standard cafe (like one that serves espresso/coffee drinks) so it might not be the best place if you have a large party and want to sit together. There was a friendly men and woman who were cooking in the kitchen and taking/servers orders, respectively. It was definitely a mom and pop vibe, which I love and am happy to support their business. I'm naturally introverted and usually keep conversations short, but Matthew was so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine that he actually got me talking. He has a way of making guests feel welcome and valued without ever seeming forced or overbearing. He also did an amazing job recommending additional items. It never felt like a sales pitch. He was simply enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu, and his recommendations sounded so good that we happily ordered them. Everything was fantastic, and we're glad we took his suggestions. What started as a dinner outing became a full experience, and that's something that rarely happens anymore. Matthew is the kind of employee every restaurant hopes to have.
