    Self service only.

This has been one of our 'must do meals' for every trip to Maine for the past five or more years. The food is simply the best. Still is, but.... Recent reviews failed to mention that they are still exclusively take out now or 'self service' at one of the few remaining tables. Half of the small room has been partitioned off for storage. It's a shame, we really enjoyed eating in there. Place your order by phone or their website. Otherwise you'll find yourself standing and jotting your order onto small post it notes to hand to the woman behind the counter as we did. Seriously. We waited more than a half hour for our order. Credit to them having it ready nearly on time. Disappointed though that we had to take the food back to our hotel to eat in the breakfast area off cheap paper plates with phasic utensils. It's just not the same. Like a Covid time warp.

Let me set this straight, probably some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten. My dad and I were STARVING and had a hankering for some red curry. We saw this place on the side of the road and honestly weren't expecting much but boy were we wrong. We first had a soup (forget the name) which was incredible. The broth was refreshing and cleansed my soul. Next we had some scallion pancakes which were good as well. For the main course we had shrimp fried rice and the flavor was incredible. The rice wasn't sticking together which is something I always commend and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The highlight of my meal was the red curry. This is he best red curry I have ever had. A good solid portion of vegetables and chicken dropped in the best tasting red curry. Truly tantalized my tase buds. The interior was super cool and the people working there were cooler. If you want to be surprised, come here, 15/10 recommend

Hands down best Thai food in Maine. During these crazy times they have taken every precaution and more to deliver delicious germ free food! When I pulled up for pick up they have a complete corona set up screened by plastic sheets, hand sanitizer and speaker to communicate through, so impressed. If more businesses took these precautions America would be in a much better place. Thank you bua!

This restaurant appears to be only take out- I was taken aback by the no contact service- it was very extreme. I like to see who is selling me food and have human interaction. The food was ok but not great for the price.

Beige sauce. Beige peanuts. Zero spice. Too sweet. Bland flavors. Mostly noodles and sprouts. Not much protein. Maybe it was an off night. But . . . blah. They brought some ground chilis, that added a touch of heat but that didn't add much flavor. I kept adding chilis. It didn't fix the underlying lack of flavor. Daughter got the drunken noodles. It definitely looked better than the Pad Thai. She said it was average at best. At least it had some color. We both ordered our dishes spicy and neither one had any spice. Like zero on a scale of 1 to 5. Both entrees were about $14. The salvation of the meal was the curry puff appetizer. They were really good. Savory filling in a flaky pastry crust. Like a Thai-chicken and curry empanada. So so so good. They were $8. Service was ok. There were only a few tables with patrons so that helped. The place is really cute, and they put a pitcher of water on the table along with nice water glasses. I just wish the food was spicy enough to need a lot of water. If I was scoring only for the Pad Thai, I'd give this a minus zero. With the curry puffs and the nice ambiance, I'm giving this a generous three stars. It should really be a two star review. That said, lots of people seem to have positive reviews. Maybe I just hit a bad night or a substitute cook.

All items were expertly cooked, and the flavor was so satisfying, hitting so many notes. All three at my table felt equally enthusiastic about the food. The restaurant is small (but they do a lot of takeout), so anticipate possibly waiting for a table. The time from ordering to receiving your order was quick. But the best part of the restaurant was the family that owns it. They were so nice and accommodating, hospitality at its finest. A great example, I was told my takeout order would be another 5-10 minutes, so I went outside to my car. The owner walked it out to my car. So gracious and positive. Look them up in your GPS and let it guide you to a wonderful meal.
