For the most part, the move went as planned. However, I was assured by Beau the female packers would take care to properly pack and protect floral arrangements, this was not true! Every floral arrangement I didn't personally pack and take with me in a U-Haul, was destroyed. No care taken whatsoever, it's like kindergarten kids packed them. Also, think twice about the way they insist on packing your clothes, which are not put in wardrobe boxes, everything, including my husband's expensive suits and sport coats, along with all my clothes, are a wrinkled mess! read more

While planning a move from MA to Dallas TX, the mover we used for years was unable to go this distance so I had to find another. Upon searching the net, it was my good fortune to discover Phoenix Express in Dallas, a highly rated family-owned business. They were completing another move in MA at the same time we were moving, so they were able to load our items on the way back to TX. Their workers were amazing. They worked at top speed carefully wrapping furniture and loading boxes from a 40-year accumulation. Upon arriving in Dallas, we had a slight delay in moving in, but this company went above and beyond to accommodate this change. They again carefully unloaded the contents and everything arrived in perfect condition. So, if you're planning a move, I highly recommend Phoenix. They'll treat your belongings with loving care at a very fair price. read more

I was moving my studio apartment into a storage unit only a few miles away (both within the Dallas area). I called to get an estimate for my move and Jeff kindly and promptly sent over instructions on how to do so. Jeff and Angie were very responsive to any of my questions and gave me a comprehensive estimate. I confirmed the move with them and they explained what I could expect on the day of my move. Since I wasn't moving a large amount of items and only travelling a few miles, I expected the move to go fairly quickly. Three movers showed up on time at my apartment ready to go. I was still packing a few things away, so they kindly started with the items I had ready and started disassembling and wrapping the furniture. They worked very efficiently and carefully. We then travelled to the storage facility and they were patient while it took me a few minutes to figure out how to access my unit. They, once again, moved all the items extremely efficiently and the whole move only took about two hours. I will be gladly using Phoenix Express again when I move into my next apartment. Thank you for the hassle-free experience and the great service! read more

Phoenix Express was very responsive and professional throughout the processes of scheduling, quoting, and moving. All three of my movers were kind and professional, and genuinely pleasant to be around. I am a professional stager, so I've used a dozen different moving companies in the dfw area, and these guys are my go-to now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

I chose Phoenix Express from these Yelp reviews and felt it important to add mine to the list! It's not often I rush to leave a review the same day but we just completed our move with these guys and were blown away by how smoothly everything went. They fit us in their schedule on relatively short notice, called the morning of to confirm they were on the way, and showed up exactly on time. The guys on our crew were friendly and absolute pros. They handled all of our stuff with care and there were no surprises except that they finished the job early! No hidden fees, no hassles, no overcharges. They didn't haggle or guilt for tips either like some moving companies do, and because of their professionalism we tipped them generously for a job very well done. I've moved quite a bit and this was hands down the most stress-free it's ever been. Again I'm so impressed and can't believe how no-nonsense it was. Stop looking around and call them now! read more

Wow, I never knew that moving could be stress-free. Our family has moved dozen of times, including 3 interstate moves and we have never experienced a quality of moving service like Phoenix provided. They are absolutely the best! The guys loaded and unloaded our things lightening fast and with extreme care. We did not have to share a truck with anyone else and they took one of our cars on the trailer. Three guys drove the truck to Boston in 2.5 days and were there, ready to unload, the second we got keys to our new place. This is the only company we will be using again. Phoenix Express should be a model for every moving company out there! read more

I have move long distance 4 times and Phoenix Express Moving by far was the BEST movers that I have ever experienced. The estimate for the move was exactly what I was charged when the move was completed. No surprises. All of my furniture including a 150 lb mirror arrived in the same condition as when it was picked up. The movers were extremely professional and went above and beyond the call of duty in that once everything was setup, they asked me to walk through and look at each room to ensure that all the furniture was positioned exactly where I wanted it or would like to make changes. I would utilize Phoenix Express Moving in the future and highly recommend you select Phoenix Express Moving for your moving needs. read more

