I would not recommend AMS to landlords, property managers, or busy property owners. My experience…read moreinvolved missed work, billing issues, poor communication, and virtually no accountability when problems arose. * Billed for service that was not fully performed. I was scheduled and billed for lawn service on July 21. My tenant later sent me photos on July 23 showing the lawn in very poor condition and asked what was going on. I contacted AMS myself and was told the crew had apparently been unable to access the backyard because of an issue with the gate. No one from AMS contacted me to let me know the work had not been completed, yet my card was charged the full amount for the visit. * Had to catch and correct a billing discrepancy myself. AMS charged me $195 for an "irrigation audit" and told me that amount would be credited toward the repair if I proceeded with the work. I approved an $880 irrigation manifold repair--and was then charged for both the repair and the audit. The promised credit was not applied automatically. I only received it after noticing the discrepancy myself, calling AMS, and asking them to correct it. * Expensive work with almost no follow-up. Despite spending hundreds of dollars on irrigation repairs and ongoing property maintenance, I received no meaningful follow-up communication or photos documenting the completed work. * Repeated requests for property photos were ignored. Because I do not live at the property, I specifically requested photos so I could verify its condition and the work being performed. Those requests repeatedly went unanswered. * A major irrigation issue went unnoticed. The irrigation timers were apparently not checked, and plants along an entire side of the property were ultimately lost. At no point did AMS alert me that there was a watering problem. When the issue became apparent, I saw no meaningful effort to acknowledge what had happened, determine how it had been missed, or propose a solution. What is most frustrating is that none of these problems required extraordinary service to avoid. I expected basic communication when work could not be completed, accurate billing, reasonable documentation of expensive repairs, and someone paying enough attention to the property to flag an obvious irrigation problem. Instead, managing AMS became another job for me: checking whether work had actually been performed, reviewing invoices for errors, repeatedly asking for photos, and discovering property problems after damage had already occurred. I brought these items up with the Operations Manager over the phone and email and was consistently disappointed in their responses. For a homeowner who needs a landscaping company they can trust to manage a property without constant supervision, I would advise looking at other companies. Attached photos show the property several days after my card was charged for service that did not take place.

He was very quick with responding and we set up an estimate that unfortunately got canceled due to our lovely monsoon season. He rescheduled for the next day and showed up right on time which I know from experience is a very hard quality to find in most landscaping company's. Garnicas Landscaping showed up at 7am and was finished by 7.30. Not only was it quick but very professional. They did not cut any corners and truly showed there expertise! My property is very weird with no side gate or access to the patio with out coming through the house. They were very careful not to make a mess bringing everything through the house and not to ding the doors with there equipment. Overall I am extremely impressed, Garnicas Landscaping is a professional, punctual, fair priced, team of experts that I have faith would do an amazing job on even the biggest jungle!! I was supposed to hire a company to come get the backyard into manageable length so I could then take over doing the gardening, but after seeing how good of a job they did. I feel like I might be asking for a monthly quote! ** Update 3/30/20** I let my backyard/ jungle get out of control again and Garnicas Landscaping came to the rescue! When I tell you guys this is a team of rock stars I mean it to the fullest! Words can't describe the amazing Job they do every time they come out. So this time I took some before and after pictures to let you be the judge.

I paid $1,000 in cash as a deposit and an additional $2,375 via Venmo for materials at his request. After payment was made, the project was delayed multiple times. Only minimal framing work was completed, and the concrete pour that was scheduled never happened. Communication then stopped completely. I made multiple attempts to contact him by phone and text and received no response. I also requested a refund, which was not returned. As of now, I am out $3,375 with no completed work. I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring this contractor.

I called Jason of Bros Tree Care (BTC) because I had admired his crew's work on a neighbor's yard awhile back. Jason answered my call in person and came out at the end of the day to assess my situation. I gave him a long list of needed services. I asked him to straighten and re-stake the toppled mesquite, prune and trim three other large trees, remove an agave, cut out dead branches from a yucca, and shape some bushes. He provided a comprehensive estimate and a total price his competitors could not match. He and his crew of three brothers came out on a boiling hot Saturday and began working with exceptional efficiency, safety, and expertise. It was amazing to watch their coordinated efforts, especially when all four of them pounded huge stakes into my rocky soil to re-secure my fallen mesquite. I thanked them all for their super-human work and wondered how they had the energy to go on to their next job. I am writing this review six weeks after the services provided by BTC. My re-staked fallen tree has survived three wind storms and a torrential microburst (60+ mph). Thanks to practical and artistic pruning cuts, my other trees have leafed out and look better than ever. I know I will need additional yard work, so I will be calling Jason again and recommending BTC to friends and neighbors. BTC merits more than five stars for their achievements. Thanks for exceptional service, expertise, and reliability! Greg, Scottsdale, AZ

The simple task was to upkeep the yard in the condition it got cleaned to for certain amount. They have been failing to do the job if supervision is not applied. Furthermore, when you ask them why they stopped watering the bushes for example, the answer was to pay them $25 more per visit so they hold the hose for 5 min. They do not upkeep the yard, the trees started to die, too much weed killer as well, perhaps. We never watered those bushes when we lived there, they are native to the desert and never died. The yard grows some weeds, oops, it is $120 more to spray the " extra" weeds. Because they have not being upkeeping or over spraying with weed killer, the bushes and the small trees started to die. I have a dead young palm tree as well. When you tell them to do what you have being paying them for, it is an extra $100 per visit. What have you been doing for the money you get? The bushes and small trees are the only things to maintain. Have you being mowing the rocks? When you do the " cleaning and maintenance trip" and you charge without getting the job done consistently, then ask for extra money to do what you were getting paid for and you did not do, it is a scam. $220 per hour for yard maintenance visit?
