I am Vietnamese growing up eating from the aunties cooking the most amazing Vietnamese food. So I know good Vietnamese food when I see it. This place is excellent! The bun Bo hue broth was very flavor with multiple layers from the lemongrass to the chili oil. The it had most of the right meat in it except I didn't like they chose thick sliced hams. I won't ding them for that but blood clot would've been better! It was a cold windy day and this was an excellent meal to warm up on! My kid had the pho combo and he said it was excellent. The Bo luc lac had a nice coconut flavor to it with a solid lemongrass flavor also. It was a nice dish. The vermicelli looked delicious also getting a 5 star from my other kid. Service was fast. The restaurant location is very convenient- close to train stations and near lots of shops. The restaurant is bright, neat, clean and spacious. We ordered a combination noodle soup and two grilled pork chops noodle soups. One set of grilled pork chops was very chewy and dry, however, the other set was fine. The other set of grilled pork chops was juicy and soft. The combination noodle soups did not have much meats inside. It only had a few pieces of chopped meat balls and two slices of beef brisket. The noodle portion was reasonable. The soup base was tasty. Service was okay. My partner and I were craving Vietnamese food, so we stumbled upon Pho Top, one of the pho spots that weren't closed on Mondays. The restaurant was empty at around 6:30PM. The interior was lovely, but that was about it. We ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls, Beef Cube / Beef Flank With Lemongrass Over Rice, and a Bun Bo Hue. The spring rolls came out first, but it was lacking in flavor. As mentioned in other reviews, the wraps are more like egg roll wrappers, but the taste was overall bland. The beef cube came out next. It was fairly small in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants we've been to. The beef also tasted like really poor quality beef. The texture was a bit off, but the flavor was okay. Now for my Bun Bo Hue, I recommend anyone that's had this dish, to literally never get it from this place. The broth is so watered down and tasteless. While I was expecting to be hit with spicy, salty, and savory flavors, I was hit with a bland broth. There was no spice to it whatsoever, just a red color, so maybe it was red chili oil? I was so disappointed. To add to my disappointment, their music taste consisted of jazz-like covers of popular songs. Imagine my face when a slow and jazz rendition of Hotline Bling started playing. By far the worst pho spot I've been to. This should be called Pho Bottom instead. The pho broth was extremely watered down with absolutely no beef bone flavor whatsoever. It's like they use a few bouillon cubes and called it a day. There was a mountain of endless noodles and a few slices of beef! What a rip off for the lunch special price too. Major disappointment if you are looking for some authenticity. Spring roll?? How are you gonna advertise the real Vietnamese spring roll on your menu and bring out some egg roll looking wrappers!? Went in on a Friday evening and was surprised to see it was almost empty inside. Being a newer restaurant in the area I guess word hasn't gotten out yet. Craving pho and not wanting to venture into flushing sadly the options are limited in northern Nassau. Oh boy am I glad I gave this place a try! While some places will give you only lean beef or tiny portions this place gives you all the meats in huge portions. Their special pho had all the beef cuts including tripe and tendons. First time visiting this restaurant. As a pho enthusiast, I typically result to Pho Grand but this location is closer to me. I ordered the Combination Bowl, with brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef ball. The amount of tripe out weighed all the other meats, but other than the offset proportions, I also found the broth to be a bit watery. They put shrimp in my wife's dish went we repeatedly told them she was extremely allergic and they didn't understand put fried shrimp bits and a shrimp spring roll and they tried to explain everything there was made with shrimp charged us and then we went to the er and is currently there but regardless if you have food allergy's don't go there they won't understand you I'm saving you a hospital bill if I could give them 0 stars I would never coming her again read more

Service was quick and helpful. Our waitress answered all of our questions about the menu and made ordering easy. We chose the summer rolls, a noodle soup with grilled pork chop, and the seafood noodle soup (just shrimp). The summer rolls were standard but had a slight vinegar flavor (possibly picked radish/carrot) which we enjoyed. The peanut dipping sauce was too sweet for our taste so we mixed in sriracha and hoisin which helped to balance it. I'd get these again. Both soups arrived nice and hot with my pork on the side - the usual side of lime, bean sprouts, jalapeño, and Thai basil too. The broths were on the saltier end with notes of clove and anise although I wish there was more complexity in flavor. The shrimp were tender and the grilled pork quite flavorful (came with a mild, sweet fish sauce based dipping sauce). I appreciated the soups not having excessive raw onion that other places typically add - this had just enough. Our total before tip was $40 which included a 10% discount they advertise on the front door. I assume this is in response to other reviews and feedback.