This was my second time using Phoenix Express for moving. The scheduling staff was very thorough and attentive! The moving crew was efficient, friendly, and took great care in moving our 3 bedroom home from Midland to Dallas. Definitely recommend them! read more

Human being here! Phoenix Express Moving moved my furnishings, clothes and BMW x1 a few months ago from Plano to Phoenix (I also utilized their packing services). These days it seems that so very few companies and employees actually perform their duties and responsibilities well, let alone provide acceptable customer service. This group is an exception to that in every way! The nicest, most courteous individuals that you will meet who all understand who the client is! Exceptional on all fronts. Packing services are definitely worth it and everything including furniture, valuable oil paintings and Venetian glass vases all arrived in perfect condition - not one scratch, dent or broken item! Loading crew fast, careful and efficient. Express moving is exactly that - they loaded up the truck in Plano and left the next morning to drive straight through to Phoenix and delivered my belongings within a few days. No hiring 3rd party brokers or unloading stuff onto other trucks. Completed unloading and setup of bed, tvs, etc as promised. No changing their quote after the fact. They are the best of the best and may cost a bit more (not that much) and are worth every cent. Moving anxiety can be substantially lowered if you hire this crew, who have their own employees who have been appropriately trained and provide a seamless experience! Please tip these folks - they work hard and protect your belongings! read more

This company is simply outstanding. I vacillated back and forth on various options for a move from Dallas to North Carolina and settled on these guys because, unlike many in the moving business, they do all of the work themselves and don't subcontract out. I dealt with both of the owners and the crew who physically completed my move, and all were professional and capable. I initially had a bit of a misunderstanding about an aspect of the contract with Phoenix, and the company addressed the issue very fairly. As one of the guys involved said to me, " we are good guys and we want to treat people right." Well Phoenix made good on that statement and I am confident they will for you as well. I unreservedly recommend those group for your move, whether local or longer distance. It's hard to find good quality service like this, but it does still exist! read more

My wife and I recently made our move from a downtown Dallas apartment to our new home in the 'burbs. Phoenix Express made moving our furniture stress-free and easy. Within 30 minutes of making the call to get a quote for our move, I was able to speak to the owner, Jeff, get an itemized quote, and schedule my move just 2 days later. Most importantly (for me) they were punctual. Late arrivals were my number one frustration with movers in the past and our guys arrived right on time. Although I don't plan on moving again in the near future, I would call Phoenix Express for my move again without a second thought. Highly recommend! read more

This review is WAY overdue. We are so grateful to Jeff and Angie, and their hardworking crew. My husband was moving to join me in Phoenix, just a few months after marriage, and Phoenix Express was quite honestly a Godsend. September 2017: my husband reached out to a couple different companies to give quotes on how much it would cost to move from Rockwall, TX to Phoenix, AZ. Jeff and Angie were first of all reasonable, but very honest and genuine. So of course, he went with them. Angie came the day before loading the truck, to pack up the house. It was great! It made the experience almost completely stress-free. She was efficient and clearly a pro at wrapping and boxing the household items, as well as utilizing every inch of box space. And she's a great multi-tasker, because we were able to enjoy some good conversation at the same time. The next day, Jeff and their crew came to load the truck. They were so fast at taking down the large pieces of furniture, and once again, efficient and smart with how to load the truck. The toughest part was the piano. They had to get the heavy piano out the front door, down steps, and into the truck, somehow bypassing the grass/front lawn -- and they did it, successfully. They had to get a little crafty, but it got done! At the end of the day, my husband's furniture and belonging from Texas reached our house safely. Again, they were so fast with unloading, I didn't have to think twice about doing anything. And the boys they hire to help out with these moves are just the most courteous and most polite folks ever. We felt more than comfortable trusting our belongings with them. They honestly put us at such ease, we felt as though we had known them from before. If we move again, I guess we will just have to fly out Angie, Jeff, and their crew to Phoenix to help us with the process here. After all, their name is "Phoenix" Express!! :). Thank you all for such a positive experience for some newlyweds who are new to this whole #adulting thing. read more

