A bowl of hot pho is the best thing to eat on a blisteringly cold, snowy evening. It's filling and satisfying in a way that no other dish can be. Pho Quinn's rare beef, tripe and tendon soup with vermicelli noodles is exactly that. I had one slurp of the broth and I knew I needed nothing else. They seat you immediately and take your order minutes after. Your food doesn't take too long to come out after. They offer copious amounts of bean sprouts and Thai basil - use them. They enhance the pho flavors. There's a roving robot as well as a kiosk stand outside from where you can place your to-go order - both of which add a cool modern vibe to an otherwise traditional Vietnamese restaurant. It's nice to see the intersection of tech and generations-old recipes from the old country. I'm so glad my relatives brought me to Pho Quinn. I'd happily walk there in the snow because that bowl of delicious, delicately flavored pho is so worth it.

Came here for the first time to have lunch with a friend. I came on a Wednesday at 12pm, the restaurant wasn't busy there was a lot of empty seating. I got a tablet and waited for my friend to arrive. My friend came shortly and we were chatting for a bit before deciding what to order. The woman that worked there interrupted our conversation and said "let me know when you're ready to place the order", we said okay. We were chatting and slowly eating at the same time. As soon as we putted down our chopsticks to take a break, the woman assumed we were done eating and wanted to come take the bowls away. When we were done eating, we were chatting and sipping on our drinks. The woman came up and said "I'll get you the bill now". We felt completely rushed! I've never encountered such worse service before at a restaurant. I can understand if there was a wait for tables then yes we quickly finish our food and get out but not when the restaurant was more than half empty. The food was just mediocre, prices are around the same compared to other places. I ordered a small rare beef & beef balls noodle soup and a thai tea. I wouldn't recommend coming here at all unless you're okay with finishing your food and drinks in 20 minutes or so.

It's been a while since we have come to Pho Quinn. The staffing quality seems to have improved over the past while and are much friendlier. The food quality and prices are very decent compared to other pho locations in Markham. The restaurant was buzzing on a Sunday night when we came to pick up our take out. Place is as cosy as we remembered it. The portion to price is great as you can (hopefully) tell from the photos. Also, the quality of the food will definitely have us adding this location back to our go-to list!

Great place in Markham for Pho Good service, server also speaks Cantonese Clean seats and tables, spoons and chopsticks served inside a hot boil water Pho portion is good, meat and noodles, soup not too hot should be a bit hotter.

B12 - Brisket, Beef Tendon, Tripe & Beef Balls Rice Noodle Soup B12 - very average is size and not satisfying!

There are so many pho places in Toronto and good broth is always the soul for good pho. This restaurant obviously does not fare as well as its counterparts. Food presentation is nice but portion size is average. I seldom saw pho come with so little bean sprouts and I had to ask for more, their signature beef pho came with a bland and mildly hot broth which was a disappointment, soup noodles should be served hot at the very least! The mango salad was served with a layer of lettuce as base with sweet sour sauce, again no surprise at all. The vermicelli was the only dish that scored well. With that many food choices along Highway 7, I probably won't visit this restaurant again, I won't mind to drive a bit more for better quality Vietnamese cuisine.

Thanks Pho Quinn for satisfying my Vietnamese food's craving during the pandemic! Now they even have a new updated website which I can paid by my credit card online when I placed my order. Food here has been consistently excellent! Extra care in packing all their takeouts. For dine in during red zone restrictions, the restaurant is spacious enough for proper social distancing. Thanks for all the hard work!

We just so happen to be in the Markham area and looking for some Pho. We tried Pho Quinn from a recommendation and while it was decent, I didn't think it quite compared to some of our Vietnamese restaurants in Scarborough. I ordered the Chef's Special Beef Rice Noodle Soup (Rare Beef, Brisket, Beef Tendon, Tripe & Beef Balls; $10, item #B01) in an extra large size. The portion size of both the noodles and toppings seemed a bit small, and the taste was average. Note, the hoisin takeout sauce is mixed with sriracha sauce. Perhaps dining in would make a world of a difference.

