I placed a to-go order for everybody in my office, and boy were these folks efficient! Not to mention, the pho was to die for! Though it took several minutes to combat the traffic en route back to my office with the goods, our broth was piping hot. The beef had such flavor, I was inclined to eat it aside from the pho, but I proceeded to mix everything as one should. They made sure to include enough of the fixings for everybody, with much to spare. Though the website is slightly suspect, it does no justice to this cozy spot located conveniently near my office. WOW. So pleasantly shocked by how all the plates we ordered for appetizers and entrees surpassed any expectations we had comparable to lien hung, a dong, berni, and taste of Asia. This is our new spot. Hands down. The customer service was just as wonderful and the owner Charlie even came out, offered additional noodles and a quick summary of himself, as well as suggestions for a even BETTER experience next time. Unfortunately the service is meh, the pho broth lacks any flavor, there was one scoop of meat in the pho. It fit on one spoonfull. The vietnamese egg rolls were skinny and small compared to most restaurants. Too many other good pho places to go to. We gave both of our to go bowls to the homeless on the corner. read more

Solid pho, broth was rly awesome. Ordered the round steak (P9 on the menu) and it was . I ordered some shrimp spring rolls (rice paper) and they were good, super fresh too. Only thing I'll say is the herbs inside were a little overpowering for my taste.. it wasn't a huge deal I just took some out. Next time I'll ask what's inside. Hubby and I had this for Our valentines date this year. The food was very good but I felt that the pho was missing it's mark. I'm not sure if it was the noodles being too thin or if the broth had too much sodium but the beef inside the pho was fantastic and they were generous with bean sprouts, mint leaves and jalapeño add ins. Maybe I have too high of expectations of pho because Of where I have grown up. My husband got a vegetarian pho and enjoyed it. His has mushrooms, zucchini and tofu. We felt full halfway through our soups. I also ordered the pork Vietnamese sandwhich, I believe it's called bah mi, it has sliced carrots and Cilantro in it and it was excellent! Spicier than expected but I love spicy food. I have had this type of sandwich before in Irvine, Westminster, Bolsa and in LA and this one really stayed true to my expectations as my favorite type of sandwich. I give it a 5/5 and think that next time I might skip the pho altogether. I took half the sandwich home along with half the soup. It was great leftovers! Lastly, I had the thai tea which I loved! Tofu pad Thai & The Fried Tofu w/ ginger sauce. Lots of flavor. Food didn't disappoint, but a little upset that they couldn't accommodate us on small requests. For example we couldn't swap out rice for noodles or do fried tofu for Chinese food section of the menu, or make vegetable egg rolls instead of spring roll. The thai tea is amazing! I'm a vietnamese pho (and thai tea) enthusiast so I always order the same thing from every restaurant I try. The tea was served in a large glass and although it was skinny at the waist, it was still a lot to drink. Very creamy and not watery at all. The pho broth was very good. Clean and clear like it should be. The vegetables did not make it too sweet over time so you could take your time and enjoy the meal without taking things out. Pho was about $8.95 for a regular bowl. Looked like plain white rice with eggs. Chicken was okay. The sesame and orange tasted the same. Looked like all they did was add sesame seeds on top. They serve authentic Vietnamese food, complete with the taste and all the proper ingredients. It's high quality food for a good price. I always come here with my boyfriend who is Vietnamese.
