The biggest problem is the inconsistent quality--some dishes are excellent, while others are rather ordinary, even making you feel like "something else tastes better." Plus, the prices aren't cheap, so if you happen to order an average dish, the value for money doesn't quite meet your expectations. There is an hour seating limit as it gets quite busy, yet the busyness of the restaurant didn't make us feel cramped at all. My friend and I shared one and we're big eaters so we shared it between the two of us and actually felt full! They also PACK the platter with ingredients and don't skimp on anything which is awesome. You love to see it. Also, I came with the gf and the curry is quite layered in terms of flavour. But for me, the most underrated item is the tomato beef brisket noodle soup. Damn, that tomato broth SLAPPED. Better broth than a lot of chinese soup noodle places I've been to and the brisket was also very tender. Even though Ngon Corner is still packing the most flavour in their pho broth, I found myself somehow gravitating to this place with more and more visits because of the sheer value and pricing (I've also told a lot of ppl that they're quite affordable compared to some of the other Viet stalwarts in Markham/RHill).
