A delicious local spot for a filling lunch! They advertised a lunch special for $11.95 M-F til 3pm (not including tax) which comes with white meat chicken, salad, and rice. The chicken was hot and freshly grilled, and was tender to chew! The sauce was interesting: coconut-like and creamy. They also gave small sides of teriyaki sauce on the side! The salad was crunchy and most similar to coleslaw, but warm. I enjoyed it and was satisfied with this plate for two meals! Owner was sweet and friendly. They also do takeout orders and have a good system going. Few tables inside but clean, and well-ventilated with AC. Would love to try out more items in the future! Parking lot shared with other businesses in the plaza. *No bathrooms

Lovely small restaurant on lassen and Topanga that has short ribs, teriyaki chicken, katsu plates. Also have sides like tempura, pot stickers, egg rolls. Lots of options to do meals. I got the #2 which is beef short ribs. Delicious.

Loved this little spot off of Topanga canyon rd! Fast, friendly service, great choices for meals and prices a bit below what I expected!!! And the food was great! If you're looking for a solid bet on food, check them out. Nest, clean facilities and terrific choices for meals

In a world where burgers are the norm go for something different. Food was good especially on a rainy day (2/17) cooked to temp. Service was astounding. Music playing in background while you wait for meal.

Very solid chicken teriyaki plate. I got it as lunch special for $13 and it was definitely worth it. The chicken was pretty juicy with a bit of a smoky flavor and the flavor of their spicy sauce, which I specifically requested on the chicken. Chicken came on the bed of delicious rice, with a side of salad mixed with their awesome white dressing. The place itself is pretty simple, clean, with good customer service from the young lady who was working there. Will definitely come back again to try some of their other stuff!

Really great food here everytime. Been coming here for over 7 years and the quality and taste are always consistently great. Portions are very generous and food always hits the spot. Their plan noodle side order is one of the best chow mein in the valley. Can't recommend this place enough!

I ordered three things. Miso soup, the #18. Beef Teriyaki Bowl & House Special Chicken Potstickers (6 PC).plain bowl

I ordered three things. Miso soup, the #18. Beef Teriyaki Bowl & House Special Chicken Potstickers (6 PC). I asked for the bowl pretty plain but it usually comes with bean sprouts, carrots, &salad over rice.

Teriyaki Plus serves up an amazing meal. We visited again after a few years and it is just as delicious as we remember! We got the #4, 2 beef skewers, rice, salad, 4 pieces of fried wontons/veg, and teriyaki sauce. If you are in the area this is a must visit! I suggest to go as the place is small (4 tables and a to go table) and most tables are 2 seaters. Order at the counter and our 2 items came up in about 10 minutes! Yum!!

Have been coming here for the last 30+ years. Service and the quality of food is top notch. I tend to get the #3 with is the 2 breast chicken skewer meal with rice, salad, and a couple of wontons. I highly recommend this place.

Found my new favorite local teriyaki chicken spot, and the pricing is very reasonable too. Was driving down topanga canyon after leaving the mall and was craving some new teriyaki chicken, found this place on Yelp. I ordered the special c which came with teriyaki chicken, chicken katsu, also came with a salad and gyoza on the side. It's a nice small local restaurant that can sit probably 5-10 people inside. The person taking my order was nice and helpful, overall can't complain about the service. Overall very good, I will definitely be stopping by again. However, they limit the number of sauces you can get unless you want to pay extra for it

#21 I believe. Shrimp and beef combo plus an eggroll

Unfortunately, while the food was prepared traditionally, the overall execution was just average. The salad was heavily dressed, which overpowered the fresh ingredients. The aji nigiri lacked the delicate flavor and freshness I usually expect from quality Japanese sushi. The tempura was also disappointing, as it wasn't light and crispy the way authentic Japanese restaurants typically serve it. Most of the dishes were simply okay, and the steak was noticeably tough and difficult to chew. What stood out most was the service. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. Their excellent hospitality made the dining experience more enjoyable despite the food falling short of expectations. Overall, this is a restaurant with authentic Japanese roots and outstanding service, but the food itself was average and did not quite deliver the refined flavors and textures I was hoping for.

What I received instead was popcorn chicken, which was unexpected and not at all what I had in mind. There was no communication that this would be the substitute, which made it even more frustrating. On top of that, I was still charged for it without any clarification beforehand. Transparency goes a long way, especially when making substitutions. It depends what you are in the mood for, and if you are not picky, you will find it, or something close to it, at this place. I come here to eat the basics, fresh fish, preferably sashimi style. Generally always start with their miso soup. Here it is priced at $2, is served piping hot (just the way I like it), has high quality and hits all the right notes to satisfy the nose and palate. For me, this sets the tone for lunch or dinner. This time it was the latter and I was in the mood for sashimi (of course), but also for a salad. So I selected a hybrid, the Sashimi Salad (3 pcs tuna, 2 pcs each of salmon, yellowtail, albacore, and 1 pce shrimp on top of mixed greens with soy mustard dressing). While the fish cuts were small, they were soft, had texture and hugged the tongue well while eating. I asked for the dressing on the side. For me this is important, because eateries tend to soak salads in dressing and mask the real taste and diversity of the dish. Ginger (not over pickled) and wasabi is complementary and I went through two portions of Ginger fast, and requested more. For the third time, they brought it in a small packed crucible. LOL. They made me real happy. Another wonderful visit to have sashimi at Tomodachi, in Porter Ranch.

After looking into it, I learned that these decorative flowers are typically not meant to be eaten and may even contain chemicals. No restaurant staff member should ever tell someone else's child that it's okay to eat something from the table without checking with the parent first. That is completely inappropriate and unacceptable. Overall, this was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience.
