Decent meal for $20 incl drink. It is very filling and healthy. Can't complain. I've had much better and richer lahksa but this was ok. It hits the spot. Come here after the lunch rush. Otherwise it's a zoo. Quick service though !

They added 20% tip automatically

Double check the amount on the machine when you pay! They added 20% tip when they handed over the machine and it never asked me how much I wanted to tip!!! We were only a table for 2 so it's not like this is a mandatory gratuity. Service was nothing special to deserve 20% tip and if I didn't ask for my receipt I wouldn't have realized that they automatically added it to the bill. So shady and I will definitely not return to this location

One of four locations in Toronto, this is the first Deer Garden I've been to. I came at opening hours on a snowy Sunday. Lots of parking available in this plaza. It was very empty. The space was clean and bright. Service was great! Our table of 3 shared: 2 soup noodle combos - one with laksa broth (tasty and spicy) and the other with tomato pumpkin broth (very good also! Highly recommend if you're looking for a non-spicy option). Would love to come back to try the other broths! We also added two sides ($3.75 each): ox tongue (only 2 slices) and Taiwanese popcorn chicken. The sides were small but tasty. The Hong Kong milk tea was very milky. Wished the tea was a little stronger - but passable.

The soup base for the Dan Dan noodles is delicious and highly recommended! The peanut flavor is rich, and the addition of XO sauce enhances the experience. Also tried the Thai Tom Yum and Malaysian Laksa soup bases, catering to Chinese taste with a slightly sour and sweet profile. The soups are flavorful with plenty of ingredients like tomatoes and cabbage. Personal ranking: Dan Dan noodles Malaysian Laksa Thai Tom Yum Tried the beef brisket, smooth squid ink slices, and fish slices - all decent, with the standout being the frozen fish slices for their unique texture. Additional charges for iced drinks; the charcoal-roasted milk tea is delightful.

This is an interesting noodle restaurant. You can customize your bowl with noodles meat soups etc. The price is reasonable for the portion size and quality that you get

Daily specials... Store hour is not what listed in Yelp. Closes at 8:30pm!

Warning store hour has changed!!! Closes 8:30pm 4.5 star... In tune to their other location the Layout is spacious and comfortable. 3.5 star.... Service is acceptable, I can only see 1 waitress , and 1 person working on drink and cash working the dinning area. So you get only "shout out" for services. 3 star... I prefer the food at their hwy7 or silverstar blvd location. However their drink is not bad. As like their other locations, if you like a bit of heat, ask for their hot sauce, their give you their XO sauce (I think they made it and not store bought)

As a Hong Konger, rice noodles is our comfort food. And I've found the perfect place for 米線!Though their fish soup base was disappointing (flavourless), the spicy soup base was savoury and flavourful, it's even better than some rice noodles I ate in Hong Kong! The portion was super large and they put so much veggies inside the soup.

Due to the convenience of the location and decent food I've been here a few times. Service is typical Asian restaurant where they aren't super attentive and you have to ask for more water/tea. There was one time I was here with a large group and at times we may have gotten a little rowdy but it's not a big deal. Keep an eye out for specials so that you can try something new. FYI, payment is taken at the counter. I'll definitely be back.

Overall 2.5 stars. I have been to this location a few times. Food was fine -3 stars. The menu is same as other locations Service - 1 star. They messed up our order every time, gave us wrong items, forgot one of the orders especially if you are not ordering the noodles. I am not sure why the staff didn't write down those order (rice, sandwich) and always missed them. Twice already that we needed to wait for 30 minutes for the stupid sandwich or rice bowl that could be ready in 10 minutes. I think I gave them enough chance. Will not go back.

Wonderful fish soup restaurant! I'm a big fan of any noodle soup combo, and this is no exception. They make a very flavourful fish soup broth here, without too much fishiness (at least in my opinion) that many may dislike. There are non-fish based broth options too, if you like--but I feel like you'd be missing out. It's a wonderfully hearty meal, complete with whatever toppings you choose. A very consistent and delicious spot for fish broth noodles! They have many locations across the GTA, so it's easy to find a location that works for you. Their noodle soups are on par or perhaps a little more expensive than usual noodle soup spots--but I think it's worth a shot.

Malay Laksa + Flat Rice Noodle + Imitation crab & fish tofu + Cold Milk Tea
Nathan A.

I work nearby so I probably come here a bit too much. My go-to order is the soup noodles: Malay Laksa Soup base, with flat rice noodle and imitation crab. With cold milk tea to drink. $14.15 I think + tip. The Laksa soup is very tasty, a little spicy, a little seafoody. There's plenty of noodles and it's a little heavy but the flavours are good. Make sure to also ask for their chili oil! I'm told the other soups are pretty good too. Price used to be better, but at the moment I still think it's worth it. Service is hit or miss. Can't tell if the servers are trying to be funny or just rude.

