I've been to mee d sooo many times and never had less than a 5 star authentic Thai experience. Service is always so kind, hardworking, attentive and friendly. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but some of my best hits are, crispy duck pad woon sen, pad Thai, any of the soups, and of course their fried rice. Don't sleep on their chicken wings, juicy with the best crunch. The restaurant is also super cute. I think they would do really well with a second location in kennebunk!

They are so wonderful! The first time I went in was about 2:45 pm for a late lunch, and they were just getting ready to take a break, and sit down and eat themselves as a family, and they invited me to stay, and eat with them. I was so impressed! They are kind, and friendly, and even though we were all eating, the waiter came over a few times while he was eating, just to make sure I was taken care of. You don't find this too often in any restaurants, and I was and am still totally impressed with their kindness, and service. Oh, and did I mention, the Food IS Fabulous! Go see fou yourself. You won't be disappointed! I hope this little GEM is here for many more years. Go make that happen!

Mekhong is a pleasant surprise, in that it's actually better than any of my local Thai places. I would highly recommend the golden pouches and the drunken noodles, especially if you enjoy spicy food. I tried spice level three on the drunken noodles and was quite pleased with it, can't imagine how hot level 5 feels . Pick up orders are very conveniently placed on a shelfing unit to the left as you walk into the vestibule and utensils can be acquired at the host station inside the restaurant. Our server was awesome and took our drink and appetizer orders while we pondered the large menu. As we split our dishes family style, the selection offered a great balance. Parking is on the street, but at least not the most crowded bit of downtown, so spots were fairly easily available. All in all a really quality find that I highly recommend!
