Saw a tictok about this place and it looked good. So glad I tried it. Really great food, old school chinese. sesame beef is fantastic. The owner is such a nice and friendly guy. Big parking lot . Will definitely return. read more

Big Jim's Instagram hype got us good . Place looked stuck in 1975, and most of the food was straight-up awful. Kung pao tasted like salty peanut paste, the shrimp tasted rotten, and the soup looked like dishwater. $100+ later, 2 of 4 were throwing up. 2.5/10. Never trust Big Jim. read more

Easiest 5 star rating ever! I'm not the biggest chinese food fan (at least i thought) but I was excited to give a small valley business a chance. Silver Panda exceeded all expectations, they truly give you a special, 5 star service, all employees are so kind & friendly. We felt like family. Even if the service wasn't as spectacular as it was, the food was mindblowingly fresh & delicious! Matthew was our waiter he was very kind & attentive. We had questions about the menu, owner Denny went above & beyond walking us through it all & giving us recommendations. The food came out fast, piping hot & SO TASTY!!! The house special Romeo & Juliet shrimp was not only presented beautifully but packed with amazing flavor. The Lo-Mein was savory, not greasy at all like some other Chinese restaurants can be. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

Hadn't had Chinese food in Chatsworth so my partner and I decided to try Silver Panda and it was so good! We got the small wor wonton soup, which was just enough for 2 and the wontons were delicious. Also got the house chow fun, crispy duck, and broccoli with garlic sauce add steamed tofu. Everything was really good and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back! read more

The food at Silver Panda is SO damn good! We tried 7 dishes and everything was amazing, but the paper-wrapped chicken?! LIFE-CHANGING. I could literally come here just for that! The sesame beef and shrimp lo mein were also . The staff is incredibly sweet, and Denny--the owner and chef--was so welcoming and came out to talk to us about the dishes. Thank you for the hospitality, Denny! We'll definitely be regulars! read more

Best Chinese Food I have ever had. Nothing Comes close. When sitting in and dinning excellent service. And the restaurant has a wonderful ambiance. read more

Everything was very good, the staff was very friendly and kind, food was big portion and very good . I would recommend this place very much.

Came for the lunch special. Left having to hear the owners right wing ideology. Came here because I've been here a few times before and I've enjoyed it each time. We ordered the orange chicken, twice cooked pork and the hunan beef. The special comes with soup which I got the egg drop soup. The also offer the sweet and sour soup which is equally as good. The orange chicken was nice and crispy. Such a fresh taste. The twice cooked pork and the human beef had the same tender texture which felt like it would melt in your mouth. Both had their own bold flavors which blended really well. Honestly the service was a little slow, but that's only because our waiter who was really nice. Was stretched thin white him being the only person it seemed on the floor. After a bit of time someone who I would believe to be one of the owners comes out and is talking with one of the customers. Not even trying to be in their business, but they're talking loud enough for everyone to hear. They're both spitting out right wing ideology which was really upsetting to hear. It was really disappointing to hear what was coming out their mouth. If you done want politics to mess with your business. Maybe you should be so loud about how democrats are ruining california and it's just a bunch of communists. The food was amazing. Atmosphere... not as much. read more

Silver Panda is a hidden Gem. I live in Simi Valley but go to Chatsworth often for food as they have some good options. This place was brought to my attention by Big Jim on Instagram and I wanted some good Chinese food and to try this place out. I have to say it is some of the best Chinese food I have had in a very very long time!! We got the Pupu tray (everything on it was fantastic and fresh), sesame beef which was absolutely delicious and the off menu item bbq pork egg foo young that was out of this world good (and hard to find good egg foo young). Everything was made fresh and brought to us rather quickly. The paper wrapped chicken and egg rolls were the star of the Pupu tray but everything included on it was great! Needless to say we will definitely be coming back here many times over in the future when that Chinese food craving comes over us. Highly recommend giving this place a try and trying what I listed here in the review cause everything was so flavorful and super delicious. Service was great too and I believe the owner or manager was even serving as well and stopped over to explain how certain things were made and how they do it. Great experience and looking forward to going back very soon! read more

