TLDR: was just okay. Ordered a large beef and shrimp. Few shrimp pieces compared to the amount of beef given. Big portion that's definitely filling, but not satisfying. The beef was really tough and chewy and lacked any kind of flavor and seasoning. Shrimp was cooked well, but again no seasoning. Soy sauce and hot sauce packets help a bit, but otherwise not something I'd order again. Parking is tough but doable. Staff is really nice and the restaurant is clean. read more

I give this place 4/ 5. One man hardworking show it seems. Hospitality was good. He took my order and cooked it. Beef and chicken combo was cooked well and good portion also. The seasoning he put was good combination. Not salty or bland. I was impressed. 5/5. Inside does not have a lot of tables although they a lot of room. They just need to organize it better. A hidden gem in the valley! I've been going to this place for years and it never disappoints. The owner is the very nice and cooks up the best teriyaki bowls! My girlfriend told me about Hungry Ninja in Chatsworth so we decided to check it out on Labor Day weekend. The outside of the retail strip mall is not the most appealing, and the inside of this restaurant is very simplistic and minimalistic. You are greeted right away by the super friendly older Asian gentleman who welcomes you in with his infectious smile. A fairly straightforward menu of various bowls, plates and hot dogs, on this particular visit I was improved to go with a Regular-sized Chicken and Shrimp plate which came fully loaded on a bed of rice, with vegetables and a super delicious teriyaki sauce. This gentleman prepares your order right in front of you on a teppanyaki grill and you are hot with some tasty aromas of freshly prepared items. A few minutes later, my Regular #2 plate was prepared and presented to me. I must say, the portion size was quite large and delicious. For under $15, you can get some high quality ingredients made fresh. I liked the flavors and the friendly factor of the owner, which basically made up the bulk of my rating. There are no public restrooms for customers. I recently checked out Hungry Ninja on a whim. The place is located inside of a small business center, so it's easy to miss. Hungry Ninja is one of those places for when, you don't know what you're in the mood for, but you want something tasty. This is the place. I ordered the Teriyaki Bowl and some Korean friend chicken. The older gentleman was great and very professional. Food portions are BIG! I barely finished my regular sized plate. They also have a larger plate. First time here and I can't believe it took me so long to come check this out. This was in the same plaza as my vet the whole time. I mean the name itself is awesome. How can you not be drawn in from that? I got a large chicken and a large beef and pineapple. I like pineapples on my pizza so I will definitely like it with my beef teriyaki. First thing I noticed was that the to go boxes were heavy. It was packed. The portion sizes here lives up to the name Hungry Ninja. A large order can definitely feed 2 and some lil kids. The prices seem high but the portion size makes up for it so it's a great value. Both orders were delicious. Added some Sriracha sauce to give it a lil kick. As others have mentioned it takes about 5 mins to cook. Next time, I'm gonna try some Korean fried chicken and my kids will definitely go for the Korean hot dogs. I will definitely be back a lot! I've had Hungry Ninja bookmarked on Yelp for the longest time - so long in fact that they apparently changed owners at some point! Looking at the reviews, it looks like this has been reflected since at least December 2023 so disregard the previous bad reviews. I happened to be in the area and showed up right when they opened (open Mon-Sat from 11AM-8PM, closed Sundays). I was greeted by the sole employee (most likely new owner), who was all smiles and very kind. Looking over their menu, I decided to get a regular #3 Pineapple Chicken which comes with veggies and rice. It took about 5 minutes for him to make the meal and boy it's a meal alright! It definitely lives up to the name - come here when you're hungry and it'll hit the spot! Everything tasted great! It looks like most people get their meal to-go, but there are 7-8 tables inside if you want to stick around and enjoy your meal when it's fresh. There's a stand to the right of the order counter where you can serve yourself sauces, napkins and utensils. Know beforehand that there's no restroom inside, but that's not a deal-breaker for me personally. If you're in the mood for some good eats, give Hungry Ninja a try! The wait wasn't long at all, 5 minutes & he brought the food out to us & offered a plate since we were sharing. The food was fresh, perfectly cooked to our liking, & the rice was delicious. The sauce he added was also so good & didn't taste generic. The veggies were steamed well & paired everything well together. I put sriracha on my food because I like it with some spice. Been my favorite place to go to when I'm in the area. Used to work in chatsworth and I'd eat here twice a day sometimes. Nothing crazy fancy about it, but honestly very tasty and portions are huge! The owner is always manning the grill and the food is consistently good. The dining area can get pretty hot sometimes especially during the summer but is very spacious.
