I would've given a higher score but the one thing they should do is wear gloves when handling the food. I thought it was just really gross that they didn't wear gloves while they scoop all the different things of food with their bare hands. If they had that I would've given a higher star. The food is actually really good and flavorful, fish was fresh, some choices included albacore, tuna and salmon, and they didn't skimp out on the toppings. I like the variety of toppings including seaweed and tamago, and then the variety of sauces we really liked were the house sauce and the sesame one. A lot of the sauces looked and tasted so good. Even the toppings for the ending like hot Cheetos, crispy garlic, crispy onion etc. Again please wear gloves when handling food; everyone was really nice and kind but again cleanliness is a big thing, I do hope all of you wash your hands but we don't know that. AMAZING!! We stopped by during our visit and ended up coming back again because it was that good. The first time, we ordered the House Poki Bowl and the Rainbow Bowl. We also tried two onigiri--one Spicy Tuna and one Salmon--and mixed eel sauce with spicy mayo (highly recommend!) plus the sweet ginger sauce on the side. The second time, we got four onigiri and tried the Spicy Crab, which did not disappoint. Every bite was incredibly delicious and bursting with flavor. The fish tasted so fresh that it didn't even require any sauce--but when you add the sauces, they just enhance the natural taste without overpowering it. We've been to other poke spots where they try to mask bland fish with too much sauce, but this place gets it just right. Honestly, everything we tried was divine. I love poke and I'm really critical of where I go because bad poke doesn't end at the bowl. I always do my research ahead of time and inspect the fish before I order. Poke Cafe was recommended to me as one of the best poke spots in Corona. I was told it's good, but watch out for the extra charges. Let me start with what I loved. I loved my bowl. The salmon was delicious and great quality. I ordered a large bowl which came with 3 scoops. Scoops were decently sized. I ordered sesame oil, soy sauce, and spicy mayo. They have ALOT of sauce options that looked good and I plan on branching out on my next visit. They also have some cool toppings I've never seen at a poke place (tempura crunch, crispy garlic chips to name a few). Overall all the fish looked yummy--I'll try more next time. The people there were friendly, and it was easy to order my bowl. As for why this review is 4 stars instead of 5, it's due to their pricing, ambience, and parking. Parking close by may be difficult, but that's kind of the nature of things at Dos Lagos. As for ambience, this is not a poke spot that you will want to eat at. It's tiny and it seems they are expecting everyone to get food to go. Pricing, my large bowl came out to just under $18. That's slight above par for large bowl prices lately but I didn't get everything I usually get because of extra charges. I was surprised that the large bowl doesn't come with more protein, but it honestly was enough. They limit your sides to 4 for a large bowl (i.e crab salad, seaweed salad, edamame, cucumber). I definitely would have been happier with more cucumber and seaweed salad. I also thought it was weird that masago was $1 extra (I didn't get any). Luckily, they are generous with the sauces and toppings. Overall, I will be back to Poke Cafe to order outside my usual order. This place requires some strategic thinking with how you order, but it will be delicious! So far, this is the best poke I've had in Corona (I've been to 2 others in Corona). read more

I visited this poke shop yesterday for a boba drink. I noticed this male employee, same one I saw last time I came here, responding passively aggressive to his coworkers. It was very busy in there and I understand it can get stressful but still never an excuse to treat your coworkers in that manner. I've worked in food before and working with people who don't know how to regulate their emotions is the absolute worst. To put into context, this is the same guy I saw last time I came here and I could hear him cussing and screaming in the back. He sounded extremely mad and upset, extremely unprofessional to behave that way in a work environment. The young lady who was helping me that day looked a little concerned but she kept her composure and helped me finish my order. Overall, this is a great place but I can't look past this staff behavior especially now that I've seen it happen on two separate occasions. My husband was pleasantly surprised by the amount of flavor in his rainbow bowl. I got the house bowl, but found it a little underwhelming in terms of flavor and side ingredients. My bad... The bowls are good, but you can also get poke nachos, poke burritos, or musubi, or hand rolls. The portions are about the same as other poke joints. And you have to pay more for things that usually are free, like some masago, or a to-go side of sauce, or unlimited veggie toppings. But it is really good quality poke. Service - efficient and nice. Customer service was fair and speedy. There was a small line for lunch and it went rather quickly. Ambiance - adorable, clean little eatery. There are about three tables on the inside, a few picnic style benches outside. Located in Dos Lagos so it's a beautiful place to go shopping or walk around the duck pond. Very good poke spot. I like the ordering system here. They have you use a dry erase marker and a checklist style menu. Makes it easy for our family of 5 to order without feeling rushed.
