Came across this Cozy little restaurant. We started off with sushi made fresh to order , and a delicious ramen during this cold weather. The ramen broth was on point ! From the hostess to the waitress and chefs everything was great! Give them a try !

This is such a lovely little sushi place! It's really cute and cozy inside, and very clean. The service is fantastic - everyone is super nice! We ordered the edamame, spicy tuna tataki roll (8pcs), and yellow submarine roll (10pcs). Everything tasted fresh and delicious! They have an extensive menu - ramen, sushi, soups, appetizers, classic maki rolls, and signature rolls. I love how they have so many options! We took to-go menus on our way out. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful first time visit. They are vegan friendly, very accommodating and the food was delicious! The ambiance is nice and very clean. Service was friendly and fast. We enjoyed the pan fried udon noodles with veggies, veggie fried rice, and several tasty veggie maki rolls. We'll be back!

Calamari and crab rangoons in the back

For some odd reason, a lot of sushi places are closed around 2 pm... I was late for lunch but early for dinner but luckily Lili Sushi was open. For an appetizer, I ordered the Crab Rangoons and Fried Calamari. The calamari was perfectly cooked and bite cleanly. No chewiness at all All the rolls I ordered for lunch were fresh and tasted amazing. The service was top notch and the food arrived fairly quickly. The location is fairly small but there were plenty of tables to go around. When I arrived around 2, there was no one else in the restaurant but I was never ignored. This place is one of my favorite sushi places. I will surely return in the future.

Food came out quick and the staff are always so kind!! Highly recommend. Vicky (the manager) is very kind and dedicated to her job at Lili Sushi!

It's really closer to 1.5 stars but that wasn't an option. As the late, great Anthony Bourdain once said, "never buy fish from a restaurant on Monday". But only SLIGHTLY less well known (besides this and starting a land war in Asia) is "never eat sushi from the burbs".....I should have listened. Eating a special dinner on Monday wasn't my fault, blame it on my birthday, but it was my fault for forgetting rules 1 and 2 above. But I guess it is my fault for choosing sushi in the burbs for my very special day. I have to say that the order I had delivered from Lili sushi takes the birthday cake in terms of worst sushi meal I've had so far in the Western Chicago suburbs. The quickest way for me to paint a picture is that my daughter threw up (twice after eating the unagi/cucumber role and my wife immediately spit out the hamachi appetizer. Please don't worry, it was touch and go for a while, but everyone is fine now. I think we did a good job ordering a wide selection of items to see which stood out: -Hamachi dice chilis -gyoza -sushi deluxe (with spicy tuna roll) -shrimp tempura roll -unagi/cucumber roll -spicy scallop roll -tonkatsu ramen Basically everything that had fish in it, I cannot in good conscious, recommend. Besides a couple of pieces, most was either chewy, off colored, or fishy. Unfortunately, the only picture I have to share is of the now infamous hamachi. The fact it looked thin, chewy and the color of un-baked pottery should have been a sign, but I put on a brave birthday face and ate more than one piece, and my poor digestive system is paying the price. Follow your instincts my fellow Illinois suburbanites and order the steak and potatoes on your special day. Or head to the city if you are feeling like sushi. Oh, why the half star? The ramen was actually pretty decent. Broth was rich, pork was flavorful and moist.

This corner restaurant is hidden but pushes out some great food. You walk into a darker room where you can see the chefs sushi making station. The tables are set with nice plating and utensils. The service is on point and on time. We ordered the fried cracker roll. The presentation struck me first. They took time to make a nice sushi roll and payed it out nicely with rose petals and salad. The sushi itself was phenomenal and on par with highly rated sushi places in downtown Chicago. The spicy tuna was nicely chopped, crunchy asparagus, eel sauce, cream cheese and crunch on top. The whole roll is deep friend in tempura and made the experience even better. The roll was amazing and drizzled with spicy mayo. You must check this place out if you are nearby.

New favorite sushi place!!! We will def be back! The BEST roll is the Aburi roll-seared super white tuna, chef sauce, truffle sauce, spicy Mayo, and scallions. It's creamy and delicious I could eat a hundred of these. The flavor is delicate and creamy, not at all fishy. The yellow tail scallion roll is so fresh tasting I highly recommend it and not fishy at all. The honey yuzu iced drink was refreshing and not overly sweet. The vegetable tempura was light and crispy. Perfectly fried! Everyone was raving about the ramen so we will be back for ramen and rolls!

Small place. I enjoyed the sushi but felt like it was a bit over priced compared to other places in the area for what you got.

I've repeatedly asked that they don't include so much rice in the chicken rice soup since it ends up more like wet chicken and rice, and yet they continue to do it. The flavor was pretty bad this time around anyway, so I will not be ordering it again. Strangely enough, the egg drop soup, which I do not normally care for, was quite good. So the quality varies, I guess. Speaking of quality, the vegetable eggrolls were over-cooked and dry, but the shrimp eggroll, which was part of a lunch order, was good. I also tried the fried rice for the first time and was not impressed at all. It looked like Panda Express fried rice, except Panda Express is better. Usually Chinese fried rice is much better than any chain. As for the main dishes, the sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken were good, but the broccoli chicken was just so-so. In the photos online it has a brown sauce, but it came with a white sauce. I'm not sure if that has to do with my special instructions asking to put garlic in it or not, though. I also asked in my special instructions not to provide utensils or any sauce but sweet and sour but they threw in hot mustard, soy sauce, and utensils anyway. So I still don't know if they can see the special instructions or just choose to ignore them. In any case, I will probably still order here occasionally since the location is convenient, but I'm not as thrilled with the food as I was in the past. That being said, they do pack the containers as full as possible which I appreciate as not all places do.

I went with the bento box B with the teriyaki chicken, and I can't really pick a clear standout. The teriyaki chicken was cooked perfectly and just hit right, but the fried vegetables were just as impressive. Light, crispy, not greasy at all. And yes, I said vegetables... I know, right. They kind of balance each other out, and honestly both were equally good for different reasons. I also grabbed a side of crab rangoon and yeah... those were crazy good. Crispy outside, creamy inside, just straight addictive. Only complaint is you get three. That's it. I could've put down 30 without even thinking about it. What I really liked is this place doesn't try too hard. The food is clean, fresh, and consistent. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. It's not some flashy, overhyped sushi spot, it's just solid across the board. The space is smaller and more on the cozy side, which honestly works in its favor. Easy to relax, not loud or chaotic.
