I have enjoyed coming here for years. The service and food are great. They have generous portion sizes and nice people.

Great Japanese place in a strip mall. Nice ambiance, very clean and comfortable. Limited seating but wasn't a problem for me during lunch hour. I got their lunch special, chicken over rice and a salad, it was delicious! I didn't even use the hot sauce or teriyaki sauces they provided on the side, it was delicious as-is. They have fountain drinks (Coke, Sprite, Lemonade, Root Beer, Diet Coke, and unsweetened iced tea), and a selection of bottled drinks like Snapple. They have an extensive menu, I will have to come back and try more of it, everything from kabobs to tempura! Service was friendly and fast. There's a parking lot and street parking, but this strip mall is very busy so parking can be a challenge. read more

Teriyaki Plus - Menu as of July 2026 - Japanese Near Me - Chatsworth, California

SO good! Food is delicious. Customer service is really nice. Food is ready when said. I usually get combo #3 which is two chicken breast kebab skewers and instead of rice I ask for it over steamed vegetables and double salad on the side in a separate container (really like the dressing too). Extra dressing, spicy sauce, and teriyaki sauce on the side. Steamed veggies are extra cost and I'm ok w that. Every time I eat here I am very happy! It's a healthier option and I love that. read more

My Boss & I eat here every week and every time their food comes out HOT & DELICIOUS! Everything is made to order and the portions of their meals are very generous! You really feel you get your money's worth and the owner and staff are really nice! For a change, I decided to try the Beef Teriyaki Bowl & the House Special C and both were very tasty! The Lunch Special with just Chicken, Rice & Salad is my favorite tho! I usually ask for the Salad Dressing on the side because if you don't, the dressing gets on the chicken, I like to keep them separate. Don't forget to ask for Teriyaki Sauce & Hot Sauce! The place is the best! read more

I decided to switch it up for lunch today and try something new and I'm so glad I did! You could smell the delicious grilled teriyaki from the parking lot, which already had me excited. We ordered the classic #6 plate with chicken, shrimp, and beef because we wanted a little bit of everything. Absolutely no notes, everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The flavors were on point and each protein was tender and juicy. The tempura on the side was such a great addition, especially the onion ring (my favorite!). I also appreciated the simple salad to balance everything out. You've got to have your greens! Overall, this plate definitely gave me that "wow" factor. I'll definitely be back! read more

A delicious local spot for a filling lunch! They advertised a lunch special for $11.95 M-F til 3pm (not including tax) which comes with white meat chicken, salad, and rice. The chicken was hot and freshly grilled, and was tender to chew! The sauce was interesting: coconut-like and creamy. They also gave small sides of teriyaki sauce on the side! The salad was crunchy and most similar to coleslaw, but warm. I enjoyed it and was satisfied with this plate for two meals! Owner was sweet and friendly. They also do takeout orders and have a good system going. Few tables inside but clean, and well-ventilated with AC. Would love to try out more items in the future! Parking lot shared with other businesses in the plaza. *No bathrooms read more

Very solid chicken teriyaki plate. I got it as lunch special for $13 and it was definitely worth it. The chicken was pretty juicy with a bit of a smoky flavor and the flavor of their spicy sauce, which I specifically requested on the chicken. Chicken came on the bed of delicious rice, with a side of salad mixed with their awesome white dressing. The place itself is pretty simple, clean, with good customer service from the young lady who was working there. Will definitely come back again to try some of their other stuff! read more

Teriyaki Plus serves up an amazing meal. We visited again after a few years and it is just as delicious as we remember! We got the #4, 2 beef skewers, rice, salad, 4 pieces of fried wontons/veg, and teriyaki sauce. If you are in the area this is a must visit! I suggest to go as the place is small (4 tables and a to go table) and most tables are 2 seaters. Order at the counter and our 2 items came up in about 10 minutes! Yum!! read more

A nice spot for a clean quick lunch Quality chicken teriyaki plate with fresh salad and grilled chicken that had a nice char to it. The teriyaki sauce that was on top of the chicken was not too sweet and overpowering. I like the addition of the onion ring and potsticker on the side, bringing a touch of variety to the rest of the meal. The restaurant was small but clean and organized with more than enough places to accommodate a quick lunch rush. The friendly customer service was the cherry on top creating a nice overall meal experience that definitely makes me want to return. read more

Teriyaki Plus - Chicken breast skewers on a bed of rice with a side salad and two wontons and an onion ring - Japanese Near Me - Chatsworth, California

This place is delicious. The food is always fresh and made to order. My favorite are the chicken breast skewers. They do tend to be on the dryer side. However I like my chicken little dry so it works for me! Their tempura veggies are also really good. Oh and you can't miss out on their sauces. The hot sauce and teriyaki sauce are made there. I could drink gallons of it There is minimal parking in the small lot. But I usually don't have an issue getting a spot. read more

Found my new favorite local teriyaki chicken spot, and the pricing is very reasonable too. Was driving down topanga canyon after leaving the mall and was craving some new teriyaki chicken, found this place on Yelp. I ordered the special c which came with teriyaki chicken, chicken katsu, also came with a salad and gyoza on the side. It's a nice small local restaurant that can sit probably 5-10 people inside. The person taking my order was nice and helpful, overall can't complain about the service. Overall very good, I will definitely be stopping by again. However, they limit the number of sauces you can get unless you want to pay extra for it read more