My family and I come here pretty often for takeout. We live in the area and it's very convenient. We love their egg drop soup! Their wonton soup isn't my favorite but their prices are pretty fair. We finally decided to dine in for the first time for dinner on a Saturday. Our server was very nice! He was attentive and friendly. He also offered some suggestions since we didn't know what to order. We loved the honey walnut shrimp, the steam sole fish, the duck, and of course our egg drop soup. It was a very yummy dinner. The only thing I found odd was that the duck came with a side of "pancakes" to wrap it in but it literally was just a side of tortillas lol Ambiance was average, it was calm. Parking is no issue since it shares a lot with other shops. read more

I liked the food here. I've had their wonton soup before and enjoyed it so we decided to go for dinner and try other items. Only a few issues we had the time we came. First off, let me say that the service is great. The women here are really sweet and always smile, I appreciate that. We ordered a few dishes and I would say the broccoli beef which was alright. We ordered kungpao chicken that came out just warm and was very saucy. The chicken always was a a bit chewy. Could have just have been an off night. The walnut shrimp was delicious. We also ordered cream cheese wontons which were good. I would come back and give it another try. read more

Amazing service ambiance and food. The star is the cook and the service he provides in my opinion, by far the food is 5 star. The food will bring you back to to 1990s Chinese food but better nostalgia venue. Clean and worth the travel read more

Been going there for years and years. Good food. Pretty good service. My husband can't eat sesame and they are very accommodating to leave it out. Nice atmosphere, friendly people read more

This original authentic restaurant really impressed us the Homie vibe and welcoming people and service was incredible, but the food was out of this world, fresh and not as thick or fatty as other Chinese foods. It's truly a homemade Chinese food spot and you can feel and taste the freshness and care put into every dish. read more

My husband & I recently started to come here because of recommendations from The Next Door App. I'm so glad that we did! My husband always gets the vegetable Egg Foo Young & I've had the Imperial Shrimp dish and the Yang Chow fried rice. The BBQ pork is so flavorful it's addicting. The shrimp were large, fresh & plentiful. The vegetables were fresh & cooked to perfection. Their portions are quite large - enough for a second meal to take home (unless you're super hungry). The dishes are very flavorful and nicely presented. The service is excellent. Everyone is so nice and they make sure you are happy. Nice ambiance. Highly recommend trying this restaurant. read more

Lovely little sit down Chinese restaurant nestled in a shopping plaza at the corner of Devonshire / Mason, on the corner next to Rite Aid. Was there for a family event - about 25 of us - and we were seated in the back. We took two big tables and one small table. We ordered ample food - hot and sour soup, sesame chicken, fried rice, chop suey, shrimp etc - and it as delicious. The service was great and the employees super nice. Best Chinese restaurant in the entire Valley!! Been coming for over 20 years and it is always fabulous!! The prices are very reasonable and the food is top quality. Silver Panda continues to be our secret hole in the wall here in the valley, that offers some of the best authentic Chinese food. From the minute you walk in, you're transported back to the 90's when pink furniture and Chinese wallpaper was popular. I love it though. You're always greeted with a smile. The service is great, followed by some of the most delicious food you'll ever have. I'm big on saying," even if the food is delicious, if the service sucks, I'm never coming back. I've come back over and over again. You won't be disappointed. read more

Have been eating here for years , food was always exceptional.. but today on 3/07/26.. today was not great .. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken extra spicy and a side of egg rolls !! My chicken was dried large chunks of chicken not even extra spicy, my egg rolls burnt and greasy!! I am unsure if Silver Panda , hired a new cook , this was the worst food I have bought from this restaurant.. read more

Honestly, really nice place to eat. The food is good, but the customer service makes it better. Yall come and show support.

