This restaurant is located 7 minute drive from the UNE campus (basically the closest restaurant to the campus)...very convenient if you're there for a sports events, and need to pick up dinner. Food was good! I tried the fresh garden roll, the crispy veggie spring rolls, and 3 bubble drinks. The fresh garden roll was amazing. Filled with tons are tightly rolled veggies and fresh herbs and just the right amount of vermicelli rice noodles. They came with a Thai sweet chili dipping sauce and peanut sauce. Both sauces were good, but the peanut sauce was a little too thick...it didn't work to dip the roll into it...you have scoop it on the roll, but it tasted delicious. The crispy veggies spring rolls were perfectly slim, and fried to perfection. The sweet chili dipping sauce was perfect for these. Again, just the right amount of rice vermicelli noodle, and lots of veggies. I tried 3 flavors of bubble tea...a lavender milk tea, mango tea and a strawberry tea. All were very good. The amount of tapioca pearls was a little disappointing...could have added a bit more, but despite that, they were delicious. The atmosphere is a casual take out restaurant. There are 2 tables, and a counter that runs along the windows with stools, so one could eat in if you wanted to. There are also a limited amount of Asian groceries on shelves next to the counter...actually a good selection of pantry basics one might need. There is a well stocked bottled drinks cooler as well for picking up drinks along with the take-out. The service was friendly. A teenager boy worked the counter, and lots of people seemed to be working in the kitchen. It definitely felt like a family run restaurant. I placed my order at the counter and was told it would take about 10 minutes. I sat at a table while I waited for the food. I didn't see a sign for a restroom, so I asked where it was. I was told it was the door that says "employees only". The bathroom was clean. When my food was ready, the boy brought the bag to the table where I was sitting, and put the 3 drinks in a cardboard drink holder to make it easier to carry. So nice. We have had really good food at times and not great in our last order. I had a chicken broccoli dish that I couldn't eat. The dish had a burned oil smell and taste. We had to throw it out. The fresh spring rolls are always very good. Most dishes we have ordered do not have enough sauce We love that everything is fresh and not gloppy but a bit more sauce would be great. We aren't giving up on you, more consistency would be great. read more

This place is a hidden gem. We came here after a tournament nearby, my athlete was starving, i wanted Asian food. The young lady at the counter is super friendly and nice. There menu offered a variety of Asian cuisines. The portions are large and the flavors are excellent. My athlete who usually has no trouble finishing pad Thai needed a to-go box. The massaman curry was delicious and loaded with fresh vegetables. Too bad we live a bit far (over an hour away) otherwise this would be a regular spot. read more

We ordered the drunken noodle and the pineapple fried rice. Both were too greasy and tasted the same, not great. There was maybe 2 small pieces of pineapple in the rice. Not good enough to repeat. read more

Husband enjoyed the drunken noodles though the picture shows the thin rice noodles (which he prefers) but got wide noodles. If the picture was accurate we would have requested the thin noodles. Pad Thai was good but it needed more sauce, it was pretty dry. The crispy chicken on it was too notch, so good. Hubby was also excited for cream cheese rangoons as he's not a crab fan and those were yummy. I also got a bubble tea that I wouldn't get again, the boba just tasted weird and I didn't finish it. We personally love this food! We get take out sometimes, twice a week - the chicken curry and fresh spring rolls are the best! My husband says the Pho is fantastic. Service is always with a smile and freshly made to order. Highly recommend a try! read more

So far, we've ordered at least 3 times & have sampled at least 3 different items with each order. Every choice has been delicious. We always over order so we have leftovers & all reheat perfectly. Let me preface this review by stating I usually never review restaurants or anything really but I absolutely have to give Asian Combo 5 stars in a blatantly selfish attempt to help them stick around. That's even at the risk they get so popular they're food is hard to get , which I can easily imagine happening. Wow, this is the best Thai/Asian food I've tried in Biddeford after moving down from Portland 7 years ago. I am a big fan of Thai/Asian food and Portland has many good choices and I put Asian Combo up there with the best of them. This past Saturday we got a large takeout order and everything was was gone by lunch the following day. We ordered fried pork wontons, crab rangoon, chicken wings, pad Thai chicken, yellow curry chicken and orange chicken. All the flavors were on point and ingredients fresh. My biggest complaint with other Asian restaurants in the area is that the chicken has the consistency of rubber like it's been precooked and sitting around for too long. This is not the case with this place. The orange chicken, which is what we get for our kids, was pan seared without a lot breading which was very delicious. The curry was very flavorful and well seasoned which can be tricky. Both apps were crispy and freshly prepared. The chicken wings were up there with some of the best around; big, crispy fried drumettes tossed in honey and garlic. My only criticism is that the pad Thai noodles were over sauced for my taste but my family had no problems. Again, if you're looking for some freshly prepared Thai/Asian cuisine please give it a try and spread the word that Asian Combo is the real deal! read more
