Try this place, it will not disappoint you! We had the Bun Thit Nuong, chicken fried rice, and shrimp fried rice. Absolutely amazing. I've never had such unique and tasty food. Everything is incredibly fresh. The Thai tea was refreshing. Most of all, the owner is an incredible person. He is so knowledgeable and happy to share a bit of his culture with the Mon Valley. He took the time to expand each dish to us and the different sauces used in preparing the meals. I love it here and will be back again soon! read more

Pho Valley - Bun Thit Nuong - Vietnamese Near Me - Monongahela, Pennsylvania

What a disappointment. I have had pho at many different restaurants and this was by far my least favorite. With a name like pho valley, I expected them to have various styles of pho but they do not have any meat options. This pho contains meatballs and thinly sliced beef. The meatballs were rubbery and were not eaten by anyone. The beef was almost all fat. The broth was bland, the toppings were scarce, the meat was already cooked in the broth and to go container (typically it's raw and you cook it in your broth), and the meatballs were...suspicious. (See photo) We also ordered chicken friend rice, which we also thought was bland. We will not be returning. read more

Great food! This is the first time I've ever had Vietnamese food and it is so good. Friendly atmosphere. The owner takes time to talk to the customers and is so personable. I really enjoy going here. Lots of parking space too! Also very kid friendly. read more

Pho Valley is a must try restaraunt in Monongahela. Their pho noodle bowl is delicious! I can't wait to try other items on the menu. The owner is very friendly! When he brought out the pho to the table he explained how different sauces, lime, and slices of jalapeño (optional) can be added to the broth to alter the taste to your liking. Also--I recommend trying the basil seed drink. You won't be disappointed! read more

Pho Valley - Pho - Vietnamese Near Me - Monongahela, Pennsylvania

Maybe the restaurant had an off day. Maybe my expectations were high since a colleague recommended the establishment. But pho I had was worse than store-bought, pre-packaged products (definitely the worst I've had at a restaurant). Broth lacked flavor; minimal content (bean sprouts, noodles and protein); and no Thai basil. How can a restaurant serve pho without Thai basil? To top it all off, it cost $15+ per bowl. Save yourself some money and get a box of pre-packaged pho at Costco or Sam's. It'll be just as good. read more

I have come here several times. Their Pho is the best I have ever had and I am from the DC/VA area and would get this at least once a month there. I hope nothing changes as it is great also in the winter-time. I am a veggie lover. Wish to have as much as I can get of this if this is my only meal for the day.. I hope they add bok choy and other veggies like carrots to the dish. The owner is extremely kind and his wife and children are very nice. read more

We really enjoyed this place. Not only was the food fresh and piping hot, but the owners were oh so friendly and helpful. It was clean and sunny. They even had sidewalk chalk on the patio! The pho actually tasted even better as a leftover the next day. read more

Very quick and polite service. The Pho is delicious. I'm glad to have something in Monongahela other than the same old diners and fast food. Hopefully they are successful and are able to expand their menu, which at the moment would be my only complaint. read more

This was a fantastic lunch experience. We stopped in for lunch and the waiter/owner spoke with us- asked our likes/dislikes, what was popular, and what the difference in their food compared to other nationalities (not in a disparaging way- just the differences) We ordered different plates, which was A LOT of food (which the waiter did warn us) We inquired what the Tea was- he explained it was a bubble tea and went thru each ingredient- he actually gave both of us a glass each of the tea, complimentary, and it was fantastic! I would recommend Pho Valley for your next dining experience! read more

Oh wow! My daughter surprised me with takeout from Pho Valley. What an amazing treat! We started off with the pho. This was my first time eating this delicious soup. Second course was fresh spring rolls. I've never seen meat in a spring roll. Surprisingly, It was also scrumptious. Next we had the fried spring rolls; Also yummy! From there we moved on to the chicken bahn mi. I wish she wouldn't of told me it was chicken. I would have never known it wasn't beef or pork. It was a really really delicious. A sandwich made with cucumbers and cilantro. And finally we finished the meal off with B11, A salad of rice noodles, carrots, cucumbers, lettuce or cabbage, marinated meat, and an amazing sauce! This was my favorite part of this enormous meal. Every item was filled with umami. It was amazing. read more

I went there with a large group of 12 friends and the food and service were fantastic. The restaurant was very clean, way better than the Eat N' Park in town. Somebody left a review talking about shower curtains and dirt. I'm sure they have this place confused with another restaurant. This place is immaculate. read more

Pho and bahn mi are both so good. The owner was so kind and accommodating to my family. It's great to have such a delicious and authentic Vietnamese restaurant so close to home. read more

