Sushi is fresh and a great portion size. My family and I love the double crown meal. The shrimp are HUGE and the sauce is very sweet and sticks to the shrimp. Service is always fast and friendly. They finally reopened their dine in. However, there are some changes. They changed to a deli style eating. As in, you order at the counter and pay and then sit down and toss everything yourself at the end. They have also remodeled and have a clean and fresh look. Update - Azan Wok had a fire a little while back and were forced to remodel. Unfortunately, they really changed the atmosphere of the place. Yes, you can still sit there and eat, but it is a similar experience to a fast food restaurant. You order at the counter, pick up your food at the counter and eat out of plastic containers. It's a very sterile environment. Luckily they still have the same delicious food, but now I only come here for takeout. If I want to dine out, there are other Chinese restaurants that will provide a much better experience. read more

Got takeout here last night ordered appetizer dumplings, which were about the size of my thumb six of them total rip off. Ordered a full role of sushi. They only gave me half a roll and it was tasteless. Also ordered their highly recommended General style shrimp no flavor. The portions were small and it looked disgusting. Also got orange chicken it was the best of what we got and even that was subpar. I will never go back to this establishment way overpriced tasteless food portions very small. read more

Without a doubt this was some of the best Chinese food I've had in the 'Burgh. I ordered the shrimp lo mein which was delicious but not even the best thing I ordered. I ended up pouring the chili sauce from my dumplings into my lo mein. And oh my...! Those dumplings were FIRE! I relished every.single. one. and then got a little sad when I realized that I had eaten them all. I also ordered wonton soup which was delicious! The flavoring in the broth was just right and this can be hard to find. Takeout seemed to be the most popular option. When I walked to pick up my order, the dining room was nice, clean and empty. However, there was a person waiting on their food, one who in came right after me and multiple bags sitting on the counter waiting to be claimed. The sushi is amazing, however the fish was a little warm. They use fake crab (Like MOST places). Service was great for what it was. The traditional Philly roll tasted great. We tried others such as the dragon, that were good- colder sushi would of made a very solid four star review. read more

Just recalled why it's been 6 years since I've been here. The food is just meh. If your hungry and just looking for a place to eat and move on with your day, this is it. If you're not into full flavor. This place is for you. The vegetable spring roll was nice size. Wish they would have granted my wish as I asked under the order for FRESH mustard and not the Play Doh looking packet! Vegetable udon dish was 99% noodles. Figured with ordering "vegetable" udon I'd get more vegetables beings I'm not getting a protein in the dish. My 17 year olds Pad Thai was so dry he ate 1/3 of it (see picture). It'll be forever til I'm back again or when I am in the same predicament as tonight, driving home from work and need to just get dinner "over with". $35 on blah food. Went to try the "amazing sushi" we heard about. Typically, my wife and I order a LOT of sushi, especially our favorite, good old, basic tuna maki rolls. Upon ordering, we were told we could not order maki rolls after lunch, despite nothing being said in the menu (see photo) and being able to order sushi and sashimi a la carte. I've never experienced this ANYWHERE. We settled on splitting a sushi "entree," with a few extra pieces. Our entree came with, you guessed it, a tuna maki roll. The sushi was fair for Pittsburgh, but the inability to just order what we wanted put me off. I would have left, but my wife really wanted some sushi... And there we were. I logged on online, if we wanted takeout, guess what we could order.... You got it. Maki rolls. I guess in the end, the waitress saved us money, since our total was about half of what we usually spend. Advice: Fix your web site and menu to match your policy, or fix your staff. Sushi heaven!! Quick service, kind employees, great food. This little restaurant is a great place to go if you are craving sushi at a great price. The sushi is fresh and comes out quick. I love how they even give you a little appetizer when you sit down. I'm not sure what it's called though but I've never had it at a sushi restaurant before. I got some basic rolls. I went with the Alaskan, Boston, and spicy California. They were all very good. The restaurant is confidently located in a strip mall so there is a lot of parking. If you go on a weeknight, you will definitely have no wait. We went in and got seated immediately. There were many people that came in to get takeout so that seems like a popular option as well. It is hard to find anything wrong with this Resturant , at least during lunch. My benchmark, hot and Sour soup, was Excellent. When I first tasted it I noticed it was thinner than most, but, it only enhanced the flavor. I had Szechuan Chicken, fried rice and an egg roll. All full of flavor and looked good. (See pic). We ordered Azan Wok for the first time to take out for a quick dinner with grandkids. The gentleman on the phone was very polite, he asked me to hold I could hear he was busy with a customer and another call. I usually take that as a good thing. He return to the phone and politely took my order and gave me a price and time to pick up. We can on time to pick up. Everything was packaged nicely. When we got to our grandkids just up the street in Holiday Park, we went right to the table to eat. Not as hot as I would have liked. I like my chicken in a white sauce. This white sauce was very bland, lacking any taste. Next time I will try the brown sauce. The kids loved the Generals. It just lacked something I can't put my finger on. The egg roll was good. A lot of cabbage for my taste but it was good in flavor. I would recommend. We will try again seeing that the kids enjoyed theirs and it is close to their home. read more

