Sesame chicken with rice and egg roll

My favorite thing from Ocean jade kitchen was their coconut smoothie! It was very refreshing and sweet. Perfect for the end of a hot day on the beach. The sesame chicken meal was extremely large and the leftovers lasted multiple meals! Everything tasted great!

Food was good service was good, Boba was not. It tasted like brown sugar Jelly( maybe overcooked boba) - the waitress was nice and did her best to offer a resolution ( to take the boba charge off$1)and smooth over the situation but did not offer another drink, or to remove it from my tab. We got shrimp lo mein and shrimp tasted fresh, and cooked perfectly! Sesame chicken was great. It cost around $40+ For boba and one soda and two combination meals (you get an app with it like an egg roll or 3 crab ragoons) depending on what you choose. I would recommend to try it food and service was great!

Bland a flavorless boiled protein. Not bad but not good either. Not sure what else there is to say.

Food was good. Service was great. Very accommodating as it was late. It didn't take very long to get our food.

You're…read moremet with the lingering scent of beer soaked into the floor from nights that were clearly busier than anyone could properly manage. Now, most people would interpret that as neglect. But that's not quite right. It's evidence. Evidence that this is a place that has been tested, repeatedly, and continues to operate under pressure. And strangely enough, that inspires a certain confidence. You know, almost immediately, the drinks are going to be done properly. I ordered something simple. chicken fingers with buffalo sauce and bleu cheese. Nothing remarkable, and that's precisely the point. They weren't trying to reinvent anything. They were just... competent. And competence, especially in an environment that borders on chaos, is not trivial. It's reliability. It's order, holding its ground. The service reflected that same tension. Reese, the bartender, was clearly under strain. busy to the point where most people would start to fracture, but she didn't. She held the line. And if you've spent enough time in this industry, you know that's not easy to do. There's something almost admirable about watching someone maintain composure when everything around them is loud, demanding, and slightly out of control. And that's really the essence of the place. It's loud... almost aggressively so. Packed. Borderline unruly. At one point, there was a couple engaged in what was clearly a volatile argument... infidelity, perhaps? but the noise swallowed the details. It didn't matter. The specifics were irrelevant. What you were witnessing was raw human behavior, unfiltered, playing out in real time. And oddly enough, it fit perfectly. This is not a place for quiet reflection or carefully structured conversation. It's a place where order and chaos collide and neither one fully wins. But if you're the kind of person who can tolerate that, or even enjoy it... there's something undeniably compelling about it. If you want quiet, look elsewhere. But if you're willing to step into something louder, messier, and far more alive, then this place offers exactly that. It's not refined. It's not restrained. It's something closer to a modern day bacchanal. And for better or worse, that's the point.

My daughter and I went for lunch, got seated immediately, and there was live music, a very 'beach music' duo of sax and ax. We were seated far enough from the bandstand that we could converse easily. The service is impeccable, since the wait staff are so friendly. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Very reasonably priced, too. I had my NE favorite dish, poutine. Wow! Checks all the bases. We went on a Thursday. No idea how jammed it gets on weekends.

The Staff is extremely friendly and if you are lucky enough to get Tracy, you've hit the lottery of waitresses, her mom is the one that bakes the asparagus tarts fresh every day and when they're gone, that's it for that day. My daughter had the steamers which were a huge pile of large steamers with a salad and a cup of French onion soup. I myself had the fresh shelled lobster appetizer. This is a whole lobster, lazy man style with hot butter. My husband had the 12 ounce sirloin steak with baked potato. For drinks, my daughter had a lemon drop martini and my husband got a bucket of beers. There are four beers in a bucket. This is a great value because if you don't finish them, they give you tokens to use for your next visit. So you can use them at any time through the season. I suggest if you have the opportunity to visit this restaurant, I would definitely take advantage of it and you can always tell Tracy that Debby sent you. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did and we do frequent here often.

I spoke with the front desk and inquired about dining options. "Where does one go in OOB for some classic sit down seafood fare?" I asked. "Well Foo, I'd say the Bell Buoy up the street is your best bet." So, I went up the big main drag and there was a little time capsule of a restaurant. I was greeted so nicely by a very lovely tattooed lady. "The hotel called ahead, you must be Foo, follow me to our best table!" She was so nice to sit Foo in grand style. "So Foo, what'll be sweetie pie?" "I'll have a cup of bisque to start with some stuffed mushrooms. Then the lazy man stuffed lobster with baked and slaw. I'll have the grapefruit pudding for dessert and whiskey sour to start, chop, chop, you vivacious tattooed expertly skilled foodie personality!" said me, Foo! "Ah, Foo, I bet you say that to all the ladies! I'll get your order going and grab that cocktail for ya!" "Xie, xie!" said Foo. I love with big heart the Bell Buoy!
