This was my first experience with this company and will likely be my last. For starters, the scheduling team was very difficult. The arborist said they were running 1 week or more out, and then the scheduling team tells me (without asking) that the crew will be there tomorrow (which did not work for me). They would not commit to large windows (like anytime after 12pm) and would only give whole days as an option. When we finally got something scheduled, I still got text messages about the appointment being on the wrong date. We ultimately scheduled this for afternoon window and were told we would get a heads up when the crew was on their way. On the day of, despite an afternoon window and a request for heads up, the crew shows up at 815am with no warning. We were deliberate about the timing because we have a newborn and the mornings do not work. The crew overall did a fine job on the work but the cleanup left some to be desired. I had to spend an hour cleaning up my yard and my neighbor's yard with all of the twigs left over. I asked the arborist and the scheduler to have someone contact me about my experience and I never heard from anyone. This company had the opportunity to earn repeat business and dropped the ball. read more

This is the first time I used a tree trimming service as my trees were getting too large for myself and my landscapers to take care of. Their arborist came and gave us a quote for trimming 6 trees on our property. He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly and emailed me the quote right away, which was more reasonable than the other quote received. The crew arrived on time and were very efficient and competent. It consisted of two tree cutters and 2-3 helpers/assistants. I went out several times to check on them but they knew exactly what they were doing. Having taken a class on tree trimming at the Desert Botanical Garden myself I knew what not to do, and they did too. I gladly recommend them and will definitely use them again. read more

Set an appointment to trim our palm trees. Waited 3 weeks for them to show. When they did show, it was with only one guy who had no experience trimming palm trees. He quit half way though the first tree. They had no back up crews to cover our appointment and could not/would not reschedule. We took time off from work to let them in our backyard. We now have to find another company during the most busy time of the year for palm tree trimming. We do not recommend this unprofessional group. Beware. read more

This company is great! I got a quote to trim our large mesquite tree from them and Tree Pros--these guys quoted half the price of Tree Pros. Burt came to our house to give the quote--very friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. Didn't feel he was trying to upsell me. They scheduled the work within days and did a great job. This company was hired to trim trees within 5 feet from the roads in our subdivision. Instead they cut back branches and whole trees as much as 15 feet from the roads, without ever discussing with affected homeowners. The forester who did the actual cutting said the way it was done would cause other trees to die, but he was just following instructions from his boss... urge caution with these people. read more

Called the service to trim a large ficus tree on my front yard. I received my free estimate and agreed on the price. The estimating person told me that someone will call me to set up date and time of the service. The next day, I received a phone call from Gary who told me, he will be at my house on a specified day and time. I agreed and told him I'll be home. The day before the service Gary called me and left a message to call him back asap to confirm my appointment. Working nights, I was unable to get his call. I called him the next day, 2 hours before the appointment to confirm. Gary told me that because I didn't call him back the day before, the appointment is cancelled and he will need to reschedule me for next week. Being somewhat disappointing, I said, I wish he told me that he will call me again to confirm. We agreed on date and time during our first phone call. He apologized and told me that it's not my fault. He said he will call me right back to set up another appointment. I waited the whole day but he never called back. I took a day off work for this and wasted my time.I guess they had a better gig planned and I wasn't worth their time. read more