Just What I Needed !!! One recent afternoon I found myself long overdue for a meal after running around doing errands and shopping all afternoon. I was not up to the daunting task of going home and cooking. I was in Markham around McCowan Road and Highway 7 and I was getting hungry. I mentally checked off all the things I wasn't in the mood for like Burgers, Pizza, Osmo's, Congee Queen, Peruvian Chicken, Greek Sushi etc, etc. I wanted something quick and delicious. I recalled that I hadn't been to Pho Quinn since the pandemic started and was curious if the food was the same quality. Off I went to order some take-out. When I got there a few people had just left so the place for about 20 minutes was quiet. Their friendly staff took my order and I waited about 20 minutes, as I watched Uber Eats and other services coming to pick up food orders. For this meal, I ordered the classic Fresh Rolls with (Shrimps & Pork) (2 rolls) filled with Shrimp, pork, vegetables & vermicelli rolled in rice paper wrap. I also ordered another Pho Quinn Classic, Grilled Pork, Spring Rolls, Shredded Pork & Shredded Pork Skin with Vermicelli. Yummmmmm!!!! A quick and easy, mid-range meal, full of flavour and made fresh while I was waiting. I can't wait to come back here again, to eat inside the restaurant with friends.

Located in small strip mall type setting. Nicely decorated with individual booths. Offered the beef pho, soup was very hot and full flavored, you can smell and taste the cinnamon used in the broth. Noodles were firm, recommend asking for fresh chili peppers and fish sauce for additional flavors Not bad, would come back again

Steamed Vermicelli with Grilled Pork & Pork Sausage

Enjoyed my lunch date. It was busier than I expected. It was the Markham location that I visited. I had the Steamed Vermicelli with Grilled Pork & Pork Sausage with a Vietnamese coffee with condense milk. I enjoyed my meal. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Would come back in the future when I'm in the area again. There is parking available; it's in a plaza but it can get pretty busy so parking is depending on the time of day.

Has been a few years since my last visit. The restaurant supplies us with a large mug to clean/rinse our utensils in, which I appreciate. They also will provide pencil and paper for you to jot down your order. [ E03 rice with 4 flavours ] - The dish comes with Grilled Pork Chop, Baked Egg, Shrimp Bean Curd, Shredded Pork & Shredded Pork Skin. The dish felt downsized and the shrimp bean curd was a bit thin causing it to be tough to eat. The amount of fish sauce given is not sufficient and definitely taken away from the experience when having to stop and ask for more fish sauce. [ Fried spring rolls ] - Pretty good spring rolls, I like this style of wrap that has a nice crust.

Ordered b09 - brisket and beef balls Liked how the brisket was lean and the beef balls weren't cut in half. Didn't feel lethargic after eating. Clean and spacious restaurant!

Why is this place rated so low? Pho Quinn has been my favourite Viet spot for a few years now, and I come from a Chinese-Viet background. It's one of the only places in markham that makes dishes other than pho well. I'm not the biggest pho fan (although many of my friends love the pho here too!), so coming here, I have lots of selection. My favourites have to be the Bun Rieu, Bun Bo Hue, Fook Kien Noodle soup, and the vermicelli. Basically everything tastes good! I think the prices are quite reasonable and it is easy to find a seat here unless you come during lunch on Saturday/Sunday, but the wait time isnt too long either. I highly recommend this place for Viet food!

Ordered a large house special pho (pho here is $18 for small and $21 for a large). A bit on the pricier side, but you get quite a bit in the bowl. I did see another table that had the pork bones and wow you get a lot of soft tasty meat. I am getting that next time (only available I think until 2pm, but it looked good. The noodles had a good bounce which I liked and the broth, although a little bit weak was very clean and had a good taste. You get lots of meat so the ratio is very good. I also got a pork and pate banh mi. This was nicely toasted and again you get a ton of meat ($8.99). All in all without drinks lunch cost me about $35 + tip, but these days everything is expensive. I would go again as the food is good. Will definitely try the pork bones with all that meat next time.

So healing after a day of playing sports outside. The bun bo hue is not too spicy. Both have lots of meat. They also offer a lot of the fancier noodle soup dishes as other restaurants. Everything on the menu is delicious, but definitely try the Vietnamese coffee and tri-colour drink!