The food is best if ever had teriyaki wise I absolutely recommend definitely a must ! Chicken and shrimp kabobs my favorite

Put this food on a fancy plate and you have yourself a $40 meal, easy. The shrimp and beef was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Not too much seasoning so you can appreciate the quality of meat but certainly not bland or tastes plain. I wish I would have found this place on the first day of my work trip, not the last day. Don't be afraid of the hot sauce. When I was told there was a container of hot sauce and teriyaki, I was about to request two teriyaki and hold the hot sauce but I am so glad I didn't. It was NOT overly spicy, but was packed with flavor that had a little kick. read more

This place has been around for many decades for a reason. It consistently serves delicious and fresh combination plates. The beef and shrimp skewers over a bed of steamed rice has been my go to. It includes a side salad with a creamy dressing and fresh tempura. The teriyaki sauce is really good, but their hot sauce is what I consider their special touch with the food. Whether I phone in my order for pick up or eat there, it's always wonderful service (there's no table service). It's located next door to Starbucks so lots of foot traffic in the parking lot and lots of in and outs between both places. read more

Short Ribs are delicious! Do yourself a favor and order Special B. It comes with Grilled Teriyaki Chicken with Beef Short Ribs, sides of rice and salad plus teriyaki sauce and chili sauce. The short ribs and chicken were not only delicious they were nice and hot! You can tell they came right off the grill! Portion size is big for the price. For appetizer, ordered chicken egg rolls (qty: 3) comes with sweet and sour dipping sauce. Egg rolls were hot and crispy. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. He offered to clean the table before we sat down. I liked and appreciated that. The restaurant is very clean and has a small dining area. read more

I was hoping to like this place, but sadly I do not. First off, the chicken and short ribs was not cut up like other places. The chicken was served in big pieces where you have to cut them up yourself. Even Waba Grill cut up your chicken and short ribs. They don't even give you green onions or sesame seeds. The chicken could have better taste to it, but the one big knock is the teriyaki sauce. It's was too salty. Not great at all. I prefer Bowl & Burger in Canoga Park on Saticoy. Their sauce is so much better and has become my favorite to go when I am craving teriyaki chicken. read more

After coming here for over 5+ years. I will not be coming back to this local Teriyaki spot. What use to be my favorite Teriyaki spot is unfortunately not anymore. I recently placed an order for my family and I. The prices were over the top and to make it worst the food quality went down. The chicken didn't taste like chicken. The serving of the rice was pretty much nothing. It was not good. Too expensive and distasteful food. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. This place is like a fusion of Japanese food and kabobs skewers. They have a good variety of dishes to choose from. From chicken and beef skewers to tempura, from pot stickers to teriyaki. I ended up getting the shrimp and teriyaki beef plate. The shrimp was delicious full of flavor. The teriyaki beef was sweet and savory. They even added a tempura onion ring and a something crispy for texture. I need to be completely honest and tell the truth. I have always liked this place time and time again. I didn't think my food was 10/10 last week and it was more like 8/10. Today I came back 3 days later and guess what. My food was amazing!!! Keith the owner reached out to me based upon my review and he made things right with me. My daughter takes a class next door to Teriyaki Plus, so I felt I had an obligation to try it. haha The inside is very welcoming and spacious, for a being in a crowded plaza on Topanga blvd. Everything looked clean, and nice + Gabriella behind the counter couldn't have been nicer. My order: Beef short rib - side. And a #7, which was Teriyaki Chicken and Shrimp Kabob plate. Also included was a side salad, onion ring, and a crunchy piece of something that was very tasty. To be honest, everything was alright. Not bad by a long shot, and not great either. I liked the chicken more than the shrimp. The shrimp was a bit too fishy for me. I know that sounds weird, but how can I explain that last comment. I've eaten a lot of shrimp of late, and these just tasted a little off to me -- like they just came out of the ocean. No, I didn't get sick or anything, nothing like that. Just tasted off to me. The Chicken was good. Yes, just good. Short rib though was great! Packed with flavor, and supremely juicy. The sides were also really good. I don't eat a lot of onion rings, so I passed on that. The salad though, was delicious. It wasn't overly dressed, so every bite tasted the same. Really nice touch. The other piece of something, was crunchy and yummy. Sorry, I don't wanna guess what it was. All in all things were fine. However, I don't think you can make a true decision about an establishment after one time. So, I'll wait a bit, and go back. Hope I'll still be a able to get my lemonade though -- :) read more

I came to this place multiple times before and then stop coming for a while. Today, I drove by and remembered this place, turned around and ordered for to go. Beef kebab : tender, juicy and soft. This is the best one out of the three items that I ordered. Spicy chicken teriyaki : chicken taste okay. Not bad and not special too. The marinated chicken grilled and kind of like dabbed or poured spicy sauce on top. Doesn't look appealing but tasted okay. A little on a rubbery and dry Chicken katsu : I ate some pieces and now I'm confused as what am I gonna do with the rest? The outer crunchy stuff is good but the chicken is like out of the sea!! Unbelievably SALTY! Eat with rice.. Nope, the chicken is tough and like I said, bring a new meaning of chicken from the sea. Super salty. Maybe it was not a good day? I better stick with my corner place. read more
