Mila is the absolute BEST!! I go to her for everything. She did my wedding dress and both my nieces. Then of course all the bridesmaids dresses for those 3 weddings. I also bring my normal clothes. I have been going to Phoenix alteration for 3 years. Becky was the original owner but has sold the business. The new owners did a terrible job on hemming my daughters school skirts. Not only did I wait 3 weeks for the skirts but with in a month all the hemming came undone on all the skirts. I mentioned this to a friend who also had a few things hemmed she had the same problem and went back to have her dresses re hemmed. I will not be going back. read more

I needed a bridesmaids dress taken in and shortened. I expected it to be over $100 since it was quite big on me. She told me it was going to be $200 and I was shocked but figured that must be how expensive it is to have it taken in and shortened that much and I needed it. She said it would be ready in a week and I would have to pay cash. She texted me this morning that it was ready to be picked up. I stopped at the ATM on my way and took out $200 cash. I gave her my receipt when I walked in and tried on the dress. When I went to pay she told me it was going to be $240 because the straps and waist took her longer than expected. I had paid $260 for the dress originally so $240 in alterations is absolutely ridiculous! She made me leave and go back to the ATM to get the other $40 she had added to the total. She could have at least told me in the text she sent that morning that the price was higher than what she had told me, especially knowing she only accepts cash. I will never go here again. read more

Was a customer for years when Becky owned the business. Assumed I would continue to get great service. Took a top in that needed some snaps added to it. I was instructed to go to a local store to purchase the snaps I needed. Ran around to two different stores to purchase the snaps, only to be told by the owner they were the wrong snaps and to keep looking. Really? This woman is a godsend! I brought a bridesmaid dress to her with only ONE week to get it altered and she made it happen. Not only did she make it happen but it was so much cheaper than it would've been if I had taken it elsewhere looking for expedited alterations. When I got my dress back, it was absolutely perfect. I must say this woman is nothing short of amazing. A couple of year ago my daughter had a pagent and she made this dress for as if it was custom made for her. This year my company ordered new uniforms that were made with a special material. They took 6 weeks to get here and when they did, the sleeves were too long and the mid section too wide. I brought all seven shirts to Phoenix Alterations, she measured one shirt and from there I waited. When I got back and tried on that shirt, it looked and felt amazing. She even too into account the way I sit in my vehicle and drive so the sleeves wouldn't be too short while driving. After these two experiences with her I would completely trust her with any garment no matter what I paid for it. Trust me, if you need alterations.....this is the place to go.