La Sen has a beautiful interior and decent amount of seating for its smallish space. Service was good - things came quickly and they seem to have quite a few unique items on the menu. Beef salad - really refreshing and flavorful salad. Had a bit of spicy kick on the beef which was really nice with the other fresh vegetables. Wine braised pho hotpot - I really enjoyed this hotpot - even more so than their typical pho. You can get unlimited soup refills too which is great. Broth is light yet flavorful. Pho - decided to try their "regular " pho which has a bit more herbal notes than their hotpot. It's not bad but I could see some of the herbal/spice undertones being off putting to some. Stret style platter - lots of good, great variety, very fresh. Loved this dish - getting to make your own customized roll is worth it. Durian crema coffee - an interesting that I've never seen. It's line a typical coffe but a large and thick layer of durian foam layer on top of the coffee. Price: A bit higher than other pho places but well worth trying

When we were there the garage gate didn't accept our ticket (broken) so you can just go out from an open gate. It wasn't busy on a Sunday night and they also have weekend specials. So perhaps they catered to mostly a weekday lunch crowd. We had a ton of questions about the menu like what's "young eggs" apparently not quail eggs but young chicken eggs that you can add onto your pho? Cool we added it to try. They also don't give us tea until the meals are served / when we asked. They also missed one of our pho orders so my SO was just waiting for a while and we had to flag down the server to follow up on the missing rib pho. You would think a sizzling plate would take longer to come out compare to the pho. I think they forgot it. We ordered banh cuon to start and share. It kinda stuck together and easily tore when we tried share it. Though it was definitely delicious and the cold cuts and meat patties are good. I just wish there were more rice rolls compare to the sides. I had the brothless pho and I love that they still had the broth on the side for me to enjoy. Others at the table also liked their chicken pho and the "Dodging" sizzling beef steak plate, though it's closer to a thinly sliced teriyaki than actual sizzling strips of steak on a plate. It looked like the same meat I got on my brothless pho with beef. Portions are good, food is tasty and the space is really clean and modern. Overall wouldn't mind repeating but service is a bit clunky. Who wants to wait for their dish for 10-15mins while everyone at the table has theirs?

The broth was rich & spicy with good layers of flavor although on the oily side for me which probably has to do with chili oil. The bowl is full of noodles & ingredients making it fulfilling. My friend got the special beef pho large size and he said that it is very good. We also ordered the crispy spring rolls. We both loved this as it was a bit different than what we are used to. It feels very welcoming and the staff were all very friendly. I decided on the 5 Spice Pork Belly Banh Mi and a Thai Iced Tea, and I split the Deep Fried Spring Rolls and the Dry Crispy Wings with my friends (they ordered pho for themselves which I didn't take a picture of). The wings were amazing, with a kind of crispy texture that I have never had anywhere else, and the spring rolls were a classic and definitely hit the spot. Its one of very few dine in Vietnamese restaurants open late in Markham. Open til 1am! When you enter, the music is blasting. The decor a bit outdated but consistent with the cute theme (hanging lights, colorful artificial plants, retro brick wall.) The food was alright. I had high expectations for the place but the experience did not quite live up to them. The famous dry wings were interesting. Nice and crispy but saltier than I would like. They were also coated in some kind of sugar which was unique. It was served with a lime sauce for dipping which really just tasted like pure lime juice. I think Im partial to the plain wings which is why this menu item wasnt a hit for me. The banh mi was great. Nice size, great crusty bread yet soft on the inside. The sandwich was packed with beef and then piled high with fresh pickled carrots and daikon. The butter spread was tasty. BUT the sando was missing a key component! Did not have pate which is the rich flavor I look forward to and in my opinion seperates the banh mi from other sandiwiches. The banh xeo was huge! Comes with all the fixins(mint, rice paper, lettuce, pickled veggies, beansprouts) and stuffed with pork and shrimp. I prefer the crepe to be thicker than how it was served here. It was paper thin, so crispy. So it lacked that texture I craved but the coconutty flavours were there. This is one of 2 Nam locations - the other in Richmond Hill. Easier to sit in seperate groups at this location as the other has long tables you share with other parties.
