4/2/2026 - my second time here. Arrived around 12:30pm. It's Thursday and the biz was about 75% full. We entered and were sat down immediately. We ordered the following for three persons: 1 Chicken Wings for 10.25, a Bowl Soup of Wonton 6.00, Pork Sandwich 7.50 and Egg Noodle W/ Wonton 14.85. Wings take the longest to make. Excellent again. The wonton soup had 3 large port wonton in there, very good. The pork sandwich we will not purchase again. Fatty and greasy. The egg noodle soup was super hot and filling. We took 2/3 back home. 5 stars again. Parking was terrible there. Small parking lot for all the business's.

    Fried rice- it was delicious!!!

Our favorite Pho place in Santee. Quick to prepare food for pickup, super flavorful broth, quick to seat and serve. Employee are nice- inside always has the A/C on which is nice on hot Santee days.

    beef spring roll

The first thing you noticed when entering the restaurant is the aroma of home cooked pho. My family love to come here for their beef spring rolls and a good heart bowl of pho noodle soup. This is our go to place for beef spring rolls. The beef in the spring roll has a slow smoked barbecue flavor. They are simply delicious and make you want to eat more. The beef pho has a wonderful flavor of herbs and beef bone that was simmered in the pot for a long time. This is definitely home cooked and made out of authentic taste The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They remember your order and are quick to serve the food hot and fresh.

I found a good one! I've always driven past this place but finally decided to stop in and try it out. It was a good choice but I'm disappointed that I didn't visit sooner. The staff are very nice and the food is good, but I think the vermicelli dishes are better than the soups. However, the star of the restaurant would have to be the beef salad. You can visit this place with ordering it!

I was in the area with friends, and we decided to try this pho spot. The dining area is very open with booths and tables. The staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable. The pho is delicious with a nice flavorful broth. The amount of noodles and meat in the pho is just right. If you are in the area, I highly recommend trying Pho Van.

Wow I never knew there was a second location! So glad it's here in this area! Thai tea was good here, boba nice and soft. There's ample parking and seating in this restaurant. They also have booth seating which I love. Service was great here and food took a bit longer to come out versus most pho places I go to, but still very quickly. Prices are reasonable. I will say under our booth it was a little bit dirty with food pieces from prior guests. Not sure if it was just from earlier that day or a few days because there was a bit actually. So hopefully they are sweeping every night. Besides that, everything else was great.

Looking for Asian options! I really like this place. It's in East County the pho soup is always really good. The key is the broth . I had the rare steak and chicken wings. The wings were good. The staff is nice but very quiet. Your food comes out pretty quickly. If you're in East County you need to try.

only eat here if you're ready for it to change your life. i beg you, please get the salt and pepper wings - crunchy, perfectly seasoned wings hiding deliciously moist chicken underneath. transcendent. i absolutely loved the beef vermicelli. even on a busy saturday the service was excellence. the ambiance was clean and pristine. can't wait to be back!

Menu stating so very clear "fatty brisket vs brisket"

Very disappointed in the service and outcome we had today. We came in tonight to enjoy some pho as our usual place was closed for repairs. We were greeted and sat quickly and felt a little rushed by getting asked 3 times by 3 different workers if we were ready to order within 5 minutes of sitting. I ordered a #6 which states "RARE STEAK, FLANK & BRISKET 13.50 Lg. 14.40" no where does it say fatty like other options on the menu describe. We also ordered two other entrées being seafood rice and grilled beef which came out as described but unfortunately not the pho. As I was eating it was very fatty which is SO VERY UNAPPEALING TO ME! Very hard to eat so I was hoping maybe it was just the few pieces and picked at the noodles. I got distracted with my other meal when we were handed the bill. I noticed the bill said "Rare Steak & Flank & Fatty Brisket" which is what I was avoiding the fatty part.. I do not enjoy fatty meats. I brought my concern to the workers and they seemed to disagree saying it says that on the menu which it does not. It's so very clear that the menu STATES FATTY IN OTHER OPTIONS NOT #6. Not sure why it then changes on the receipt. I sat on it a bit and called the man over to show him that I clearly picked a few parts out and showed him it's nothing but fatty meat which I didn't want and he still disagreed. My plate showed very well that I didn't eat more than just a few pieces of noodles and picked at the meat then drank some broth. It was still full and didn't fit in the To go box. Sadly after explaining over and over he didn't understand that they labeled the menu wrong. I wasn't even offered a solution other than "it is fatty". So why is it labeled on some options on the menu very specific but not others ? Very disappointing I left paying for a meal I won't eat. It filled the whole to go container to the rim with still some left in my bowl. Not even a discount. Sad !

