I've been trying to branch out into Sanford so we got takeout here. We each got drunken noodles and although they were hearty they were flavorless. The wings were actually an embarrassment, they were gross. Pork dumplings were yeasty but very small. Oh well!

My half glass of water. I honestly had not had any out of the glass at this point.

The new owner is driving down the quality. This used to be my go to, but the last two times have been sorely disappointing. I went in the last day that the original owner was there training the new owner and it was already a different quality. I went in yesterday to see how things were going and I'm sad to say I will not be going back. My first issue was the drink offering. The owner asked if I would like hot tea or water. I asked if I could have both. Both resulted in a half a glass of iced water and two small tea cups worth of hot tea. I drank my water and sipped on my tea and was never asked if I wanted any more water. I didn't expect a refill of tea, but more than a half a glass of water would have been nice. I ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls and a regular chicken pho. The egg rolls were both dripping in oil and cold at the same time. The pho had no flavor. Usually the pho broth is nice and savory and I don't put a lot of extras in it, it stands alone as a wonderful flavor. This was so disappointing. I think I had about 3 pieces of chicken in the entire bowl. The owner was not very nice to his singular worker either. The worker came out and helped clear a few tables and cleaned up, the owner immediately followed up with complaints and coming back out to re-wipe the already clean tables. I counted about 5 times he went to the back to fuss at him (pretty conspicuously) while I was there. The worker was doing a great job and seemed to be taking things in stride, but I don't know how long that will last. I'm so sad that this is what this place is becoming.

Never thought I'd see the day a Vietnamese restaurant in Sanford. We only got take out, but the service was friendly. The XL beef pho had a generous portion of noodles. The beef was sliced thicker than I'm used to, but that's fine. The broth did have good flavor but just a tad oily. Light on the scallions and cilantro unfortunately. Extra points for it being served with all the correct sides (bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño and sauces) so I'm very impressed. The menu is limited (no noodle bowls) as it also caters to Chinese and Thai dishes. That does make me a bit weary. Next time I will try dining in for the final verdict.

New place in Sanford! I'm a pho-natic and can say this place is as good as any I've tried. The "regular" is plenty big with a good sized portion of beef. Nice they give you some additional fresh cilantro which most dont. Pleasant and attentive staff. Overall well worth it. The only negative is parking. There is none.

We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation. We arrived on a Saturday around 5:30. The service was phenomenal and the food was amazing. Everything we ordered came out in record speed and all was of high quality. We will definitely be back and grabbed a menu for takeout! Highly recommended!

Some of the mushrooms that were picked out after eating one. Nice I'm an asshole for requesting a food I can't eat not be added though.

I decided to go to Pho today, after seeing it next to Yummy House, figuring I'd get better food and service. Honestly, before I mention my issue, I'll stare that their fried dumplings, taste like potato pancakes, and were oily, and had barely a filling. Now, my serious issue. I can't eat mushrooms; they make me very ill. I requested no mushrooms in my curry, and was told they could accommodate. I go to eat the curry, and in taking a bite, I spit out a mushroom. I called the restaurant, and explained that if I wind up at the hospital, I wool expect my expenses paid. The woman who answered the phone talked to the owner, and I heard everything. She insisted I was lying, that I stated onions & peppers, and the owner said then they won't pay. I informed her when she got back on the line, I heard everything, and she was mistaking me for a different customer, and if I were the one she was talking about, why are there onions and peppers in my dish? She rudely stated she needed to look up my receipt. After she came back on, she asked when I came. She then stated to me and her boss, it was a different girl who was on, but she proceeded to tell her boss I was an asshole for correcting her. Fuck this shit-hole. I hope I get very ill from eating this dish, and they lose their right to ruin a business in this state. HORRIBLE RESTAURANT!

The food was tasty, but very little rice with the meal rice is cheap. The serving should be bigger for what you're paying.

My lychee tea was a bit too sweet, I had it kindly and graciously remade for me. Their banh mi has a lot of potential. The bread is perfect, crispy chewy. Lots of filling. I am struggling in the sense the pork/meats and seasonings were really sweet that it overpowered the cilantro, jalapeños. All I could taste is sweetness which was disappointing to me because I think this could be a great sandwich. My friend enjoyed her pork belly banh mi. But agreed the drink was cloyingly sweet. I think they should provide little condiment cups because they have a condiment stand. Would have to bring your whole tray over to put whatever you want on your food. Also it's open, I would suggest it would be covered, as it is fully exposed to the elements which can be a bit unnerving.

They rearranged the configuration to make space for more tables, and an easier to access bathroom. They also streamlined the menu. They no longer have the wall of coolers with alcoholic beverages (like canned cocktails, beer, and wine). They do have one cooler with a variety of soft drinks. They do still sell some bottled and canned alcoholic beverages, but a very limited variety. They also no longer have the shelves of packaged food for sale. They now have one tiny shelf with a limited variety of dry ramen. The new layout makes it feel much more like a take out sub shop style venue. I tried the pho, which was my first time...I usually get a banh mi...and they had an unusual option...Pho with ramen noddles instead of the traditional rice noodles. It was delicious! The broth was flavorful, the meat, herbs and bean sprouts were fresh, and the ramen noodles were great in Pho! It was also my first time eating in, and it was actually pretty nice...I was the first one seated at a table, but by the time I finished there were 3 other parties seated at tables, or the high stools along the window counter. Good lunch spot.

Food was good! I tried the fresh garden roll, the crispy veggie spring rolls, and 3 bubble drinks. The fresh garden roll was amazing. Filled with tons are tightly rolled veggies and fresh herbs and just the right amount of vermicelli rice noodles. They came with a Thai sweet chili dipping sauce and peanut sauce. Both sauces were good, but the peanut sauce was a little too thick...it didn't work to dip the roll into it...you have scoop it on the roll, but it tasted delicious. The crispy veggies spring rolls were perfectly slim, and fried to perfection. The sweet chili dipping sauce was perfect for these. Again, just the right amount of rice vermicelli noodle, and lots of veggies. I tried 3 flavors of bubble tea...a lavender milk tea, mango tea and a strawberry tea. All were very good. The amount of tapioca pearls was a little disappointing...could have added a bit more, but despite that, they were delicious. The atmosphere is a casual take out restaurant. There are 2 tables, and a counter that runs along the windows with stools, so one could eat in if you wanted to. There are also a limited amount of Asian groceries on shelves next to the counter...actually a good selection of pantry basics one might need. There is a well stocked bottled drinks cooler as well for picking up drinks along with the take-out. The service was friendly. A teenager boy worked the counter, and lots of people seemed to be working in the kitchen. It definitely felt like a family run restaurant. I placed my order at the counter and was told it would take about 10 minutes. I sat at a table while I waited for the food. I didn't see a sign for a restroom, so I asked where it was. I was told it was the door that says "employees only". The bathroom was clean. When my food was ready, the boy brought the bag to the table where I was sitting, and put the 3 drinks in a cardboard drink holder to make it easier to carry. So nice. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes next time.