Phoenix Express Moving - Got to move my husband to Phoenix in Sept 2017, with the awesome folks of Phoenix Express!! - Movers Near Me - Dallas, Texas

This is the company I have used five times over the past 3 years . They have carried precious antiques, priceless heirlooms , marble Statues, and Childhood memories across the country as if it were their own. I recommend them without reservation . There is no better moving company for our family . Recently they brought furniture from Texas to Georgia to my son and his wife's first house . They even hung a mirror and secured a damaged hutch from a careless prior mover. Thank you Jeff and Angie for treating us like family. Jp read more

Called 10 moving companies and Phoenix Express was the ONLY company to immediately hear my inquiry, quote us (after receiving a very professional form to fill out), and seem to actually care. They were also affordable, professional, and the movers were so genuinely careful. I would 100% use them again and would refer them to anyone in the area. This is a family owned and operated business so it also feels good to support them! I believe in putting your money where your heart is and I got to do that by choosing Phoenix Express. 11 stars!!! read more

Jeff reached out to me to rectify the situation and give them another chance. Had a good experience with them the second time around.

I had a long distance move, Dallas to San Francisco. I've used the traditional van lines before with mixed results. After seeing all the great reviews on Yelp, I decided to move forward with Phoenix Express. For context, they were moving me from a new construction condo in Dallas to a 4th floor walk up in SF. I have some fairly expensive furniture and artwork. A complex move for any company. I'll admit I was nervous about it given my mixed experiences with other movers in the last. Well, turns out I was worried about nothing. Jeff, Angie, and the team at Phoenix Express did a phenomenal job. Not only did all of my items arrive in great shape, the movers themselves were excellent. They navigated my complex, narrow staircases to move some rather bulky items. In my experience, what separates the good from the great is communication and responsiveness. Jeff and Angie patiently addressed my questions, were highly engaged throughout the process, and checked in on me to make sure I was satisfied with the experience. Lastly, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the packing team (Ashley and Chloe) that they sent out. I was so pleased with the quality of the work that I had the team flown out to SF to handle the unpacking and organizing of my items. I'd strongly recommend Phoenix Express to anyone looking for top quality service. They may not be the cheapest option, but they are the best one. read more

We absolutely love this moving company . We originally moved from Downtown Dallas to Fort Worth an they moved us quickly an professionally. They took pride in making sure all our fragile stuff was wrapped an protected. The second time we moved was from a three story townhouse to a two bedroom an again they were quick professional as well they made sure to ask where we wanted stuff when it was being unloaded. Which made it so much easier when it came to putting stuff up . If we ever move again we will continue to use them. read more

The team from Phoenix that helped us move was nothing short of incredible. These guys were some of the most efficient and professional contractors I've ever worked with. They showed up on-time, with enough space (and plenty to spare) for everything we needed to move out of a 3 bedroom house, and after a quick walkthrough to understand what we needed them to move, they got to work. Man, they are fast! Every time I turned around, there was another room cleared of boxes. They wrapped every single piece of furniture and now 2 days later I can confidently say not a single item was damaged whatsoever. They disassembled and reassembled beds, arranged furniture in the new house exactly as we asked, and were extremely polite and fun to talk to. From start to finish, I think it only took them 5 hours to pack, travel, and unpack everything. It's rare these days that I feel I have truly gotten the value out of what I pay contractors, but with Phoenix, there is no question. I can't recommend them enough if you need moving services! -Taylor read more

