Stopped by Phoenix Landing to start a night out with friends! Overall pretty solid experience -- they had good drinks and an okay menu. My margarita was pretty tasty and my friend's mule was a hit as well. We also grabbed the hummus which we enjoyed. We will be back!

The food here is better than what you'd expect from a local sports bar. We've gotten the steak, chicken quesadilla, pizza Margherita, salad - and they've all been pretty good. This is the place for sports viewing- during major sports events all 10 screens will be tuned to the same game so you can watch from any part of the dining area. Service was a little slow on Friday night- they seem a little short-staffed given the number of diners.

Came to watch a game, as they have a TV on the outside patio. Got a couple of beers to drink while enjoying the game. Was pretty packed but luckily we found a spot. Didn't try any food this time but would come back to watch another game.

Great spot to grab a drink and dance the night away! This divey looking bar opens its floors up, and brings out the DJ for a fun night of dancing. It got very packed on a Friday night with mostly a young crowd. The drinks were okay, there are some TV's at the bar. I believe you can dine here since there were tables around, but not sure of the food menu. There was a cover to get in. I believe this is standard cover on the weekends. I was told before 10pm there is no cover.

Came here on a Wednesday evening for trivia and overall, my group and I were pretty disappointed by the experience which is sad to say. We probably won't be coming back either in the end. The event starts at 7pm every Wednesday, but I highly suggest going early to grab a table. Someone in our party was there starting at 6:20 and we were lucky to be by the stage, but that's where our luck kind of stops. The hosts did their best to speak over the crowd, but despite being asked to be louder and louder, the microphone system was faulty and the rest of the people in the room just kept getting louder to speak over them anyway. It made the experience impossible as we couldn't hear the hosts despite being near the stage so I can only imagine how bad it must've been for folks in the back. The questions themselves weren't bad and the format was interesting enough, it's just that the entire process was way too long ( we left early at around 9:30, implying that the entire trivia night probably takes closer to 2.5 - 3 hours ) and the rest of the people there really didn't seem to care that no one could hear the hosts. The food was also subpar - the nachos were pretty tasteless and one of my group mates had a mediocre burger with cold buns. It made sense for the food not to be great though as everyone arrives at once and the kitchen probably isn't prepared to handle a huge wave like that no matter how much they prep. In the end, definitely a lackluster experience. Kudos to the hosts and the staff working as they did their best to accommodate the huge crowd, it's just that overall, the various factors of the rest of the clientele and various circumstances led to an inadequate experience.

Great for live music and an actually affordable bourbon drink in Boston! 1 mile walking from Marriott Cambridge, worth it.

Visited for the weekend and came in twice due to the awesome vibe and service from the staff. Excellent place to watch a premier league match or catch one of their movie nights (In Bruge was excellent). Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

Very quick, although the food came out shortly after the appetizer, you can't really complain about that! The chicken sandwich and nachos were delicious, and I could've eaten my weight in the fries. Great service too!

    Happy campers!

It's only open for brunch on Sundays, which combined with always being seated immediately makes it feel like a hidden gem. The back patio is quiet, shaded, and sheltered from wind. The food shines. Of course the egg scramble and the Benedict's were fantastic, but every piece of every plate feels deliberate and done with intention--nothing is an afterthought. - Their home fries are my all-time favorite--thick, well-seasoned, soft on the inside with some crisp on the outside. - - The English muffin toast has a crunchy golden surface and soft inside. - The whipped cream on the French toast feels luxurious. - Oyster shooters are a fun treat, as a lover of both fried clams and bloody Mary's. - They were kind enough to accommodate us with a half order of their (outstanding) French toast for dessert I'd note there's no espresso drinks on the menu, although I did enjoy the black coffee. I like trying new spots, but if the question is Sunday brunch then Avenue is always my answer.

There is literally fun everywhere you look from the panda stuffed animal riding a tiger on the wall to the hilarious shrek pillow. Coming right when they open I was able to see these things that you would likely not see in the evening. But to be fair I came right when they opened since it is first come first serve. A majority of the drinks were more on the savory side which was very interesting like "may all your bacon burn" with bacon bites at the top of the drink. The drinks my friend had were all stunning with the use of egg yolk to elevate the drink. We ended the evening by walking over to Bow Market and trying Viet Citron which was so DANG GOOD my gosh. The to go orders were insane but looks like they are doing very well despite recently opening in. I got the grilled lemongrass pork ribs bowl and youtiao and the side sauce was so good. The ribs were all very meaty. It looks small but I was surprised how full I was after having it. Nice night of drinks and food. I arrived at 7:30 and was seated right away (it wasn't that busy yet). I was seated at a high top and not sure if there was wait staff or if I just self serve at the bar. The bar was close to me (Sally's is relatively small) so I walked over to the bar, ordered a beer (Lamplighter IPA, very good) and asked for a menu. The bartender offered to come over and take my order but when I had decided what I wanted I saved him the trip and walked back over to the bar to order. I got the Sally's Burger: 8oz burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. The bartender delivered the food very quickly and to order (medium rare). The burger was excellent and came with well seasoned French fries and a dill pickle spear. It was an excellent meal and reasonably priced. Not long after eating, the band started and the place was hopping! They have a unique stage set up where the backdrop is the windows to the street. It was entertaining to watch people on the sidewalk stop and listen for a minute. The sound quality is excellent. I looked ahead at their entertainment calendar and saw a lot of good shows. There is no doubt I will be returning to hear some great local music and enjoy an excellent meal and cold beer!

There was an incredible band playing Irish music with no cover charge, and the drink prices were very good. Add in good bartenders and a dog-friendly patio outside, and you've got the best Irish Pub in Boston, IMHO. Glad to have found it; hope to return on next visit.
