Was greeted as soon as I entered the restaurant. That's I plus. I got to choose my spot among the many areas to seat. Super fast service! All dishes are medium or taste level of 4 so states waitress. They have sarachia on the table and additional hot sauce (homemade) you can add to the pho. The soup is a little bland and needs some spice. It's more a level 1-2 for my taste. The sea food.....what seafood???? Smells of stinky fish. It's that fake crab meat that's formed in sticks with pink food coloring. Yuck. A few shrimp and cut onions green and white. First time here. I came because of the reviews I read and decided to give this place a try. I was greeted by a friendly woman who helped me order from the menu. My favorite Vietnamese food orders are the grilled pork with vermicelli and shrimp skewers. I also ordered spring rolls and one chicken fried rice and one pork fried rice. I give high marks for the quantity of food you get for the price. I enjoyed the grilled pork/shrimp vermicelli plate. The pork was cooked well and was delicious. The shrimp skewers were also cooked and seasoned well. I love that I had a lot of noodles, some places don't give me enough! The vegetables were fresh and crisp. I thought the "sauce" that came with it could have been more flavorful but I still enjoyed it. Both fried rice dishes were flavorful and again, I was pleased with the amount of their portions given. The chicken spring rolls were good, but I wish it was stuffed with less lettuce. It was too much for my liking. I love how the cabbage and cucumbers were cold and crunchy. It was like a salad. I used the fish sauce the dish came with to make it like a salad. I've been to this location probably about 30 times, they have great pho! I usually order the large combination pho, it's a pretty huge bowl with lots of different proteins. It can get pretty crowded during lunch time, especially on weekends. Service is usually good unless they have a full house, then it gets a bit chaotic. This is a pretty decent pho joint. I can't help compare it to Pho An in Richardson, which is extremely authentic and 99% patrons were Vietnamese, but let's not go there. The portion size is standard (a good thing) as all you really need to order is a regular size. I've gone in starving and regular has always been filling for me. Another plus is that they actually provide a decent amount of herbs/beansprouts/jalapeno, and lime. I've gotten take out many times here and they still give you a lot of everything. This is mainly the reason I come back here. It pisses me off to no end, the pho places who give you like 1 measly Thai basil sprig, a single slice of jalapeno and tiny lime because they're cheap. Sometimes the meat portion does feel a little lacking, esp if you just get the top round. Since that's the only meat, it should be more. But I'm sure it's not a science, which is why I do recommend getting extra meat for $3 more if you love meat. When you do that, they really do give you a lot. I've done it many times with my take out order. Flavor of the broth is good. Honestly not sure if it's truly pho that's cooked for 8 hours the legit way, or if they've cut corners, but it's good enough to eat if you're craving pho and that's what matters. Egg rolls (both veggie and meat) are good. When you eat inside, server is surprisingly nice (rare for a Viet place) if you care about stuff like that. All in all, given the location and not being stingy with the herbs, as well as the taste of food, they get 4 stars. I'd be a hypocrite if I gave anything less considering I've ordered from here like 20 times already and just moved to The Colony a month or so ago. read more

My dog, Marshmallow, loves to eat their bean sprouts as a treat. He patiently waits until I'm done eating, then I throw a few on the floor and he devours them. He would eat them all if I let him. Always happy after eating good Pho. I came in tonight needing the healing power of pho. It is the kind of food that makes all my senses come alive. Warm savory broth, chewy rice noodles, crunchy basil & bean sprouts, tender meat, and a pop of lime citrus. I also ordered a glass of rainbow drink! Perfect and refreshing.
