After shopping around; doing my research, comparing 2 other companies products, and service maintenance fees, I'm happy to say that I have chosen a great deal! The first company quoted me for 4, 4.0 Megapixel Bullet Cameras which costed more and come to find out, they weren't in business very long; don't have as much man-power for maintenance and not as reliable. The second company didn't impress me; they didn't even use Bullet cameras - only Dome; but I was told that Dome cameras are better for indoor because of dust/cleaning, so I'd rather have bullets. I decided to keep shopping around and research. 3rd times a charm! I bought an 8 Channel NVR and installed 4, 4K 8.0 Megapixel Bullet Cameras - Best Clarity I could find - made for outdoors. I also purchased separately; a 4K Monitor at BestBuy to view at home. It's cheaper to buy your own monitor. Lifeline Fire & Security is well worth the price and I have room for 4 more Cameras on the 8 Channel NVR for future camera add-ons. Clarity is great and it's so fun and convenient to view Live from my App when I'm away from home. Lee was very helpful in explaining the products and installation, programming, maintenance fees, during consultation. Ernie and Ray installed the cameras in one day and returned to tweak it after. With some help from their other tech guy Stewart; trouble shooting the App and adjusting Playback - all worked out well! Customer service from Marissa is excellent! She is very nice and helpful. Very reliable service. Mahalo for excellent service and look forward to doing business with you in the future.

I truly appreciate the time you took to talk with me about my alarm system..You took common courtesy to an uncommon level and I'm so grateful for your help. Ray you're the best! I appreciate your time and patience spent repairing my alarm. You went above and beyond, warmest thanks.

As much as we wanted…read moreher to stay in the Ewa Beach/ Kapolei, Makakilo area where are all the family stays, she insisted staying in Aston Waikiki Banyan in an Airbnb so the kids could go beach nearby . Well on 5-17-26, my brother in law and niece got stuck in the elevator at Aston (at Waikiki banyan). My sister looked for help and found a security guard who directed her to the man in the video. He gave my sister attitude when she asked for status after an hour passed while my brother in law and young niece were still stuck. He replied with " there's nothing I can do about it, it's your fault it's going to be billed to your room". My sister was dumbfounded and asked him what he's even talking about. Naturally they got into a verbal altercation. He then continued to provoke her by walking up near her telling her to "go f*** yourself " . I will tell you my sister is very timid and it takes A LOT for her to stand up for herself so this is proof she was pushed too far. She called the police and they couldn't help. She went to the front desk at Aston and they also could'nt help and were rude to her. Finally the elevator maintenance showed up and also confirmed this security was unprofessional and out of line and shouldn't have behaved that way! Another reason why bitter locals like this give us a bad name. If you do not want to work with mainlanders /tourists who visit the aīna, do NOT work in Waikiki! It's simple! I hope this man is reprimanded. Not okay! Do better and show Aloha!!

When I later upgraded to new sensors, they came back to reprogram those quickly. They're professional, friendly, and clearly experienced. Onsite, they explained in detail how the screen sensors, hardwired system, and wireless components all work together, which gave me a solid understanding of the setup. Service has always been prompt and easy to schedule. Thus far we've had excellent service from Jim and the crew, and I highly recommend Security Alarm Shop.

We have had four different companies service our business for the last 20 plus years. We had the clinic hardwired back when we first opened up, which was like the standard back then. I really love the low maintenance and reliability of a hard wired system. Several years ago I decided to switch companies to someone who could offer more interfaces with my cel phone. I selected Aloha Alarm because of all the great reviews on Yelp. They were great at first and reasonably priced. I like the Alarm.Com interface and was happy. Then the panel started saying that the cel phone interface would need to be upgraded. They said my panel would need to be replaced and quoted me over $2200 for the installation? Seriously we were customers for about 4 years and the new panel was about $400 on Amazon. Plus they wanted another 4 year contract. I then learned that the company was sold and the new mainland based company did not have as much Aloha. I was out of contract so I searched for an alarm company. To my surprise Security Alarm Shop had great reviews. We had used them for years for our pagers. (Yes I know it's old but still loved that thing). Anyway Jim gave me a great deal on the panel (I think it was free, but I can't remember). This was over a year ago and they have been great. They changed the panel and keypads. I had to change to the Honeywell Total Control app which I don't like as much as the Alarm.Com but that was because I wanted a Honeywell panel. I requested service to replace a couple of old glass break and motion sensors which were 20 years old. They charged me just the cost of the equipment and did the service for free. Plus my monthly service rate is really affordable. I really like these guys. I was contemplating using ring security and doing the install and monitoring myself but as this is a business I wanted more of an expert to service and maintain the system. I couldn't be happier. I plan to install ring camera ms to supplement but I know the base system is solid.

I told him what I needed, and we walked over to my van to take a look. I have a newer 3rd-gen Acty--maybe one of the first on the island--and Kent took his time inspecting the interior to understand how the locks and windows worked. He was incredibly thorough, checking every door and window carefully. I was a little concerned about drilling into the van or interior panels, but he explained how their alarm systems are installed and even brought out some parts to show me. That helped me decide where things could be mounted to keep everything as clean and minimal as possible. I also mentioned that when I first got the van, all the doors used to lock/unlock with the key, but they randomly stopped working. He said he could take a look at that too. Kent walked me through all the different alarm options and recommended the best one for my specific setup, especially considering the van is over 25 years old. I wanted something high-quality, and he got me set up with a 2-way alarm system and the mobile app add-on with GPS tracking. Someone had missed their appointment that morning, and he was able to get me in the same day! Not only did they install the alarm, but they also fixed my power door locks--now I can lock and unlock all my doors (including the trunk) with the remote. The install was super clean: no holes, no visible wires. 10 out of 10--highly recommend. Aside from his professional and knowledgeable work, Kent is just a genuinely nice guy and super easy to talk to. Thank you so much--I'm beyond happy with my alarm!