I would recommend Phoenix very highly. No hassle, on-schedule, reasonable prices and fantastic friendly team. Couldn't have gone better! I hired Phoenix Express to move with the following details: - move was within a 30 minute driving distance - move everything from my 3-bed 2-story town-home to a 2-story 5-bed 2-story single family home (with the exception of fridge, washer-dryer) - packing and moving both included - rooms had moderate furniture including beds which had to be disassembled before taking out; several items that needed to be unscrewed from the walls (shelves, office white boards etc.), curtains also needed to be taken down leaving the curtain rods - garage had a gym with a large Rogue rack and 300+ pounds of weight and heavy horse-stall mats each weighing 90 pounds - my wife was 7+month into pregnancy and I wanted her to stay stress free I have only great things to say about phoenix including: 1) Beau Danielson was great - he visited my home and surveyed within 15 minutes, described how the process would work and gave me a reasonable quote within a few hours - I did not negotiate the price since it seemed reasonable including the goods insurance 2) Chose a date online for the move; packaging was scheduled for Thursday while move was scheduled for Saturday 3) On Thursday Beau called to let me know that an earlier slot had opened up on Friday (if I chose or I could keep Saturday) which worked great and I took it 4) I had to do no follow up - packers called me the day before and so did the movers - they were right on schedule 5) The movers team from Phoenix is great - they followed my instruction to the dot - they even assembled a few furniture items in the new home that lay disassembled and unused in my old home; started 8:30AM at my old home and only took 20 minute break for lunch and finished well before 5PM 6) No nicks/ scratches anywhere on my stuff or my old/ new home; reassembly was perfect including my garage gym My wife stayed very happy throughout - mission accomplished! Thanks Beau and team! read more

Phoenix Express moved my mother from her home of several years into an apartment in a senior living community. I wish I could give a rating of higher than five stars - the service was excellent from the first communication through the entire move. Amazing customer service and results! I haven't Yelped in awhile but I had to let everyone know about the awesomeness that is Phoenix Express! They transferred all my furniture and packed boxes in bubble wrap to ensure safe delivery. The movers were super nice and professional. And, the whole process took less than 2 hours! They were the best part of the entire moving process! The cost ended up being lower than what I was originally quoted so that was another huge plus. I have nothing but good things to say about Phoenix Express. They were reasonably priced, took stellar care of our furniture, items, and clothing, and took care in re-assembling furniture. I also used the packing service, and it was very much worth the money- everything was thoroughly wrapped, boxes labeled, and nothing was broken on arrival. Stellar service and good communication- I would have no hesitation using Phoenix again or recommending them to others. read more

Great. They sent a lot of guys for load and unload so it went fast, and they took really good care of everything. Some fairly difficult (and expensive) furniture pieces that they transported unscathed, including a stone top Italian (complicated mechanism) dining table, 85 inch TV, and baby grand piano. Also helped me out by picking up some boxes from Home Depot that didn't fit in my car--truly above and beyond. No hesitation using them again. read more

Hands down Beau and the crew are the BEST movers in DFW!! Communication was very prompt throughout the moving process. Every item was perfectly wrapped and treated with great care. We moved from a house, with a 6-foot grand, and also from 3 10x20 storage units, into our new house. The crew showed up on time, ready to work hard, which they did for the next 11 hours. The crew showed up with 3 trucks, all of which we filled to the brim. I hope we never move again, but if we do, we would call Phoenix Express and no one else. Great company, great staff. My family and I recently used Phoenix Express to move us from TX to NJ relocating for a new job. Let me say that I have been through many many moves from my military days and now corporate moves. This move was by far the best from quality, to courtesy, integrity, thoughtfulness, timely, flexibility, quality, you name it they're just fantastic. Jeff and Angie made this move as painless as possible. The packers came and packed for 2 days and did a wonderful job. Jeff and his team loaded their trucks in one day and unloaded in one day (really just a few hours). Understand that this company is different than other moving companies, if you've used other companies in the past. Jeff owns the company and is also working along side the members of his team. His workers aren't just hired help, he treats them like family and it shows. They were very careful with my things and placed everything exactly where I wanted it. They reassembled everything they took a part, Jeff personally helped me rearrange my Lovesac at least a dozen times, and Jeff and Angie both helped me make my bed after putting it back together. They helped me locate the box the sheets were in and helped me make it. The level of care that they show is unlike any place I've ever used. They're so personable that by the end I didn't think of them as someone I hired, by someone I would want to do life with, and my wife feels the same way. Let me also say that my wife and I were trying to sell our house and had some contracts fall through. Because of that I had to change my move date several times. Jeff was understanding and flexible every single time; even encouraged me when I told him the bad news each time. Bottom line, if you use Phoenix Express, you will not be disappointed. read more

