He and his apprentice Luke worked efficiently and quietly, protected the work areas, and left everything spotless. Brody also used a thermal imaging camera to confirm each wall cavity was properly filled, which gave me a lot of confidence in the workmanship. The results exceeded my expectations. The patched holes are barely noticeable--I was prepared for my walls to look like a cheese board, but they look great. Brody was honest, fairly priced, and delivered excellent service from start to finish. The insulation product itself impressed me as well. As a façade engineer, I understand the value of insulation, but I didn't expect to feel such a dramatic difference so quickly. What they impressed me most was how they went above and beyond whenever an unexpected issue came up. Catching a hidden leaking pipe to helping me find a plumber within the hour, fixing and painting my attic door, and coming back promptly to address an airflow issue, they consistently made me feel like they truly cared about my home. I'm extremely happy with the service (I'd give /5) and would highly recommend them! Long Review: I reached out initially to cancel when I decided on another quote. That's when Matan reached out to me and asked if he could stop by ASAP. His initial evaluation was very clear as well as his recommendations. He explained all the details very clearly with visual examples as well (booklet, video). For my 820 sq ft small attic (3-4 ft tall), his quote was the best compared to 3 other companies that I had reached out to for the amount of work done. I received the quote immediately after Matan left my place. Matan and his team (led by Tony) completed the home prep, hepa filter, insulation removal/vacuuming, roden proofing, air sealing, sanitizing, R44 blown in insulation (15"), air duct repair, and pulled up air ducts where applicable. They also recommended installing junctions for the open wires they found in the attic, which was a fire hazard. There is a lifetime warranty on the insulation, a year warranty on the repair work, and a 3 year warranty on the rodent proofing! During the visit, Tony + the team were prompt and finished all the hard work in one working day (9am-5pm) When all the insulation was out, Tony told me that there was a corroded water pipe that was leaking occasionally. I assure you That definitely would not have been caught by me... Matan then helped me look for a same-day plumber (within the hour the issue was found) who was able to fix the pipe. He also helped fixed my attic door that was broken and even painted it for me. Tony and his team then finished the work after plumber finished. I really appreciated their hard work, attention to detail, especially in the smaller attic. After work was done/a day later, I had mentioned an issue to Matan that I wasn't feeling any air in the house and that I couldn't hear any airflow. I thought maybe the insulation is that good Actually, it was not the fault of his team or anyone. there was a missed hole in my cassette style air handler in the ceiling where the insulation was getting through. This holes has been there since the house was made so again I want to say it was very easy to miss and nobody's fault. Immediately after reporting the issue, Matan came by to clean the air handler blower wheel and fixed the two holes with wire mesh and expanding foam sealer. This issue would've never been caught without the help of his teams. He did this during his very busy schedule, and made accommodations for me. He also even fixed the air handler door for me as the door seems to be wet. After that fix, he stayed to test the air flow is good and we could hear the airflow again. I hope what you take away from the review is: - Matan and his team really care and pay attention to detail. Not only that, if there's any issues, they will promptly do anything to fix it ASAP. There were so many small details (leaking pipe, broken attic door, air handler door, holes in air handler box on sealing, getting a plumber within the hour) that they helped me solve. Matan kept reassuring me that "I got you" and it is 100% true. I am extremely happy with the service and how they showed up for me more than just the minimum effort. Their mark up on the fans was over 300% and the guarantee of after service was exposed as a lie when Leo simply yelled that he wasn't there and couldn't help and I didn't need the app anyway. The humidity hardly decreased, the mold continues to worsen and no one returns calls. To sum up, after $18,500 I still have mold. Definitely advise you to find another company.

This was a very expensive quote and we decided to move forward in stages to help break up the costs. He agreed and quoted to install French drains around the interior perimeter and a sump pump in our crawl space. On the surface the work looked good. However, after a rain I went into the crawl space to evaluate the drainage. The quote was for perforated pipes to be installed over 12" deep, not one drain was more that 4". I found 3 walls that were left without drainage, I also found a drain that was slopped away from the pump, I took pictures with a bubble level, causing water to stand in another corner of the crawl space. I continued to try and contact Leo but I wouldn't get a response from him. After a couple months I was able to schedule his team to come back to repair the work. I went back into the crawl space to see the repairs and found another issue of a solid pipe being used, which does absolutely nothing for ground water. I have removed that, contacted the company and no one has responded. I would be careful when hiring this company and do your follow up after their work.

Spencer also gave us a longterm warranty on their workmanship should any additional issues arise in the leak location. Very impressed by the type of business this company runs & would highly recommend. I will personally shy away from solar/ roofing combo companies now bc many have high turnover rates given the reduction in California subsidies- sticking with a roofing first company like Smart Roofing would be the way to go.

Throughout the process before the roof even started, the company was very attentive and communicative. From Spencer coming out to inspect the property, to updates over the weekend regarding possible rain delays, I appreciated the effort to keep me informed. Lydia in the office was also very accommodating with several texts and emails prior to the start of the project. Once the project began, I received texts letting me know David would be the project manager while Carlos and his crew handled the work onsite. I honestly do not know if David was present on the first day because when I drove by the property, the crew was extremely busy working and I chose not to step into the work zone for safety reasons. On the second day, I did step onto the property to speak with Carlos and ask questions. Carlos answered everything I asked and helped me better understand the roofing process, which I really appreciated. The crew was clean, efficient, professional, and overall the new roof and gutters look great. Maybe this was a little unconventional, but because the house is currently empty and I live in another county, I personally brought both the deposit and final check to the office. I also stayed in town during the roofing project just in case immediate access to the property was needed. Everyone throughout the process was courteous and accommodating. I also felt the overall value of the project was fair for the quality of materials, workmanship, communication, and the upgraded roofing system that was installed. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would have appreciated a final text or email from the project manager letting me know the project was officially completed. When speaking with Carlos, he did let me know the crew planned to finish on a particular day, and they clearly did. I spoke with Lydia on the phone the day I decided to bring the final check to the office, which was what would have been day 3 based on the original 2-3 day timeline they gave me, although the crew actually completed the roof in just 2 days, yes very fast for a small roof. Lydia was kind enough to call David while I was there to see if the project had officially been completed, so perhaps I may have jumped the gun a little. Still, I would have appreciated a final confirmation directly from the project manager once everything was officially wrapped up. Other than that, I'm very happy with the final result.
