Fire food, good variety, great taste. Contactless food delivery. Been going here for a few years and I've never had a bad experience

Really tasty food, friendly staff. Seems like a family operation. Reasonably priced, nearby. This is our go-to for Chinese food.

This is a place you really need to put on your list. Best food of its kind in the area. Red chicken curry is great!

Good food but could have better selections of asian dishes like the Asian food places in the mall.

K Asian Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh! My family and I have been going…read morehere for years and the quality has never wavered. The sushi is so delicious, fresh, reasonably priced, and always is served with beautiful presentation. The owners and staff are so friendly, attentive, and personable. The atmosphere is so beautiful inside too. All around amazing! Highly recommend the Spring Breeze roll and miso soup - my favorites!

The employees kindly speak with us, and they promptly seat us, take our orders, and bring our beverages and foods. In my past reviews, I rated the tuna tartar trio, salmon martini starter, Thai-style rangoon, chicken hibachi, and salmon hibachi as 5 stars each, and I rated the hibachi steak bento box with a spring roll as 4.5 stars and the chicken hibachi bento box with pork gyoza as 4 stars. For our most recent visit, here are my ratings for what we ate: Sushi and Sashimi for 2 - 5 stars - This gorgeous sushi boat contained 10 pieces of chef's choice sushi, 18 pieces of chef's choice sashimi, and 2 rolls--Dragon Roll (eel, cucumber, and avocado) and Volcano Roll (batter-fried mixed fish and avocado with house-special sauce and tobiko/roe). They all tasted delicious. Hibachi Steak - 5 stars - The steak was juicy and flavorful, and it came with fried rice, soup, salad, and two pieces of shrimp. Pad Thai - 5 stars - The rice noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce and my choice of protein of chicken.

Another great night at Soba. It somehow manages to stay effortlessly cool while the rest of us are…read morejust trying to make it through a Wednesday. The funky vibe never disappoints, and the servers were friendly and attentive without hovering. My husband and I kicked things off with the Spicy Pork Lettuce Wraps, which disappeared way too quickly. I ordered the Tuna Crispy Rice with spicy tuna, crispy fried sushi rice, jalapeño, and avocado. It was the perfect balance of crunch, spice, and freshness. My husband went with the Chirashi Bowl, packed with tuna, salmon, hamachi, roe, seaweed salad, avocado, shiso, chives, and sushi rice. We wrapped things up with the Chocolate Maki, because apparently "we'll just skip dessert" is something people say but never actually do. The dark chocolate mousse, chocolate pistachio crêpe, and pistachio cream were rich, decadent, and worth every bite. Soba continues to prove that even a random Wednesday can feel like a night out. Guess we'll have to keep coming back for quality control.

I'm genuinely torn writing this because I was so excited to bring my group of friends here for a…read morespecial night out in Shadyside. The atmosphere at Soba is undeniably gorgeous and fancy, and from a service standpoint, the staff was a absolute super. We had a large party, and even though joining tables isn't really their standard setup, they were incredibly patient, gracious, and accommodated us without hesitation. Our server was super knowledgeable, gave great recommendations, and we ad fun all night right up until closing. The appetizers started off strong: the Shrimp Tempura was wonderfully crispy with a delicious dipping sauce, the Tuna Crispy Rice was great, and the Double Salmon Roll had an (interesting) exotic twist with jalapeño on top. Unfortunately, things took a sharp turn with my main dish, the Crab Fried Rice. While the portion was huge, the flavor was extremely bland and flat--the crab got completely lost in a sea of rice. Worse, it was absolutely overwhelmed by an HUGE amount of cilantro; even as someone who likes cilantro, finding a giant bunch buried in the bowl totally ruined the dish. My friends' dishes, like the Chirashi, looked an tasted much better. To make matters worse, a few hours after returning home, I became violently ill and stayed sick for the entire next day--something that almost never happens to me. While I truly appreciate the incredible hospitality and front-of-house team, the combination of a disappointing dish and getting so sick afterward makes it impossible for me to give this place more than 2 stars.
