This is a fairly large restaurant as far as pho places go with 2 entrances. The service is pretty average but the food is why you come here. Really good broth for their pho. Not oily at all. I usually get it with the filet mignon. The spring rolls are fresh and so are the egg rolls with lettuce wraps. This place is open during quarantine!!! Just call over the phone and you can pick it up there easily. I always get the rare beef pho and the tofu spring rolls. The spring rolls are the best that I've had! The tofu is crisp and the peanut sauce is so yummy. This last visit, I tried the Cajun food for the first time with my mom. We ordered a pound of clams with the garlic sauce. There was A LOT of garlic, so if you are sensitive, ask if they can lower the dose. My mom was very happy with the clams and she's from New England, so you know that's a good sign! She doesn't like pho, so I'm very happy I can finally get pho with her now! This is the best overall Vietnamese restaurant in the sfv. It offers a variety of Vietnamese cuisine, other than Pho. Yes, there's more to Vietnamese food than Pho. We had: 1. Banh Xeo - it's a cross between a crepe, and a taco. Filled with slices of pork, shrimp, bean sprouts. It comes with a side of fresh veggies, and herbs, along with dipping sauce. This dish is extremely difficult to make, the shell has to be dry and flaky, retain the shape, and not oily. Well done! My only criticism is: too much bean sprout. I will ask fir more meat, shrimp filling next time, with an additional charge as well. The dipping sauce is ok. 4 stars. A must try. 2. Goi Cuon - a spring roll of noodles, shrimp, slice pork, veggies. Comes with tasty dipping sauce. It's easy to make at home, but cravings need to be satisfied. 4 stars. 3. Hu Tieu - a noodle soup, that's tasty, and you get to choose the types of noodle. 4 stars 4. A pound of Cajun shrimp - best Cajun shrimp in the valley. Why? It's not full of sodium(salt). Tasty. 5 stars. 5. Fresh coconut - coconut water from fresh coconuts, and you get to scoop the coconut meat afterwards. Yes, you can buy it at the market. But it's healthier than soda. Service: 5 stars. 1. Broken English by servers, but they try really hard to do their thing. 2. The pretty, young female owner speaks superb English, so ask for her if there is a problem with ordering, or issues. 3. They make a conscious effort to check up on you, if not, wave your hand, and they are right there. Parking: 3 stars. Small parking space in the plaza, but plenty of street parking, you just got to walk. One time I came and the family (I'm assuming) that owns it was screaming at each other. LOUDLY and it was funny but also so unprofessional. The spring rolls are good and cheap as expected. The pho bun (don't know where to put the accents) is OK. I eat pho a lot so for me it's not a place I'm going to go out of my way for but it gets the pho craving satisfied. I guess. Service is eh. I'm so glad that this place is located super close to home. I have had pho at several places before, but this one is the best by far. I usually get the filet mignon pho. The beef broth tastes amazing, and I am able to order it with egg noodles (which is only offered at some places). I ventured off the beaten path and ordered the pork and pork chop plate. It was seasoned very well and accompanied my pho quite nicely. We ordered the boiled shrimp (a la Boiling Crab), but it didn't have much flavor to it. It's forgettable. Everything takes time to get used to, so I'm sure the servers and staff here were getting used to their roles, while stressing over the opening of their restaurant. Give these people a break! If you've actually talked to the staff, then you'd know that this is a PURELY FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS! First off, I had a great experience in the restaurant. I wish the place had a larger parking lot, but I'm sure you can find street parking around the area. Inside, I think the place has great interior decorating! It creates an open and inviting ambience. My family and I were seated in a booth, which I loved. The seats were really comfy. Not only that, the food was really good too. I got a broken rice dish, while the others in my group got dishes ranging from rice to noodles. Each had their own unique but very traditional Vietnamese taste! The presentation was key here! They also offer free tea if you want something else to drink besides water. I think if you're there on a less-busy day, your experience will be more pleasant, since they're not running around and catching the attention of the waitress/waiters won't be such a problem. It depends, and it also depends on the attitude of the customer. Remember, you get good customer service if you're a good customer! Another thing I really love about this place is that they're open LATE! They're open until 10pm, which is a surprise, since not a lot of places in the valley are open past 8 or 9pm. So it's great for a late night dinner! Just be sure to get in the restaurant before the kitchen closes! Also, I heard that Saturday night is Karaoke night?! I haven't had pho for two ish maybe three years and I've been craving it so bad since moving back to The Valley. I looked up some local spots and liked the reviews for this place, so today I checked it out on a lunch date. It was so incredibly delicious. We had the #16 XL beef pho, wontons and spring rolls. Everything was so good. The pho was fresh, hot, flavorful and the perfect way to curve that craving. I legitimately wanted another bowl before leaving but decided against it since I realized how full I was lol. But I'm going to have to go back soon because it was divine. Friendly staff, lots of seating- chairs & tables and some booths. However, keep in mind the parking is very limited and mainly geared for compact cars, but don't let it deter you from carpooling or parking down the block if you have a bigger vehicle and are able to walk a bit. There is one handicapped parking spot in front of another business. Pho comes with all the normal fixings and the sauces on the table. So I come in at 9pm on Sunday night an hour before closing. I'm tired and hungry and I just wanna eat and go home to sleep. I sit down and wait a good 10 minutes, all the while trying to politely get anyone's attention. The guy behind the counter finally decides to pay attention to me and has the waitress come over. She walks over with that annoyed look as she pulls out her pad and pen and asks what I'd like. I said I don't know because I don't have a menu. She gives me one and walks away for another gawdamn 10min. I finally get to order number 28? It's supposed to be a noodle dish with pork, shrimp, and crab, with soup on the side. They bring it out and it has LOTS of thin slices of liver in it. As if it were the main protein. I pick the liver out and proceed to eat anyway cuz...I don't want any trouble. But I did want to see the menu again cuz it wasn't right that there was liver in it. Also after eating, I realized there was no crab. I verified what I ordered on the menu and asked the waitress if that was liver I had picked out. First she said yes and she was sorry they made a mistake but then said that its traditional that there's liver in the dish. Hmmm. And then I told her there was no crab in it and she said sorry and that she could bring the crab out now. I'm already done...wtf. Even at this point of total disappointment i was gonna leave my usual 20% tip. I said no and could you just give me the bill. She gave me the bill and I looked and it was the same price as what I originally ordered. They made the mistake and gave me liver instead of crab. First off...who the fcuk would order it like that? And you'd think they'd make it right somehow, right? No. I sat there for another 10 minutes waiting for her to take my $10 for a $7.35 bill. That last wait was the last straw. I fished in my pocket and found $7.50 and put it on the table and bounced. I would have left $7.35 if I had exact change. read more

I love the pho with filet Mignon- the steak is tender & the beef broth is full of flavor! The ONLY thing that is not that great is the restroom- they've remodeled it a bit by painting the walls & adding some tiles but it still smells.