Been going here for many years. Picked up food last night. The beef lo main had hardly any meat, thinner noodles, and tasted completely different than it did a month ago. My husband couldn't finish his meal because it wasn't good. Don't know if ownership changed or what, but, it was so disappointing after having great food for 10 + years. read more

My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. It has the same quality and consistency that you would expect from a restaurant. It is very clean. The food is good. The paper wrapped chicken appetizer is amazing very flavorful. The vegetables added to the plates are very crisp and fresh and their meats are tender. Their sauces are unbeatable. This staff is amazing and it's hard to find good Chinese food in this area Silver Panda takes it away. Do yourself a favor come and enjoy Silver Panda on Mason and Devonshire. read more

The food is delicious. We ordered it mild. Next time we will order medium spice. It was too mild. We should have asked for spice on the table, our fault. The food was delicious. My fav is salt and pepper shrimp. The room is well decorated and very inviting. We will go again. read more

Taste: 5 Creativity/Authenticity: 5 Atmosphere: 3.5 Service: 5 Bang for your buck: 5 Ive been coming here since I was a kid, this is my go to spot when I'm craving real good Chinese food and I don't want to drive 30min out to Sam Woo lol! But this place is fire, making dishing that brings a guy to China, But who was born in America lol. Anyways service here is spot on, no stereotypical Chinese restaurant here, fast and precise, order was still steaming!! Overall always a great food here, should be gatekeeping this place but it's time. Enjoy and thank you read more

Really enjoy their hot and sour soup and chicken chow mein. Great portions and value for the price.

We love going to this place and ordering out. Best Chinese food and love the local family aspect of it as well. It's food made with love. The best orange chicken. Food is not good and expensive for what you get. Lunch special does not feel like I'm getting any sort of deal. Literally saw a cockroach scurrying around inside. Never coming back. read more

This was a bad meal for the most part. Chicken in black bean sauce was actually pretty good, but the Kung Pow Chicken was so bad it could not be eaten. Pu Pu plater was fairly flavorless with the paper wrapped chicken and fried wontons being the worst. Veggies and Tofu was bland, but that is expected. This was our first, and last, order from this restaurant read more

Terrine. Chow mein was all watered down mushy bean sprouts and little else. Bbq fried rice was just sauce over white rice. Burned orange chicken. Egg rolls and won ton tasteless. Won ton soup ok. Waste of $100. Had gone there for years for carry out. Never again read more

Great food and amazing customer service. Everyone was very nice and extremely informative.

I heard about Silver Panda and decided to order takeout. I ordered a combination plate that included Orange Chicken with fried rice and hot and sour soup and a pupu tray. The hot and sour soup was spicy and tasty. The orange chicken was crunchy and the pupu tray had egg rolls, won ton, tempura shrimp, and different meats. At the time I arrived since it was not during rush hour the ambiance seemed calm but there were several pickups. Overall the food did not disappoint. read more

Food was great. My friend & I ordered a Wonton Soup & a Crab Rangoon plate. The soup was delicious, very flavorful, very hearty, & vegetables taste so good. The Rangoons were warm to the touch & the crunchiness & the melting of the cream cheese tasted amazing. I recommend them definitely! The service was alright. The servers did keep asking if we wanted to order more or if we were sure that's all we wanted to eat. If anything it was over the top & for me it didn't sit too well with us cause it felt like we were being rushed or pressured to buy something else. Ambiance was quiet, not loud, very calm & easy to talk to whoever you're with. Very nice staff & will come back here to give it another chance ! Overall food was great! read more

My sister took me here last Friday I had been craving Chinese food for a while since before then. The service was excellent and waitstaff was very nice! The place is clean and on a friday night it was not a long wait. They provide hand sanitizers on the table which is a nice plus. The food and fortune cookie gave me a good feeling after having a horrible day and was a great way to end the meal. The walnut shrimp was very flavorful and not overly mayo-y. Seafood soup was nice and light, paired well with crispy wontons. The Mongolian beef was super tender and super delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again! read more
