Went to this place for lunch and it was an amazing experience! Pros: - Fast service - we were seated within 30s. The staff were pleasant, very attentive and checked on us frequently to make sure everything was ok. - Food was good: broth may not be the clearest but tastes good. This was a large, may look small but surprisingly very filling - Iced coffee tasted like mocha to me. The Food was Great, But the Service Needs Work!! We had just finished up swimming at a local community center and were looking for a quick and relatively healthy meal. I remembered from a past visit that there was a Vietnamese Thai place just a few minutes away. When we got there we found a somewhat empty restaurant with just a few tables occupied. The pencil and order pad was already on the table and we looked over the extensive menu and found a few things we could share. I asked the server if some of the meat selections in one of the Pho dishes was fully cooked, and she didn't know. I asked if the meatballs were precooked, again she didn't know. I asked if the "beef balls' in the House Special Pho were homemade, guess what??? She didn't know. So we went ahead and ordered the House Special and made sure I ate the rare prices. We also ordered a grilled chicken baguette or 'Bahn Mi Thit" and I also ordered a Pork Belly Bao, for myself. The soup was great and the biggest size was enough for all three of us the share ( 2 kids and 1 Adult) When the Baguette came out my 7-year-old daughter asked the server what was in the sauce on the Bhan Mi or if it was just the juice from grilling the chicken? Guess what?? She didn't know!!!!!. We decided not to ask our server any more questions and finished up and split. As someone who has worked in the service industry and dines out regularly, it is imperative that your staff knows what's in the food!! What if someone at our table had allergies? Knowledge of your own restaurant's offerings is key to its success!! How did I learn so much about Viet-Thai cuisine?? I asked questions and received answers and advice on things to try. When I was a server most of the places I worked wouldn't let you out on the floor if you didn't know the menu inside out. A server's job is not only to take your order, but it's their job to guide you through the menu and hopefully, you try something new for a change. It also helps to increase the check. I know many of the Vietnamese Places out there are the 'check the box and fill out the pad style' but the ones where the staff can help you, explain the dishes and offer you more choices are the ones that stick around. I'm willing to give this place another shot...why you might ask? It's because I've been there before and had a better experience, so I don't think all is lost. I think it's possible that maybe they were short-staffed and maybe the hostess or food-runner was pressed into service. If you're on the floor serving, you must know the food!!! read more

First time visit with my kids introduced to us by family friends. Great experience! Polly was one of our servers and she had a great attitude and demeanor. The food was great. I couldn't believe how fast the service was but more importantly the food tasted great and the portions were beyond my belief. I should have ordered one size smaller. Don't know how others are giving this establishment anything less than 5 . Everything is reasonably priced for the portions they serve. Keep up the great service and product you are providing to the community and those visiting the area for a great meal. Came for weekday lunch, we all ordered pho. The portion sizes were quite good, XL was enough to feed two. Service was good as well (condiments were well stocked) and food came quickly, but unfortunately I was really not impressed with the taste. The broth was quite bland, and the noodles broke apart right away. I didn't get too much of a post-sodium/MSG aftertaste which was nice, but even so it's not a spot I'd return to. read more

This was probably one of the worst pho experiences I have had. Pho is probably one of my fav foods I eat it once a week, so when I saw this restaurant right next to my house i was super excited to try it! I ordered food for pick up and got rare beef soup , pad sew with shrimp , and vermicelli. Food was so cold the meat was gross and the vermicelli had no spring rolls or fresh veggies like you would usually get at other pho restaurants. two words. SALTY + Disgusting. I had seen this place advertise a lot when I'm scrolling through yelp to find a new hidden gem for my next dinner destination or lunch. The bao buns taste fine but the soggy overly sweet pork belly was not cutting it but I had some hopes for the banh mi to come through with flavor...cause how can you go wrong with a Vietnamese sandwich? ALERT- New Ownership. Once again Chinese ownership went and bought a different type of Asian establishment and put their soya sauce/MSG stamp on it. I decided to give this place a try after their "grand re-opening" and I was very impressed! The meat to noodles ratio was unreal, for the first time ever I finished my noodles before my beef. The pho tastes very authentic and their specialty spring rolls were great. They also serve these interesting deep fried dumplings with cream cheese inside, quite tasty as well. An ode to my recent Recently visit to V Rolls The restaurant was pleasantly packed, The other tables were eating Pho, The wife and I were up for a snack, We got adventurous, but oh... Had the General Tso's Chicken, A runny sauce, and faintly spiced, I doubt it's made in the kitchen. However, it's surprisingly well priced. Ought to be called Major Meh's Chicken. Also had the Pad Thai, With less noodles than onion, I thought I was gonna cry. It wasn't an ideal luncheon. Still upset I got the Pad Thai. Gave vroll a try since wifey wanted pho takeout. Interior looked clean upon arrival. We ordered the vroll bun and customizable pho. I find it odd that a pho place does not offer special beef noodle nor does it give size options for the noodle. For one size the pho was 9.50 definitely on the expensive end. The vroll bun was okay priced at 11.50 given that it had meat ball, a couple types of meat and spring roll.t he surprise came when we opened the takeout boxes at home. The portion was shockingly small for the pho. And the quality of the meat was subpar; quite rough and tough. Soup base a bit bland. My wife who's not a big eater by any means was hungry after the pho. Flavour wise the seasoning of the meat for the bun was ok. Portion wise again on low end and I was hungry after it. As well. Spring roll lacked necessary crunch as it was too thick and the filling although had taro lacked spice. A 0lus for using recyclable paper based containers.
