I loved the food here when they were still named Phoxpress. Now that they have been bought out by Pho Rex the food isn't as good. The service was average, our food came out 10-15 mins after we placed our order. Interior is the exact same as it was before Pho Rex bought them out.We ordered the seafood pho, spring rolls and pad Thai plate. The spring rolls were made with cheap, poor quality shrimp and iceberg shredded lettuce. The shrimp wasn't fresh, it actually had a little fishy smell and taste. The pad Thai was not good at all, but the seafood pho was indeed decent. Their prices are expensive for the low quality food and size. I sadly will not return. read more

PSA! Waste of money! How this place gets 4-stars is beyond me. Poor food quality, taste, and shrinkflation to the max! Inflation is making things tough, I get it. My family has been eating out a lot less than we used to. So once in a while when I have a little extra money, I would treat my family to some take-out. I may have to pay a little more, but for a rare treat, it's fine... so long as I get quality. But you won't get that here. We ordered House Special Fried Rice, what looked super delicious in the photo turned out to be worse than Panda Express. Pictures showed sausages, but our order? No sausage. Then we got BBQ Ribs Rice Plate, and the beef was tougher than Slim Jim. Grill Pork Paste Spring Rolls looked great, but when you bit into it, the meat was thinner than the Bologna my grandma used to put in her sandwiches. Not even vermicelli noodles as filler, just a wad of lettuce! Just appalling! I wasted $100 on food and was less satisfied than going to Taco Bell, should have stayed home and made Top Ramen. Everyone, please save a little more money for gas, then drive to Westminster, Rowland Heights, or even Chino to get way better Vietnamese food than this place. Don't get ripped off. I was reluctant to eat at this restaurant because of the many negative Yelp reviews, but since there are not many Pho restaurants in Corona to choose from, my wife said to give it a try. We were both pleasantly surprised. The Pho was tasty and it came within 5 minutes of ordering, even though the place was full (which is a telltale sign of a good restaurant, especially if you see Asian customers). Another bonus was the prices were very reasonable. We paid $12.75 each for a bowl of Pho with steak and brisket, and the portion size were on par with other Pho places. The only potential downside was the broth is on the sweet side which is not uncommon in South Vietnam cuisine, so if you don't like your broth a touch sweet, this is not the place for you. That didn't bother us, so I'm giving this place 5 stars. read more

Seriously. This is the best Pho I have had in such a long time! The flavor of the broth has you sipping for every last drop. The meat quality it's top tier and has a wide verity of combinations. The people are so nice and our food always comes out quick. It's a small little place easy to miss but man those are always the best places to have a meal. Cold rainy night, noodles are in order! Pho to be exact. We got here at a little before 6, cold and raining. You'd think the crowds would be here but no. My daughter hasn't had pho yet so I played it safe with the chicken noodle, I had the rare steak pho. They had it out quicker than the appetizer, egg rolls. The dining area is clean with 3 large tables for 6+ and a few booths. We enjoyed the noodles and egg rolls, hit the spot! This is not my first visit here and won't be the last. There are a lot of pho spots in the area and I usually get around to trying them all but this is the restaurant I always come back to. Their House Special Pho is amazing, their seafood pho is amazing; a year ago I switched to a vegan diet and their veggie pho is easily the best in the city. All of their rolls are super delicious: the egg rolls are always super crispy, the spring rolls whether with tofu, shrimp or pork are always fresh and mouthwatering. The shaking beef is super delicious and after I got my brothers to try it they got addicted to it lol. Their fried rices are all very tasty, even one time when it was slightly over done it was still extremely flavorful. I haven't tried everything on the menu but I don't doubt that everything absolutely delicious. I love this place and always leave a tip even when I'm broke because times are tough and this is a place I want to support. read more

To be honest, I was a bit hesitant about dining here for lunch today, March 11, 2021 because from the outside and even inside, it didn't seem like it would be good. Pho Xpress was 1) highly recommended by a friend and 2) it's one of the few restaurants in Corona, CA that is actually open indoors (most restaurants in the area are only offering take out, delivery or outside dining due to COVID), so we opted to have lunch here. They do have one table outside. We actually ended up eating outside LOL. Pho Xpress is located in the Lincoln Avenue and 6th Street Shopping Plaza in Corona. There's limited parking in the plaza. We ordered 2 orders of spring rolls, pho ga and chicken + broccoli. * Spring Rolls 4/5 - these were really good but the peanut sauce was a little watery. * Pho Ga 5/5 - regular size bowl had decent amount of chicken. Surprisingly, the soup base was really delicious and flavorful. This was perfect since it was a little chilly. * Chicken and broccoli 5/5 - perfectly flavored and gluten free The menu here is actually pretty extensive. They have everything from Pho to spring rolls, sandwich w/beef stew, pan-fried rice noodles, vermicelli, fusion stir-fried noodle, rice pot dishes, crab Rangoon, green salad, homemade soy milk, tofu vermicelli, mixed vegetables, sizzling basil black bean sauce, spiced bean curd, mango chicken, garlic chicken, smoothies and sandwiches. The service here is professional, fast, attentive and friendly. The food comes out pretty fast, so they live up to their name ;) lol Overall, I had a good experience. The PHO noodles were very undercooked and the chicken wings were undercooked greasy and mushy. I got my food to go because I am NOT a fan of their service. Food - 3.5/5 The pho broth is nice because it is made without pork. But I think I got a regular portion? For $15 I was thinking the portion would be larger .. the brisket I got was thinly sliced and little qty given. Value - 2.5/5 Not a fan. If service was better then it would cover the shortcomings in qty but it's not. And vice versa. I gave this another try because I did go once a year or so before and there was a VERY nice older man here. He was very sweet to my family and I and the service was much better under him. Even the kitchen chef came out to give me the food and she was smiling and nice. That was refreshing. This place will satisfy your Pho craving and that's it.
