    Fancy instant noodle dish 5/5

Food 5/5 Service 4/5 Vibe 4/5 Parking to reso is a challenge, but for Hong Kong Style restaurant , its worth it! Food was great, there isnt as many options as other cha chang tang, but still a good section. I personally love their Hong Kong Iced MilkTea. One of the best ones i had in toronto, ngl! ALSO! FRIED CHICKEN WINGS IS TO DIE FOR! Sooooo juicy so delicious! Overall worth the drive and parking pain! Haha

Ordered the hainanese chicken rice for takeout. The chicken was decent but unfortunately the broth did not have much flavour. It came with two ginger oil sauces. Wish there was a bit more variety of sauces. The rice was unfortunately mushy.. perhaps the other dishes are better but not convinced I would go out of my way to try in the restaurant yet.

2.5 stars This is pretty small cafe and has around twenty seats that are fairly close together. There isn't dedicated parking, but there is street parking across the street. Make sure you park where it's permitted. We ordered I. instant noodles with satay beef and egg in soup and H. spicy pork chop with Maggi sauce on rice. The food didn't take long to arrive at the table and you're given eating utensils when your dishes come out. The satay beef did not actually have instant noodles. They were regular noodles, and this was quite a letdown since we were expecting instant noodles. The pork chop was a decent portion and tasty.

If you are willing to wait a while, the food and dining experience will be worth it. We arrived…read morejust after 6PM on a weekday Wednesday night thinking it will be a little less busy, but that was not the case. We still had to wait around 45 mins to 1 hour before being seated. Street Grill's interior and decor lends to it's theming as an old Asian alley where you get snack food from street vendors. I appreciated that the wall columns and dividers were intentionally chipped at uneven spots to fit that theme. You get a lot of variety with the available food options. They have beef, pork, lamb, chicken, seafood, and grilled veggies. The drinks also have their own separate menu with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. In our 1st batch of orders, we had the Garlic Eggplant and Ham & Cilantro Bean Curd Rolls for starters. Both are good and safe recommendations for everyone. For the rest of the food, we had Beef Tenderloin, Lamb Brisket, and Pork Belly. All were seasoned and spiced just right. I particularly enjoyed having the Beef Tenderloin and Lamb Brisket. For our 2nd batch of orders we had a Shareable (Shrimps, Sea Jellyfish, Cucumber, Preserved Eggs, and Peanuts w/ thick sweet vinaigrette) order which we were not able to finish and had to take home. That mixed veggie shareable was good to cleanse the palate, but was a little too sour to finish all in one seating. The rest of the order we had the Grilled Steamed Bun and then we tried to go more exotic by ordering Spicy Duck Tongue and Jumbo Bullfrog. I loved the Grilled Steamed Bun. It was seasoned right and toasted to perfection. The Jumbo Bullfrog had just enough meat on it to pick out and eat. The Duck Tongue might not be for everyone. There is not enough of the meaty, fleshy middle layer to eat, and then the rest of it is the 2 wide, bony protruding structures. We were seated at a good spot by the upper level overlooking the rest of the dining area. There was a server standing just behind us ready for requests and taking our orders. The overall dining experience is great, but can be a little pricey. Communication might sometimes be a small issue. Some servers default to speaking in Chinese and there are times where it can be tricky asking them to identify what was the food they just brought out.

Loved the local l brews as well :) Highlight was the chicken cartilage! We were able to make a reso by calling ahead and got seated in 15-20 min from reso time. Will be back again!!

This place is a decent size, not huge or anything but lots of big tables and small private rooms that can sit around 15-20 people. Service is prompt, no concerns except for when dessert came around. The lady who was placing each bowl from the tray to the rotating table, she put some of them down so hard it would spill on the table. It's kind of messy. Never went in the washroom so unsure of its cleanliness. Food was good, decent price and the food was yummy. The eel clay pot rice was okay, lots of ginger in it. The mushroom beef was good, tender. I would say everything is good. I would come here again if my in-laws are going.

Family members said the menu had some interesting items but unfortunately because we came on the actual holiday our options were limited to a specific menu and you could only order from this menu. This was the first red flag. Service could be better. We had to ask for water 3 times and on the third time we actually got attitude. Food was okay. Your typical Chinese fare served family style. Too many options out there. I would not go out of my way to return.

We were told by the server that the last call to order was at 8:30 PM. We ordered the Laksa seafood noodle in chicken broth and the Hainanese chicken rice noodle in chicken broth. Both were good but I have had better experiences elsewhere. I do not know of a lot of places in Toronto serving Laksa so this was an OK experience to be able to have it again. The Laksa's broth could be thicker and creamier. I would also wanted it to have more of the coconut taste, but I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that it may be a regional variant of the dish. At least it has lot of variety in its toppings. The other dish we tried was the Hainanese chicken noodle soup. We had it in this configuration for a change. I must say that Hainanese chicken is better paired with rice. There are 2 dips that came with it. The ginger dip was a little lacking. I find it lacking flavour and fails to properly enhance the taste of the Hainanese chicken. The chicken broth also came off a little too salty on first taste. What was redeeming was that dish orders came with a free choice of beverage. We paired our orders with Almond milk & Chocolate milk. Both dishes's serving size were also huge. We had to take them both to-go. Right after we were served our orders the waitress came by us and subtly implied that we already pay for the food because they were already closing shop soon. I was surprised by this because I am always used to paying at the end and have always understood this to be the expectation. I still paid the bill in cash and gave a slightly higher percentage for tip because that is just how the cash amount conveniently rounds up to.

I ordered the corn beef with egg sandwich combo (approx $9) and my husband got the satay beef vermicelli combo (approx $15). We both got hot milk tea with extra milk. The server was very nice and ask if I would like my bread toasted - just like in HK. And just like in HK, the sandwich was served crustless. The bread was light toasted, the scrambled egg was piping hot. Personal preference, I do wish they put more corned beef in it. The milk tea was average, there was some tea flavour, but it also had a bitter aftertaste. My husband liked his order. They were very generous with the vermicelli.