Pho Dac Biet combination and eggrolls

as a vietnamese pho restaurant employee myself, i will say that Pho Van checked many green flags for a great vietnamese restaurant. The sizes for the pho are perfect for the price, and the portions exceeded my expectations. The variety on the menu is sufficient and the beef bone essence really come through the pho broth. Overall quality spot

Small rare steak and brisket pho. pickled onions. Salted lemonade.
    shelby m.

I ordered the rare steak and brisket pho with a side of pickled onions and the salted lemonade. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff and seated immediately. The pho had lots of meat in a delicious and flavorful broth. They have the standard condiments. I personally did not like the salted lemonade but it was fun to try it. The dining room is spacious and overall a great place for larger groups or just dining for one.

It's about 6:30 on a Saturday night. Music is soft so we can hear each other talk. Mildly busy and definitely seems like a place for those in the know and authentic. Staff is friendly yet busy. Long tables we'll set up for families, groups or get to know your neighbors and share style. Placed order to go as it's on my way home and mom is nursing an injured knee. We had the pho with rare beef and brisket and it didn't disappoint! One of the best we've had. Same with chicken Vietnamese sandwich yummy. Pricing is reasonable and since it's down the road from where we live, we'll be back! It's another easily missed location as it's at the end of an L shaped mini strip mall off a busy street. Enjoy!

Hubs enjoyed these for a late evening snack. Entrees - - Combination fried rice - chicken, shrimp and cha siu (Chinese bbq pork) I liked the flavoring of the fried rice - it was not bland, but I did mix in a tiny bit of hoisin sauce. - Pho rare steak - overloaded with green onions and cilantro. We always order pho but I really wasn't feeling it that evening, so it was all the hubs. If you love tons of green onions and cilantro, get it! The broth had a really strong flavoring of the cilantro. Overall dinner was fairly good. Seemed like there were regular customers that visited often. Staff were super nice and friendly. Parking lot was not packed at all. If in the area, I'd visit again. 2026: 7

I did my best to cover my child as I held back extreme, loss of words, rage until they realized what they had done. This is egregious! No apology or expressions of "love" could EVER make up for their horrendous neglect for basic food service safety. I would encourage ANYONE thinking of eating at this establishment to reconsider. How was the food? Absolutely disgusting! We had Pho and Ramen and I couldn't taste anything over the over salted "water", I wouldn't dare call it broth. Customer service: Other than what was already mentioned, it was the worst experience. There were four tops being serviced, yet they were in such a rush. I don't think we had finished our drink order before they started to walk away. When they came to check on us after everything was delivered to the table, I made by extreme displeasure known. We received empty apologies, no effort to "make it right" after eating less than half because I couldn't stomach it anymore. We decided to leave, so they brought the bill. I guess when you express you will NEVER come back to their establishment, there isn't much incentive to "make it right". We begrudgingly paid nearly $40 PLUS their 3% service fee for credit card transactions. As I told the staff, and who we believe to be the owner, we will never come back to this place and I would encourage others to do the same. The day can't come soon enough where their business fails and they are forced to shutter their doors. If they read this and think this is a harsh review or over reaction to bad service, may I remind them, THEY through their neglectful and unprofessional service, placed our child in a situation that could have been life endangering and altering. ( To be clear, placing our child in a situation that there was a possibility of having scalding liquid dropped on the top of her head. There is no apology or making it right that would EVER be sufficient!)
