I needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed and taken in, she did such a great job and it was super fast! Only waited a couple days. I will definitely come here anytime I need something fixed. read more

I was extremely disappointed at the service from the owner here. I walk through the door and she doesn't even stop what she is doing to see what I have brought. Then in 20 seconds she totally dismisses what I need done and says, "you need buy new shirt". Wow! I compare this to taking your car in for brake pads and the mechanic says, "you need new car". This lady has an attitude and doesn't know how to run a business. read more

How could anyone give This place less than 5 stars? Luidmila is a treasure and her work speaks for itself. I brought her a difficult custom project and she knocked it out of the park. Everything came out far better than I could have imagined. She is extremely helpful and prices are super reasonable. She knows exactly what she is doing and her expertise shines in her work. She accomodates your schedule as best she can and the work is honestly beyond worth the wait. In my humble opinion, there is nowhere else I would go to have anything altered or created. She is the best! read more

This lady is AMAZING. She saved my life today! I bought a formal dress the morning of an important wedding, and not only was she able to hem the dress within one hour for me, it was PERFECTION. She also charged me only a fraction of what I expected for an emergency job. If I could give her 10 stars, I would! read more

I rarely get my clothes altered but needed a quick turnaround on hemming a pair of pants. I dropped them off on 12/23, just two days before Christmas. I needed them done by the day after Christmas. I dropped off the pants at 11:45 AM and the owner texted me before 2 PM and said they were done already on the same day! $10! I am blown away by how fast and inexpensive this was, and it was during the holidays! Sweet lady with great service and quality work. read more

I needed my multi-layered Mother-of-the-Bride dress hemmed. And while I see myself, this was a job I did not want to attempt as one layer was a sheer, delicate material. After checking on-line at alteration review in the Phoenix area, I called Phoenix Alterations and made a Sunday appointment. My alterations were completed professionally and in a timely manner. The owner was friendly and helpful. My daughter had a bridesmaid dress hemmed at another alterations place, and while it was $25 cheaper, she said it was not as well done. I would definitely recommend Phoenix Alterations. read more

Just like a new barber, you never know what the quality of the work from an alterations person will be until you get your clothes back. The owner and operator, Liudmila, is wonderful! She is very personable, knowledgeable, and does a great job. She talks about options, and then follows it up with excellent product. She actually completed my job two days early, how often does that happen! I would recommend her shop to anyone who wants to have a great job done at a very fair price. read more

I had bought several shirts that only came in lengths far too long. The long sleeve pull over sleeves were shortened nicely also. The alterations were done quickly and cost effectively. They are a "cash only" business though but really worth it. read more

Mila did a great job on all of my alterations. I originally went in for a bridesmaid dress and once I put it on she looked at it and realized it was made incorrectly and asked if I can send it back and suggested I do so. I had a golf skirt shortened and it's perfect now and I also had 3 pairs of pants. She is very reasonably priced and can have things completed very quickly. It's nice to have someone you can trust for alterations especially when your short! read more

I have been going to Phoenix alteration for 3 years. Becky was the original owner but has sold the business. The new owners did a terrible job on hemming my daughters school skirts. Not only did I wait 3 weeks for the skirts but with in a month all the hemming came undone on all the skirts. I mentioned this to a friend who also had a few things hemmed she had the same problem and went back to have her dresses re hemmed. I will not be going back. read more

After reading all the positive reviews I went to the store first thing in the morning. I needed a ladies business suit (jacket and pants) altered quickly for an upcoming trip. Ludmila had it done same day!! I am so impressed with quality work, fast turnaround and reasonable price. I used to hesitate to buy clothes that need alterations b/c it used to be such a pain, but not so much when you've found a solid tailor! Thanks read more

I'd never had jeans tapered before but I wanted some boot cut jeans I had to be straight leg, I was a little nervous of how they'd end up but I am so happy I did it. I got back what feels like a brand new pair of jeans that you'd never be able to tell were altered. I'll definitely be back. read more

Mila is the absolute BEST!! I go to her for everything. She did my wedding dress and both my nieces. Then of course all the bridesmaids dresses for those 3 weddings. I also bring my normal clothes. She was able to redo my husbands suit after he lost weight and it looks great. The price is incredible and the quality of work is top of the line. I don't know what I would do if Mila ever moved. I was a customer of Becky's for many years. During that time, when she was overloaded, she called in Mila to assist. Obviously, Mila does excellent work or Becky would not have used her as long as she did. Becky eventually sold the business to Mila and she moved back to the Middle East. Mila does excellent work and is delightful to deal with. read more

Liudmila is a pro!!!!!!!! Had a bridesmaid dress hemmed at a different location and they did a horrible job. Thankfully found Liudmila in time before the wedding and I was not disappointed at her stunning work. The dress fits like a glove now. Price was fair and I loved how she explained the price breakdown of each task she had to complete -- It always bothered me when people would just spit out a number with no explanation. Now I won't hesitate to return. Thank you Liudmila! read more

They did an absolutely wonderful job with my bridesmaid dress! Quick turn around time and the dress now fits perfectly! Definitely would recommend! read more

I needed a bridesmaids dress taken in and shortened. I expected it to be over $100 since it was quite big on me. She told me it was going to be $200 and I was shocked but figured that must be how expensive it is to have it taken in and shortened that much and I needed it. She said it would be ready in a week and I would have to pay cash. She texted me this morning that it was ready to be picked up. I stopped at the ATM on my way and took out $200 cash. I gave her my receipt when I walked in and tried on the dress. When I went to pay she told me it was going to be $240 because the straps and waist took her longer than expected. I had paid $260 for the dress originally so $240 in alterations is absolutely ridiculous! She made me leave and go back to the ATM to get the other $40 she had added to the total. She could have at least told me in the text she sent that morning that the price was higher than what she had told me, especially knowing she only accepts cash. I will never go here again. read more

Was a customer for years when Becky owned the business. Assumed I would continue to get great service. Took a top in that needed some snaps added to it. I was instructed to go to a local store to purchase the snaps I needed. Ran around to two different stores to purchase the snaps, only to be told by the owner they were the wrong snaps and to keep looking. Really? She doesn't have snaps in stock or with her business, cannot obtain the ones I needed? Never could find the snaps on my own. Won't be back. read more