Love this place! Food is consistently delicious. The depth of flavor in their pho broth is just incredible. We usually eat at least half of the bowl before adding sriracha and hoisin because it's just that good. Aside from the pho, we always get their chicken wings, fried egg rolls, and fresh spring rolls with pork and shrimp. Everything is made with care and is always delicious. The chicken wings are well seasoned, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The egg rolls are the thin ones with chopped up pork, mushrooms, and other veggies and noodles inside. They aren't the thick, greasy, bland ones you get at most local Asian restaurants. We also really like their fried rice dishes. I haven't tried the Bun Thit Nuong but my dad raves about it all night when we took him here. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. It's a very unique and delicious find in this area. The family that owns it is very welcoming and friendly and the service and food quality is always excellent. We have frequented this restaurant for a few years since they opened and drive almost 30 minutes to get here while always leaving satisfied. read more

Of all the places I have been to for Thai, Vietnamese or generally fresh deliciousness, this place is hands down my favorite. Everything is fresh made - the hand made spring rolls are the perfect balance, the peanut sauce is wicked. The crispy spring roll deserves an award for how many I want to shovel in my face! Then there's the Bun Thit Nuong. Imagine the best noodle dish you've ever had and punch it up a notch with fresh vietnamese bbq beef and you will probably never order anything else. Simply a wonderful place. Don't get me started on the owner. Ask him about Deadliest Catch. Culture, Food. Perfected. Get here. read more

Excellent quality Vietnamese food served in a nice clean environment. The owner is very personal and informative. He will do even better once the menu is expanded. We had the Valley Pho and chicken with crispy pork egg rolls as an appetizer. The Nuc mam dipping sauce was very tasty. Discount for military, first responders and vets. Worth the drive from Washington. read more

I can't believe I waited a year to try Pho Valley! The owner was friendly and knowledgeable, offering me a Vietnamese tea (yum!) while I waited for my take-out order. Spotlessly clean interior Absolutely delicious and amazingly fresh and flavorable food read more

I really hate that this was such a bad food experience because I really wish for great places to eat near here, but this place was just awful. The food was totally inedible and ended up down the garbage disposal. The fried rice was bland and tasteless. The Pho broth was lackluster and I'm not even sure what type of meat there was in the Pho, too strange looking for me to even bite into it. The menu is very small not many choices. Looks like the family who owns the place lives in the restaurant as there was a mattress on the floor behind the register, very unprofessional. Have to give this one a huge thumbs down. read more

My husband and I ate here for the first time this afternoon after seeing it on Local Flavor. It was our first time trying Vietnamese food and it was excellent! We had the spring rolls, pho, and bun thit nuong. I can highly recommend all three. The owners were also very friendly and took the time to explain each dish. We will definitely be back! read more

This is an excellent pho place. The pho is authentic with a great taste. The owner came over and thanked me personally for coming in and asked my opinion on the soup which I thought was very nice. Although they are a relatively new business and only have small menu, the food is excellent. They also informed me that they will be building the menu up soon so I'm excited to see what they will have. I would recommend Pho Valley to anyone looking for some great pho. read more

My girlfriend and I visited here this evening for dinner, and boy was it absolutely amazing. We love Vietnamese pho, and have eaten it all over the country - but this place absolutely takes the cake - and it's in our backyard to boot! The broth was so crisp and clean tasting, incredibly refreshing and tasty. The neat melted on our mouth, and we slurped up the bowl to the last drop. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely friendly. His conversation and passion for his cuisine kept us asking for more! We can't wait to go back. I am seriously so pleased and happy that this little gem is right in our backyard. Thank you Pho Valley !! read more

I got the Bun Thit Nuong. The food was very flavorful and portion size was perfect. Friendly and great service!

You're going to pay a little more than at standard Asian places, but it's worth the price for first-rate ingredients prepared fresh and with care. Actually, at $5.50, the fantastic spring rolls are a filling, healthy lunch. Add a huge bowl of delicious soup at 11.50 and you'll have two meals. Family-owned, friendly and spotless. read more

I could quite possibly eat here every day of my life. Vietnamese food is so refreshing and comforting, and you will not be disappointed if you're looking to try something new. The monongahela area is honestly blessed to have this place. I highly recommend the egg rolls (they are fried so crispy and delicious) or the spring rolls (the traditional, fresh kind (not to be mistaken for the "Chinese" version of a spring roll)). The pho is insane and so comforting. My absolute favorite thing is the bun thit nuong (B11). The meat is so sweet and delicious with the sweet oil you can pour over it and the vermicelli noodles are so refreshing. Just go nuts and try all kinds of things, you won't regret it :) To those who would complain about the price, if you want quality food you pay for it. If you think Chinese buffet food is comparable then there is no hope for you. read more