This has become my go to place for both Chinese and sushi. It is close to home, so I've dined here at least five times and have yet to be disappointed. Service is fast and attentive. The waiter remembered I drink a lot of water so he brought me two glasses right away without me even asking. Food is flavorful and fresh. The menu has a fantastic variety of Chinese and Japanese and a good range of dishes ranging from small appetizers and salads to large rolls and full entrees. The Sushi rolls have clever local names like the golden mile, the plum role and the pittsburgh role. I highly recommend Azon Wok. I was very sadly mistaken.i got my order to go a little pricey i was thinking but who was i to judge. Loved the online ordering but when we went to eat i was 2 bites into my general tso chicken when i literally choked on a bone. Found another bone in a seperate piece of chicken. I am glad i got my son teriyaki chicken where you could visually see there were no bones. As it seemed to have a weird texture i believe it was some sort of preformed chicken or possibly reheated? Great find in the Plum area. We ordered takeout and it was ready within 15-20 mins of ordering online. The food was really good. Better than a lot of Chinese places in this area. My children especially liked the dumplings. Looking forward to when things start getting back to normal so we can dine in. Will definitely order again! read more

I got take out tonight and they were very busy. All customers including myself had face masks on and we stood at least 6 feet apart. Governor Wolf required ALL business owners and customers must wear masks. Why was the owner who went in the kitchen to get the orders and ring up the orders not wearing a mask? The guy making sushi had no mask on either. This made me feel very uncomfortable. You better start wearing your masks' it's the only way to keep the virus from spreading more!!!! This has very quickly become my favorite Asian restaurant around! I've never dined in, always ordered carry out, and they're so quick and my food has always been perfect! And almost everytime I go, there are at least 2 or 3 other people there picking up orders as well.. Apparently my opinions are shared! I LOVE that they offer such an extensive sushi menu!! Great place for good Asian food in the area. The restaurant is always clean and decorated beautifully. Service is always friendly and usually very prompt... however, they can get very busy around lunch. That said, the one time I was there and the service was very slow, they went above and beyond and offered every customer a card for a 'free sushi roll or appetizer' as an apology for the wait (and i never even complained!). Weirdly, this time the fried rice was great! I got the basil fried rice, and when I opened it, my heart sank a bit because it didn't have that nice browned look to it, but it was actually pretty good! I like pleasant surprises. Also got singapore-style noodles and crab rangoons. Both were awesome, and just what I was looking for. Plus, the guy working behind the counter was really nice. This is barely a mile from where we recently moved so I think that gives it major props already. My company orders from this place quite a bit so I've had their take-out and dine-in experience. The staff is a little slow when it comes to understanding coupons and the dinner prices are too high to always go, but I would recommend the lunch specials. The newsletter signup gives you the occasional coupon, so it's worth it to get the deals. The presentation and food tastes pretty good. I especially like their bento boxes. read more

Wow, this place really exceeded our expectations! The basil shrimp was excellent, the seafood hot pot was very good...and the sushi! What a nice presentation with a fresh taste. I'd gotten the salmon roll with apple and it looked and tasted great! This place has something that I've never seen anywhere...light-up sushi! Sadly I feel this restaurant's quality has gone a bit down hill. When it initially opened I thought it was great. I've not been thrilled with some of my last few orders. My most recent order was Kung pao. It was the strangest Kung pao I've ever had, the sauce tasted very different from anywhere I've ever before, it was not spicy enough, and they must have completely forgot to add any salt. It had no taste. None. I had to add chili sauce, salt and msg. A few times they have gotten the meat wrong in my orders (chicken instead of pork, etc). Egg rolls are very meh (like most places, unfortunately). Their sushi has been good, but they used to have better selections. Too many rolls now with crab. Their spicy dishes are barely spicy at all, and they don't ask what spice level you want. And their online ordering could be better. None of the dishes that are spicy are noted as such. They need a real website with their actual menu on it. They do still have good dishes. The hunan pork is usually very good, the shumai, although small, are delicious. The pork dumplings are very good but a little too thick. When ordering takeout they give generous portions, shrimp dishes have decent sized shrimp. Orders are always done quickly and on time. Inside atmosphere is very nice. They just need to get back to the quality they had when they first opened. read more
