The food here was good. You literally cannot beat the view. The outdoor seating area is on the edge of the sand over overlooking the ocean. The service was good. The waitress was nice. We thought the food was good. One little negative was that the silverware was a little dirty. But other than that, it was a good experience.

Spent a week at Old Orchard Beach and ate here three times. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. The restaurant is perfectly located right on the beach, offering stunning ocean views that set the perfect ambiance for a meal. Whether you're dining inside or out on the deck, you get a front-row seat to the beauty of the coastline. The menu has a great selection of fresh seafood, classic beach fare, and delicious drinks. I had the lobster roll, and it was one of the best I've ever tasted -- fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The clam chowder was another highlight, creamy and packed with flavor. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned.

View is amazing, staff is exceptional! The Lobster Wontons are Fantastic!! My Blueberry piña colada was fantastic, my hubby's Blueberry Muffin Mule is the best Mule that he and I have ever tasted! Great Place!!

    It's on the beach

The food is so good and the staff is super friendly and always asking if you need anything!! The place is clean quiet. The one thing is that it's cold in there wear a sweatshirt !

Stopped in here for lunch and drinks and had a really nice time. The lobster roll was really good, not that Ive had one before to make a comparison, but it was still good. The painkillers were very refreshing too, and served in a bucket making them worth the price. In addition, we ordered their fried calamari. I will say it was a bit overcooked and chewy...and not served with lemon, my friend and I both found that odd. I found the food a bit overpriced, but this is a touristy town...so, it is what it is. I'd definitely return.

Was on vacation in Old Orchard and went to Surf 6 for dinner. The service was excellent and the waitress was very fast. The portions were pretty small. A couple of us got the lobster roll, which was just a hot dog roll with a few pieces of lobster meat. I was definitely hungry when I left the restaurant. We got a rum bucket which was good and a Long Island iced tea. I will say, the drinks are made strong!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mama's out there! Thought it would be nice to sit out by the beach over some drinks and food. Hadn't eaten here yet and the reviews looked promising so my husband and I gave it a go. When we arrived we were asked by the hostess whether we wanted to sit inside or outside...There's still a bit of a chill in the air so we opted to sit inside. We were sat by the windows that overlooked the beach. Beautiful view of the pier as well! The atmosphere inside is wicked cool...Has that pirate coastal vibe. Our server greeted us with a smile and menus. We partied it up Friday night so I skipped on their specialty cocktails and stuck with a Shirley Temple, My hubby ordered the Blueberry Colada! It has a kick to it which is nice because you're getting your moneys worth. He enjoyed it. For starters we ordered the New England Clam Chowder and the Lobster Stew. The Clam Chowder was pretty good and the Lobster Stew was good too. A little salty but not bad. For entrees my husband ordered the fried clams with fries and said the clams were delicious! He thought at first that their tarter sauce was ranch dressing and asked our waitress for tarter sauce only to find out it was actually tarter sauce they'd given him and not ranch. Their tarter sauce is pretty mild. I ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese. They definitely don't rob you of Lobster so that was a HUGE bonus! Nothing's worse than ordering Lobster Mac and you get two skimpy pieces of Lobster...but not here, they hook it up! The cheese sauce fell a wee bit short but with such a heaping serving of Lobster mixed in who could complain. Overall both my husband and I were happy with our experience here. The servings are large so we got full pretty quickly and took our left overs home. If you happen to be in Old Orchard Beach, this place is definitely worth visiting.

Since it's seat yourself, we settled in quickly. It took a little while for someone to acknowledge us, but once we were greeted, the service was friendly and efficient for the rest of the meal. The cocktails were good--nothing extraordinary, but exactly what we expected for a casual waterfront restaurant. The food was the highlight. My blackened haddock sandwich was excellent, and my wife said her lobster roll was one of the best she's had during our Maine trip. Our son loved the kids' haddock fingers, and our daughter ordered the cheeseburger from the regular menu since there wasn't one on the kids' menu. Both cleaned their plates, which says a lot! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and would happily return the next time we're in Old Orchard Beach.

When we finally did, it was almost 90 minutes before our food came. We got an appetizer but were never offered extra plates or a "how's it going" or refills until the food arrived. The waitress left as fast as she could. The drink order was messed up, and we were MINUTES AWAY from putting $20 on the table and leaving. When the food did arrive, part of the order was missing because "it went to someone else." WTF? Also, as an insult to injury, the menu has items listed as gluten free. We have a symptomatic celiac with us and when we mention one person needed to be gluten free the waitress kinda said "uh ok" which wasn't confidence inspiring. And clearly there is cross contact because our family member doesn't feel good after ordering simple nachos (marked GF). Look, restaurants are hard, I know. But maybe this place used to be good? Why was it so packed? The food that we did end up getting was mediocre, like it all came from US Foods or Sysco. Other than the lobster presumably. But everything was your basic "throw it in a fryer" type stuff you get anywhere else. I haven't left a zero percent tip in 20 years, but tonight, they earned it.

You're…read moremet with the lingering scent of beer soaked into the floor from nights that were clearly busier than anyone could properly manage. Now, most people would interpret that as neglect. But that's not quite right. It's evidence. Evidence that this is a place that has been tested, repeatedly, and continues to operate under pressure. And strangely enough, that inspires a certain confidence. You know, almost immediately, the drinks are going to be done properly. I ordered something simple. chicken fingers with buffalo sauce and bleu cheese. Nothing remarkable, and that's precisely the point. They weren't trying to reinvent anything. They were just... competent. And competence, especially in an environment that borders on chaos, is not trivial. It's reliability. It's order, holding its ground. The service reflected that same tension. Reese, the bartender, was clearly under strain. busy to the point where most people would start to fracture, but she didn't. She held the line. And if you've spent enough time in this industry, you know that's not easy to do. There's something almost admirable about watching someone maintain composure when everything around them is loud, demanding, and slightly out of control. And that's really the essence of the place. It's loud... almost aggressively so. Packed. Borderline unruly. At one point, there was a couple engaged in what was clearly a volatile argument... infidelity, perhaps? but the noise swallowed the details. It didn't matter. The specifics were irrelevant. What you were witnessing was raw human behavior, unfiltered, playing out in real time. And oddly enough, it fit perfectly. This is not a place for quiet reflection or carefully structured conversation. It's a place where order and chaos collide and neither one fully wins. But if you're the kind of person who can tolerate that, or even enjoy it... there's something undeniably compelling about it. If you want quiet, look elsewhere. But if you're willing to step into something louder, messier, and far more alive, then this place offers exactly that. It's not refined. It's not restrained. It's something closer to a modern day bacchanal. And for better or worse, that's the point.