When we came here they have the special promo that you can pick an additional topping for free. So we order the 3 topping soup noodles. The service is good. The noodles is not as good as the hwy 7 location. The toppings (even with the extra toppings) is less than hwy 7 2 toppings portion. The pork liver toppings is not cooked. The flavour is not as good. I will return, but for the hwy 7 location unless this location's food improve.

A new Deer Garden Signatures has opened and I couldn't be happier for this 4th GTA location! This is a high traffic place so I hope business goes well for them. I like the reno, it reminds me of a Hong Kong canteen. Their signature checklist noodles start at $11.50. What can I say.. their food and service are consistent with their other locations so it's nice to have that trust here. The idea here is build-your-own bowl: they have a checklist for broth, ingredients & noodles customization; I call them "check mark noodles" lol. I rarely pass up a chance to eat at Deer Garden for their noodle + drink combo b/c they're delivered fast & straightforward. I usually like to order peanut soup broth + egg noodles + milk tea! I think it's unique in the entire GTA. Not to mention, I love set meals that come with a drink, it just makes the whole experience happier.. a bonus! ^^ & Lucky me, this place is always available to me now being in such a convenient location.

I liked the toppings though having an option of heat level would have been nice. Service was so so. The host greeted us and when we asked for a table along the back she very reluctantly gave us one saying they are saved for the dinner rush. We were there at 6:30pm so would think we are part of that "rush". When we left an hour later there were only a few her diners and two single diners were given Seats along the wall. So much for that dinner rush. Also no one ever came to check on us. Had to flag down for anything even the check. Though servers were grouped together on the side talking most of the time. Though the food is good, the service makes me wary of returning.

Our waitress tried her best and was very pleasant. We did have to ask for things twice, but it was a busy Saturday evening. I ordered the chilled tsukemen which I really enjoyed. Sansotei Ramen Review…read more Order: Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen Ambience: Sansotei at union station is more like a quick takeout /food court ramen spot than a sit-down restaurant. It's great if you're grabbing something fast, but the seating area wasn't the cleanest and I had to look around for a table that had been wiped down, which wasn't ideal if I am paying 21$ for a bowl of tonkotsu ramen. Food: I tried the black tonkotsu ramen and it was definitely rich and filling. I liked that you can choose between thick or thin noodles, which is a nice touch. That said, the broth was a bit too rich and salty for my taste and could use something to balance it out, maybe an order or Diet Coke. The meat was good but not as tender as I would like. Sides and Pairing Tip: I'd recommend getting a side of gyoza or even a Diet Coke to help cut through how rich, heavy and salty the ramen feels. Value for Money: It's a good option for a quick meal, but it does feel a little expensive for the experience you're getting for that price. Overall: Great for a fast ramen fix when you're on the go, but maybe not the best choice if you're looking for a more comfortable dine-in experience, or more value for money. 3/5

The weather in Toronto this week has been in the 20's and 30's! The restaurant does serve the dodgers when they are in town! If it's good enough for them... I ordered a Canadian whiskey to start off. It was very nice and smooth. I think it was a Sleeman and sons? Not positive but I really liked it! Then the food. I ordered the first roll from every section. There were some repeats which he advised me would happen but I didn't mind! The sushi was so tender and had great flavor. My husband ordered the ribeye steak and that was really really good. I would order that definitely next time and come here again!

I don't usually go for high-end sushi restaurants, but Miku has been on my list for a while, so I was genuinely excited to finally check it out. The restaurant is located on the ground level of an office building, but the moment you step inside the restaurant, everything changes. You go from bright, corporate lighting to a moody, romantic space with soft, dim lighting and a refined, intimate ambiance... it truly feels like entering a different world. Bonus points for the complimentary coat check, which is a huge win during winter when everyone is lugging around massive puffer jackets. We were seated in plush, velvety sofa booths near the bar, with a view of the street, which felt both cozy and upscale. Shoutout to our server, Shintaro, who was phenomenal with his warm, attentive, and energetic service, which made the whole experience even better. We started with drinks: my coworkers ordered sake flights, while I went with their signature cocktail, the kumquat cosmo. It was sweet and citrusy, and exactly what I needed on a Tuesday night after work. For appetizers, we all chose the sushi and sashimi selection, which included 9 pieces of chef-selected sashimi, chef-selected nigiri, and aburi oshi sushi. This was chef's kiss. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the sushi and nigiri were perfectly seasoned and sauced, so that we didn't even need soy sauce (though they do have a lovely house-made sweet soy sauce). I ordered the Red Wave Roll just to use their house-made sweet soy sauce... and wow. I've never had sushi that didn't fall apart after biting into it For my main, I went with the roast black cod. It was cooked beautifully, with a tender, slightly chewy texture that was rich but not overwhelming. For dessert, I went with their famously loved green tea opera. It's a small green tea sponge cake layered with matcha buttercream, red bean cream, and a hazelnut wafer crust, paired with a rich, velvety matcha ice cream on the side. Balanced, not overly sweet, and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, Miku lived up to (and honestly exceeded) the hype. Incredible food, top-notch service, and a beautiful atmosphere.
