These honey hott wings tho?? LAURA DID NOT LIE
    Dee C.

Awe man Laura is the absolute best. She put me on to the best wings, the best days to go there. Wed trivia, Thurs Karaoke. She works both those nights. Listen no lie it was uncomfortable going in there cause the demographic but it's so welcoming and again Laura is in there talking to you like she's hosting you at her house. Now the food wasn't what I was expecting. But those wings omg, they are so good. Cooked to perfection, great sized wings and no saggy skin. I usually only eat breaded wings but these are something else and that honey hot sauce. Best part is we had several drinks, tons of food and it was under 80$ so price is right. I will Def be going back.

I love a good dive bar and The Pub did not disappoint. Friendly service and very reasonable prices. The appetizers are solid and the wings are delicious! Bonus points for pitchers of beer. Can't wait to go back again and try a burger.

Hard to beat The Pub, ice cold beers, great service and great food. One of the best places around to watch a game.

Food is mediocre-but-serviceable pub fare, except for the buffalo wings, which are excellent.

A little pricey, but in my opinion, very much worth it!…read more My friend and I went here for dinner the other day. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. I got the mango sticky rice cocktail, which was served in an ADORABLE mug. The cocktail was strong ($15) but sweet like juice, a dangerous combination. I loved it and had to force myself to savor it with slow sips instead of guzzling it. We shared the pu pu platter for two, which was a bit expensive at 50-something dollars but came with a LOT of food. Plenty for two people and maybe even enough for four. The platter came with a variety of delicious things. There were chicken skewers and beef skewers, and both were cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the beef was a great medium rare. There were also scallion cheese quesadillas (yum!), crab Rangoons, and fried fish. The only thing I didn't really like was the vegan egg roll. I could really tell it was vegan, and the veggie filling was too salty for my taste-buds. We also ordered the ma la tater tots. I was skeptical about ordering tater tots at an Asian restaurant, but they were fantastic! Crispy perfection and well-seasoned with a light spice. In addition to delicious food, the restaurant offered great vibes with whimsical decor, friendly staff, and a cute menu inspired by Where the Wild Things Are.

The drinks were super fun, we loved trying them all and checking out the cute mugs(which you could…read morealso purchase)! The only food we ordered were the tater tots and they were great! The aioli was meh, but the tots were solid enough to stand on their own! The only downside was the service was slow, once we were finally able to order drinks they came out within 5 minutes though. I'd recommend this place for a fun novelty night out!

I'm…read morenormally a bit suspicious of prix fixe menus, but I was taken with Russell House Tavern's because none of their prix fixe items were on the menu, and they looked delicious. The prix fixe menu was $46 for an appetizer, entree and dessert. I got the French onion soup (with short rib!), duck cassoulet and the profiteroles. The French onion soup was more substantial than a typical French onion soup which is saying something - cheesy, breast and meaty. I probably could have just eaten the French onion soup. The duck cassoulet and profiteroles were solid, and I particularly enjoyed the duck confit. Wonderful service.

The place flirts with a nice classy vibe but there's something, I don't know, cheap about it. Like the Hollywood studio version of a speakeasy - it was only meant to be used for a couple of scenes and now it's been here for years. And this is really no fault of theirs but when you have a bunch of screaming trust funders sloshing their drinks around, it really washes the class right out. This is maybe more a review of Harvard than this place. The food is also pretty generic and unconscionably expensive. It's the $20 burger effect - if a place has a $20 burger on your menu, it has forgotten how food works. It has become a social experiment. One thing I will say is the staff is very attentive and nice - promotes this from a bad place to a meh place - kind of inoffensive. Again - maybe that's kind of a review of Harvard Sq, generally.
