Good food, but I was really disappointed with the service. It took ages to be served and was hard to get ahold of our server at all, even to refill our waters, or get/pick up our check. Our food was cool by the time it got to us, I got the Vegetarian Pho and it was fairly good despite being almost cold from the wait from the kitchen to our table. They weren't busy, it was only us and two other small tables, so I am not sure where the hold up was. I moved to the Bay Area, which is known for great ethnic food, including Vietnamese. However, to this day I have not found bahn mi sandwiches that live up to the sandwiches here. I come here so often (at least once a week) that the waitress knows me. The pho here is delicious; the number 8 is great if you want lots of meat but don't love fat or gristle. I've tried the bhan mi, and it was pretty good, but I'd say the pho is way better. The gyoza and boba drinks are delicious too! (Try the taro ) read more

Pho Plus - Mmm comfort food! - Vietnamese Near Me - Provo, Utah

I have yet to find perfect pho in Utah, but this is my favorite in Utah valley. Best atmosphere and decor by far, ideal for date night. My wife and daughters had come with me to a concert without eating dinner, and we got to the restaurant very late, just as they were closing. Place was empty, but they let us in even though it was after hours by the time we placed our order. Excellent service, and the Pho was delicious. Meat was good, broth was good, and portion was huge. Egg rolls were yummy. Their Orem location is barely a two star, and this is a four. Better in every way. Hard to believe they are the same owners. read more

My husband and I come here frequently. It's the best Pho we have found. I have always been impressed with the wait staff at Pho Plus, but the guy tonight went above and beyond. Generally when we take our one-year-old to restaurants the staff will coo for a moment, grab her a highchair, then largely ignore her (which I honestly hadn't noticed before now). But our guy tonight brought her her own cup partially filled with water, her own straw, her own set of chopsticks and spoon to handle, and, when our food came, her own bowl for us to put a few noodles in. He was also friendly with her, but knew when to back off so as not to make her uncomfortable. He did all this without feeling intrusive, etc. It doesn't sound like much, but he made us feel like he was really happy to have not only us at his table, but our daughter as well. I know it's /possible/ that he was doing it for a good tip (don't worry; we gave him a really good one), but it certainly didn't feel like it. We always have a good experience at Pho Plus but thanks to this guy it was even better than usual. read more

i am quite the pho lover but this place just was disappointing. the restaurant itself is cute and the staff is friendly. but the music is way too loud and is technically screaming at you. i always get the steak pho and it is absolutely embarrassing how little they give you of basil, cilantro, limes, etc. even if you ask for extra, expect AT MOST maybe 2 leaves of basil and two limes. what are you guys on a budget?? because it seems to me you guys have great business. if this were a REAL pho place they would at least give you a good amount of everything. in pleasant grove there's an amazing pho place and they cater to all your needs. they give you tons of fix ins. but pho plus gives you nothing. barely any meat either. i'd rather receive a good amount of cilantro, basil, limes, jalapeños, etc. that's what makes the meal the best ! is all the things you can add in to make it your own! and pho plus, you guys do a horrible job with that. i am disappointed every time i go with the portions you give. maybe next time i'll run to the local grocery store and just buy my own limes cilantro and basil since y'all will give me like one leaf and call it good. this isn't a real pho place. this is a cheap knock off. read more

Meh. I enjoy eating Vietnamese food and love to try new restaurants. The food here was the most mediocre and tasteless Vietnamese I have eaten. The shrimp was obviously reheated...it was tough. They served a vermicelli dish in which the vermicelli was served hot. Who does that? The most basic thing, the spring rolls, we're the worst I have ever had. The chicken in my dish was tiny chunks like they'd broken up some pre - prepared breaded chicken like you get with a sauce like sweet and sour at the standard Chinese restaurant. On a Friday night only one waitress and hardly anyone here. I can't believe this place has 4 Stars in Yelp. I will not be back. read more

This is my favorite pho restaurant. Fast, friendly, and very reasonably priced. $12.00 for a HUGE bowl with extra meat. I'm far from a pho expert, but this is the best I have had. They are closed from 2:30 - 5:30 so you can't get an early dinner or late lunch. If you like pho or want to try it, this is the place. You won't be disappointed. read more

The food was fine. I was very dissatisfied with the service. I went in and there was nobody in the front. I rang the bell and it took a few minutes for them to come seat me even though there were only a few people in the restaurant. After seating me and serving our food, the server comes over and tells us they are actually supposed to be closed at 2:30 pm. It made me and the person I was with feel very uncomfortable. She never came back to fill our drinks or ask if we needed anything. When I went to pay she asked me for a tip, which I also thought was tacky, and I was already leaving one. Maybe a fair amount of people don't tip there, which I wouldn't do, but it is understandable why they wouldn't. read more

I DON'T know how people can give this place 5 stars! I've eaten Pho in every city and country that I've visited and this is by far the WORST tasting Pho ever. The Broth has NO flavors what so ever. It tasted like they just boiled the beef in hot plain water. Gross! Pho is supposed to have all sorts of flavors and herbs cooked for hours. This broth has NO Flavor at all. Even when I doused the broth with hoison sauce to make it at least edible, it was so hard to enjoy this dish. I even tried another dish since I could not eat this Pho. I ordered the rice, bbq meat with egg rolls dish. It looks like what it was supposed to but the rice was overcooked and the Vietnamese fish sauce tasted so bland. There was no taste to the sauce. And to make sure that it wasn't just me, I made my partner tasted my dish too and he too confirms my suspicion. No wonder, because the people that owns this place and the cook is NOT Vietnamese. They are Koreans. No wonder a Korean chef cannot make a traditional Vietnamese dish taste authentic! Korean food is delicious, maybe they should stick to cooking what they know. We will NOT be coming back. There are too many other delicious Authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Utah to go to if I wanted real Vietnamese food and a good bowl of Pho. Try Noodle King (its just around the corner of Pho Plus), Viet Deli (Saratoga Springs), or Gossip Tapioca (Exit 5300 and Redwood Road in Salt Lake City). read more
