Finally took a chance on this hole in the wall just for the heck of it. Ordered the most inauthentic Americanized dish possible (chicken chop suey)....just to see how they'd manage it. This is the best Chinese take out in biddeford and Saco. I've tried happy dragon, koi, wok n roll, tin tin buffet, and in a long time maymee so I've got a lot to compare to. Five stars compared to those restaurants in biddeford I listed because of price, quality, and portion. They're a dollar less than the competitors when it comes to the combos and they give you more food at better quality. If you've never given them a try I really recommend you give them a chance. Yummy House has the best egg rolls. Always crunchy with good flavor. Most all of their dishes are good tasting and plentiful. The reason I started with the egg roll comment is they are that good. Had been going elsewhere a few doors down, but the combo of a rude waitress and consistently gross-tasting egg rolls over there brought me to the Yummy House. You can't go wrong with any of their lo mein dishes, so good I don't even bother to order rice as a side now (altho if you prefer rice instead of noodles for a side, their roast pork fried rice is top notch). So far (after going here for years) have never received an order screwed up (knock on wood). And we always put in a massive, complicated order, (eyes bigger than stomachs). Wow wow wow wow... We moved to Biddeford a few years ago. We had all but given up on Chinese food. We had tried just about every place between Biddeford and Saco and OOB. Maybe those places were having off nights, but we didn't enjoy them and weren't going back fast. We were about to start given them second chances, when we discovered Yummy House. And so glad we did discover it! The prices are exactly what you would expect. But the portions are very generous. And the quality is above average for Chinese food. Everything we got tasted fresh. The Chicken Fingers were hot but not dried out, with just the right amount of batter. The spring rolls were good. The Scallion Pancakes were tasty. The pork fried rice, while it could have used more pork, was out of this world. The only complain was the crab rangoons. They aren't horrible, we just don't prefer ones that are less sweet and taste more like cream cheese. As for other things... The inside of the store was fine. I mean, who doesn't get take out. The staff was friendly and polite. I don't normally tip Chinese takeout, but next time I will for this place. Keep up the good work and you'll have our business for life. read more

But I finally got fed up tonight as it's the 10th time I've waited 1 1/2 - 2 hours for my food to arrive cold once again.