Phoenix Express recently moved a range out of a house we were remodeling. When we arrived at the site we found that our contractors had blocked in the range with construction materials. I assumed we would have to reschedule, but the movers did what movers do... they moved all of the construction materials out of the way to get the stove out of the house (at no additional cost). I enjoyed talking to both Jeff & Angie and will definitely use Phoenix Express for future moves. read more

We have moved 7 times in the last 20 years, and Phoenix Express was the best moving experience we have ever had. They are efficient, prompt, careful, and do exactly what they promise. Other companies are a bit of a toss up, you never know exactly what you are going to get on your move day. In contrast, Beau runs a consistent crew who all work together regularly. They load the truck and go directly on their way- resulting in the fastest turn-around we have ever had with an out-of-state move. On the day of the load they told us exactly when we would get our items. In an industry plagued by impersonal bargain movers who overpromise and under deliver, Beau provides a truly unique high-end customized service. I am so glad that we stumbled upon Phoenix! read more

What a great move! Beau and crew did a fantastic job moving us & car from DFW to Denver. I've done over 10 moves and this ranks probably the best experience. I'll break up the move into 3 areas Packing: 2 Girls came the day before and they took 5hrs to pack my entire 2.5br apartment. They wrapped everything, boxed it, labeled it, and took care of everything. They didn't slack and worked the entire time. Nothing came broken. They came right on time and communicated very well throughout the process Pickup in DFW: WOW ... crew of 15 movers came and moved me out in 90mins. I was shocked with how quick it was. They provided a COI, but it wasn't needed. Everything was wrapped appropriately and i was shocked how everyone was on time and how efficiently they worked Drop off: I had Hunter, Juan, and Evan. They drove directly from DFW overnight and came a little over 24hrs from when they left DFW. They dropped off another load before mine as well. The other load was in a separate truck so nothing was mixed (this is key as there was no co-mingling of items and no need for them to unload/reload items on the way). The 3 person crew worked quickly at my Denver location. They spent half the day being professional and making sure everything was in the right location. This was not a situation where they were rushing to get out and throwing all the boxes anywhere in the house to leave. They did great. The overall pricing was well worth it. They weren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Here are things that made this a great move: 1) This is a direct move with a dedicated truck - No uncertainty on when they're dropping off, no consolidating loads into a bigger truck where items can be damage. 2) Packing service is SO CHEAP. They provide packing at costs. 3) Beau did a great job coordinating and communicating. The only thing i can provide feedback on is Beau didn't tell me they offered unpacking service! I would have paid for that if i knew! Would use them again! read more

I've used Phoenix Express three times in the last few years, moving between an apartment to high rise apartment, high rise to house, and house in Dallas to an apartment in Austin. Everything was placed with care, and they were so patient to move things within the apartment until they were how I wanted them. I also moved the date of my move and they were so patient, and fit me into their busy schedule to accommodate the timing of my move. I also used their packing service while I worked from home one day, and they are trustworthy and packed everything thoroughly so nothing would break. They are friendly, efficient, and careful! Jeff, Angie and Phoenix Express really took care of us on a move recently. We had things kind of up in the air and ended up having two weeks to figure out how to get from Fort Worth, TX to Colorado Springs, CO. Jeff got us quoted, hooked us up with his packers, and overall took excellent care of us. The packers (one of whom was Angie) did an excellent, efficient job of getting our possessions into boxes safely. Cody and Tamar were two of the guys who came and loaded us up, and the two people who delivered to us in COS. They took excellent care of our possessions, and everything arrived the same way it had been loaded onto the truck. I really appreciate them all working with us, and providing the level of care that they did! I would be happy to use Phoenix Express again in the future, if I had the opportunity. read more
